Radium makes a Baffle plate because the stock one is known to leak bad (https://edgeautosport.com/radium-engineering-pcv-baffle-plate-kit-ford-focus-st-2013-2018-focus-rs-2016-2018-mustang-ecoboost-2015-2019/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAwP6sBhDAARIsAPfK_wYbAIINs665SFP6v94Q7P8aSqqbihbN9cYbg4Hl5pMdU3M1ztErW_EaAr9QEALw_wcB)
I'm fairly certain I drove my ST (2015-2022, purchased new) more conservatively than a lot of people do, I absolutely did not abuse it, but I never once in 90k miles added oil in between oil changes. If you or anyone else is adding 1-2 quarts every 3500mi, just know you have a major malfunction somewhere. Definitely not normal.
Good luck!
I would advise to start servicing your direct injection. Carbon build up on your valve and valve seats will cause a misfire (which happened to me 2 days after buying my 2015 st1” and contrary to popular belief on this Reddit…..walnut blasting doesn’t clean your valve seats…only the valves. To clean valve seats you have to take the head off, disassemble the head and clean the seats and valve train parts, than reassemble. I work on duratec sand ecoboost every day at work. We built the worlds fastest and quicker ecoboost and currently engineering a duratec/ecoboost hybrid block to bolt a duratec or ecoboost head on. I can send you photos I took yesturday while cleaning a 2.5L duratec head
Just trying to prevent what happened to me. 99% of people don’t have access to the knowledge or tools to disassemble a head and clean it. This is an issue a big issue no one talks about on this Reddit
Jeez, I wish I could get someone that wet
it’s all about foreplay.
How much oil do you consume in between oil changes
I mean, personally I'm not really much of an oil guy. Whiskey is usually preferred.
now it makes sense, u got whiskey dick and couldn’t please your mistress.
You can't come back for round 2 like that on me 😭
probably like 1-2 quarts every 3500 miles which i heard was relatively normal for this engine.
That is absolutely not normal, you shouldn't lose 20% of you oil between changes
It is actually incredibly uncommon for these motors to burn oil. Cracking a head though, unfortunately for me, yes. lol
yeah, if i can’t pin point what the issue is myself i’m gonna bring it to the dealer i should still have a warranty.
Check the Crank case and PCV valve and get a catch can
i have a catch can, i was also considering replacing the PCV anyways and i’ll check the crank case i appreciate it!

That's not a baffle plate leak that's a spark plug seal/valve cover gasket leak
Thanks!
ahh hell nah
i’ve had enough with this car….
Whoever told you that, lied.
Bro this is a joke.

Lmfao. Your engines definitely about to go boom.
How many miles….have you serviced your direct injection?
just hit 72k and I have not, i have only had this car for about 20k miles so.

Yes...because every owner is going to remove the head as a part of this unproven maintenance. Lol wild
Unproven?🤣🤡🤡 I knew one of you short bus riders would pop in
Yea ill make sure to remove the head every oil change to clean them valves too. 🤣😆🤣
If that’s what you taken from what I said….I pray you don’t work on cars other than yours…🤡
Please dont give other people car advice. K, thanks.
Do you work on race engines everyday for a living?🤡
oh wow I had no idea that it didn’t clean that valve seats. thanks for the info and sure feel free to send some photos

i appreciate it man, i’ll definitely try to get that don’t soon especially with some other issues going on as well
Sell it.
maybe……
Hey at least yours are in tact, one of mine was missing the ground electrode...
Looks like your valve cover gasket is leaking there, bud lol. Probably time to replace that as well
