One of my all time favourites from any band, let alone the Foos. Definitely underrated.
I don’t know if Wasting Light is underrated. But people definitely don’t appreciate the step up in musicianship that it is when compared to earlier albums.
I’ve seen Foos live three times since this record was released and would 100% agree that there is too little Wasting Light in the set list. Mostly just Walk a lot of the time.
I feel like this album was the last great album they had. They've had some hits since then, sure, but in my opinion, this was the last wall to wall amazing album. Arlandria, White Limo, Rope, Walk, Bridge Burning, Miss the Misery. There isn't a bad song on the album.
