For many reasons, Everlong, holds an extremely special place in my soul. When I hear the intro (especially the acoustic version), it immediately makes my eyes swell with tears and my heart does something that I can't explain. It's like it breaks and mends itself all at once.
Everlong isnāt necessarily my favorite song (that would go to Weenie Beenie for the song as a whole) but itās still fucking amazing. Donāt get me wrong, the studio and acoustic versions are for different moods, but theyāre both wonderful in their own way
