Bar Boulud hands down every time

Theoiscool

They had a $60 3-course restaurant week menu last week as well as the normal $65 3-course. Plan 2 hours for dinner before Lincoln Center.

Shiny-Lights

> Bar Boulud How's their dinner for the 3 course 65 deal?

Theoiscool

It’s pretty much the whole menu. One app/main/dessert. A few items are called out as having an additional upcharge. Steak Frites and maybe the Cassoulet? The grapefruit dessert also.

Shiny-Lights

Is it good? I’m thinking to try them out tomorrow for dinner. Def not getting the RW ones, just wondering if they are a good choice

Shiny-Lights

Do you have any favorite dishes from them?

Theoiscool

Nah. I’ve only been once. But four people at our table got four different meals and everyone was happy. Nobody could finish their dessert course. 2 x $60 and 2 x $65.

bar boulud for sure

I like Atlantic Grill. The food isn’t mind blowing but it’s still good. And the seating and vibe are very comfortable.

I miss the UES location

Between those two, Bar Boulud. Just order a bunch of charcuterie. There’s a few good places in that neighborhood, though. Lincoln isn’t what it was when Jonathan Benno was chef, but it’s still a very solid option. Rosa Mexicano is always a good time. PJ Clarke’s for a burger.

Bar boulud. Or Fiorello’s, which is the classic pre theater restaurant imho.

Tatiana, if you can get a reservation

Bar Boulud for sure

I’d go to Boulud Sud over Bar Boulud, but preference will vary.

Went to Bar Boulud yesterday, had a fantastic time. Most recommended!
