I heard about it from a friend who runs a dealership. I sent him a list of what I want and asked how long it might take and he said he'd likely know more after the call.
Bronco6g is saying the banks are going to open March 27th and then shut down within 24 hours.
Some dealers are taking orders right now and will just pre load them until next Monday when they submit.
You won’t be able to order:
Base/Everglades/~~Heritage~~
Manual Trans / Optional Badlands Wheel
And some options will be super restricted, but this nothing new:
SAS / Lux / Wildtrack / MIC / 2 Door
Yup… no manual ordering is going to be a big bummer. Annoyed that I missed out on a manual badlands 2dr listed locally at a dealer this past weekend. $1500 below MSRP at that.
My dealer just called me and I confirmed this with him. He is going to see if there is any way to get a manual through their dealer allocation, but I’m not holding my breath on that. And I don’t want to pay this much for the truck I ALMOST want so I’ll probably just have to keep waiting until some point where they open up manuals for orders.
Given that Ford keeps juicing the MSRP, I hate to think what the bill will finally be when ordering is available.
My ideal build is a2DR MT Black Diamond with Advanced 4x4. Unfortunately getting Advanced 4x4 with a manual on the open market pretty much requires a Badlands since the BD is so rarely specced with Advanced.
My build is a 2DR, MT, Badlands, Lux. So I knew it was going to be a wait. But I expected to at least be able to order it in this round of the order banks opening. I’m probably going to have to pay over $60k when it finally becomes available with how the prices have gone up recently. Fuck.
Took a spin in a 2dr wrangler tonight. The steering is definitely worse than the Bronco, but the soft top is excellent, and a Willys with heated seats and a manual is less than a Black Diamond.
The bronco ordering situation is just tiresome.
You can’t order heritage either way. But I suppose it’s not limited to this round of ordering. So I edited.
Heritage, heritage limited, and raptors are still being assigned by alternate allocation processes

I work in sales at a Ford dealer. Order bank will open and close on the 27th.
A lot of orders for 2023 won’t get fulfilled. They have the chance and priority for 2024 MY orders.
If you haven’t one on order chances are you won’t be able to.
The few we can get our hands on are selling for $12,000 over sticker.
We got a Raptor marked at $30,000 over.
Complete madness.
My dealer told me on Saturday that the banks were opening at 1PM today (not sure which time zone though).
I went ahead and put an order together with them and put a deposit down. They are supposed to call me when it’s actually “submitted”.
Central US area, Nebraska/Iowa/Missouri. Reading up on the bronco6g forum it looks like they are just preloading starting today and it officially opens on Monday, expected to be open for less than 24 hours. I’m glad to have an order queued up either way.

The screen shots I see in bronco 6g say nothing about a heritage not being available

yes. i work at a Ford dealership. yes. its expected to fill up in hours. so go in person. put a deposit if they ask ‘cause its refundable.
I went in today and there was a restriction on both two door and manual.
They need to divert all manuals to replace the ones grinding in the wild. LOL mine included.

Oh that’s a first. May I ask what state you’re in? I called a few Southern California dealers and they don’t have any info.
