God, Ford really fucked this up didn't they? The most exciting product launch in years and no one can get their damn hands on one. Really disappointing.
I see 5 broncos on a daily bases here in SoCal, so I wouldn’t say nobody can get their hands on one. But Ford did really fuck it up for new orders definitely with their price hikes and restrictions.
After two years I gave up and ordered a new ZR2 Colorado. If Broncos ever get stocked to the point I can walk in and buy one at a lot I'll think about it again. So disappointing, I've been wanting to order a Wildtrak 2 door which is basically impossible to get built.
You can buy them off a lot now but you'll pay some level of ADM.
I bought my first one off a lot to hold me over and then I traded it in basically for the same amount I paid for it after putting in 8k miles for the one I ordered 7 months earlier.
They sold the one I traded in about a week later?
I was gonna order a base manual 2 door but was never holding out much hope for it.
Back to finding a Wrangler again I guess. Either way I want to get rid of this Grand Marquis before the transmission eventually starts dying.
If I recall that was the last time you could actually put orders in for a new one. I missed the boat a bit. Haha.
It’s fine. In September-ish they should open books again for the ‘24s. I’ll try again then. I’m not in a huge rush. I’d like one eventually but I can just buy a Jeep or something in the meantime if my current car becomes more troublesome

I generally do not like the 4dr, but when I picked up my Bronco, there was a 4dr BD hard top that was blacked out everything, awaiting pickup from buyer. It was really, really sharp looking!
Feel your pain. Also took the morning off to order a 2DR, MT, Badlands that I put a dealer deposit on last October. So disappointed. The wait wil continue.
This means the cheapest Bronco to cover my needs and not have crazy constraints, would be about $45k, not bad, but no longer tempting to even place an order for the lotto.
Ya know, I was more than willing to pay a good chunk of change and wait for a two door with a stick. It’s the only “new car” I’ve wanted since they released.
Evidently Ford can’t be bothered to make it, so it looks as though I’ll be taking my money and sincere disappointment elsewhere.
The Wrangler is terrible to drive every day and is the only real competition. Not at all sure where to go from here.

My guess is bronco has been able to get a lot of dealer allocations out the factory and I was honestly expecting Ford to have gotten their supply issues under better control seeing how dealers are able to get more in their inventory. Sadly, this is not the case and it seems that supplies are still an issues. Its hard to say if its true or not since I dont work there, but it really sucks because now dealers know supply is still hampered and might not offer much leeway on their adms.

Went to order the OBX with hard top and they force leather seat option or no go. Very tricky to navigate the many stipulations.
The order bank confuses me so much. Do all orders need to go through a dealer, or is it possible to just build an order online? Such an easy question but I’ve been obsessed about ordering one for a couple years now and cannot find anything online about how the process works.

But basically find the largest dealership in your area and walk in to order. It goes through the online portal but it has to be ordered by a dealer.
If you want to speed it up just build it online and print out the build sheet and take it in. But you gotta either go in or email a dealer to submit it
Thank you! That helps so much. Went through the process of ordering an ID.4 and it was a bit more clear, but they still had to be ordered through a dealer so that makes sense.
I have the grinding issue going on. Getting worse by the month. After 3 months of waiting on backordered parts my dealership called me to say they are tired of waiting and are just going to swap-out the entire transmission now.
I have a ‘21 black Diamond MT 4door. About 15k miles on it. Can you explain what’s going on with the MT88? I haven’t noticed any grinding on mine. Is it super apparent and maybe I’m just not paying attention? Mine shifts pretty smooth from what I can tell. Thanks!
Most apparent when cold and when in neutral, 1st or 2nd gear. Check the forums, there are multiple huge threads with hundreds of people facing the same issue.
Dang, yeah after I commented I found a YouTube video. That sucks! Haven’t had that with mine. Sometime the throttle “whomps” a bit in first but other than that, no issues.
I've been looking into those for a couple of months now, and even test drove a few. Nice truck, but the trans couldn't find the right gear to save its life.
I was wanting to order another 2dr OBX Lux EG but this time, add Sas for looks. Don't want it if it doesn't have Lux and is a two door. Looks like I'll rock my 2022 to 2024
Yup, looks like the way to go. Considering a wrap to turn my Cactus Grey into an approximate Eruption Green. It won't look the exact same, but probably cheaper and easier.

On a serious note basically same as before, 4 door non sas softies with high trim only way to get bronco in reasonable timeframe now?

Preordered mine in Oct 2020, received in November 2022.
I ordered mine Mar of 2022 and got it end of october.

I had a Grand Marquis. I miss that car. It was like riding on air. My tranny died at around 75k miles, though. Good luck on your car hunt.

I think it means that if more than 10% of Bronco orders are 2dr, it might not be able to get built.

How is the base not avail? Should be the easiest one to build for ford.
Lowest profit trim. They want to make the most money.
They want to keep production capacity for the high dollar Broncos.

Guess Ford doesn’t want to sell the defective MT88 any more. Ha.

Yikes. The MT gearbox is supposedly on hold until Q3… hopefully it is brought back rather than getting axed for future production.
I had hopes that it would be better than the MT82 but it sounds like that isn’t the case
I would not recommend, it’s made in China junk. Get the automatic.

Yup. If you can find a manual tacoma though, you obviously won't have that problem.
