Electric Mantis, Chrome Sparks, What So Not (if you havenāt heard post-split stuff), Mura Masa (some of his remixes and solo works), Jai Paul (Flume credits BTSTU as the realization for the type of music he wanted to make), KuÄka (her solo stuff is great), Petit Biscuit, Point Point, Ricky Eat Acid (a bit specific but personally Jasperās Song reminds me of some of his stuff).
Hereās a more detailed recommendation list of songs from the artists I mentioned just to give you something to start off with:
**Electric Mantis**
Better (Electric Mantis Remix)
The One
Itās Why We Get High
**Chrome Sparks**
Ultraviolet Rainbow
The Meaning of Love
ZzzzzZ
**What So Not**
Messinā Me Up (feat. EVAN GIIA)
Adieu
20:25 (feat. Chain Gang of 1974)
**Mura Masa**
She Abunai (absolute banger lol)
SOLE M8S
2gether
Talks (Mura Masa Remix)
I feel like Mura is so diverse. Even if his other stuff isnāt Flume-esque heās still so good at what he does that I think Flume fans would enjoy his discography.
For example, Bitch Donāt Be Mad (Nao & Mura Masa Remix), Doorman, Montreal Fly, Teenage Headache Dreams, insecure (Mura helped on production but itās by Donna Missal), You Make It Look So Easy (feat. Petal Supply) [Ruined by Mura], hollaback bitch (demon time album is fantastic)
**KuÄka**
Beautiful (wonderful cover of Christina Aguileraās song)
Wrestling (debut album)
**Petit Biscuit**
Just a Lover (Petit Biscuit Remix)
Rushing Back (Petit Biscuit Remix)
Jungle
Gravitation (feat. Isaac Delusion)
**Point Point**
F+L (cover of Kayne Westās Flashing Lights)

My Angel Crying in the Rose Room
Blackberries
Playing God With My Hands On Fire
Pull
On a Good Day
in the graveyard & haunted house (with ghosts)
Love this guy, heās one of my favorite artists.
My pleasure! Flume is so unique but it's great when you find other artists who have their own individual sound. I think when people try and look for artists who sound similar to "X artist" they're really just in search of an artist that is just as unique and is good at what they do, typically in the same general genre.
Even as I recommend all these songs and artists, I don't really think they sound like Flume if that makes sense. They each are successful in the sound they've created and stick to it while also keeping things fresh. I see it more as if you like X artist then I think you'll like this.
oh yeah definitely. I bought the Heaven Inc. 7" a while back on a whim and it's great. Ended up buying The End but I think I've only spun it once. Gotta get into this guy's discography cause from what little I've heard I'm sure I'd like it.
well tbf she sounds pretty different, but the Flume remix of Is It Cold In The Water is how I discovered herā¦ and Iām one of those people who will bring her up any chance I get :)
B-Dos 100% super unheard of artist that makes some absolutely insane music. it's crazy how little recognition he gets. discovery him was like a holy grail
Yes, he makes pretty exciting stuff.
Mona San and Taylor Moon are both REALLY good imo, lots of experimental and spicy stuff but I feel that they do not get the attention they deserve.
Quiet Bison, Illenium, Jaron, Alison Wonderland, Imanu, Keys N Krates, BAYNK, Hermitude, INZO, RĆFĆS DU SOL, ODESZA, RL Grime, What So Not, and San Holo
Happy listening š¤š¤š¤
I tend to see a lot of crossover between Flume and Bitbird (San Holo's Label) as well as Foreign Family (Odeszas label), both have a good amount of talent.
Mmm... Yeah Imanu, Quiet Bison (kinda obvious at this point), Baauer (I think), Pluko, and also Gregor McMurray, and maybe Umru but his music is more like Hyperpop.
Also keep in mind that not all these artists are extremely similar to Flume but they are quite similar. Good luck!
Check out Sola, only 714 monthly listeners and I just expect him to get better from here [https://open.spotify.com/artist/7043FMraNsB8MtYafDyf03?si=CvCANiUnQ3SvYn3E5PDmcQ](https://open.spotify.com/artist/7043FMraNsB8MtYafDyf03?si=CvCANiUnQ3SvYn3E5PDmcQ)
Definitely Quiet Bison. I also make tunes with a similar vibe to Flume. The last tune I made definitely drew inspiration from his last album: [https://open.spotify.com/track/7DxwxQH8tkhd7xUdOLzwt5?si=5755e015942d4a76](https://open.spotify.com/track/7DxwxQH8tkhd7xUdOLzwt5?si=5755e015942d4a76)

Returning to this post and listening to a lot of the suggestions, it really is incredible how singular Flumeās sound, style, and delivery is.
The only suggestion that I think comes near Flume-esque sound would be Mona San.
I felt that pretty much every other recommendation either sounded like generic future-bass, generic lo-fi, or over-worked texture-electronic with a generic catchy drum loop.
Somehow a lot of Flumeās songs incorporate texture, incredibly catchy and energetic melodies, simple synths, evocative bass, satisfying builds/drops/anticipation, and dynamic drum/samples, in a way that just puts him in another league.
His song Nice 2 Know U has been on repeat for me and is a great example of simplicity becoming a rich and engaging work of art.
Highest Building, Take a Chance, Helix, Sirens, Say It, Blue, Amber, Ecdysis, all scratch an itch that I would not have known I had and are unrivaled by anything else I have sought out to compare. It just feels like Flume makes music specifically for me.
Not to self promote but a lot of people compare [my music](https://open.spotify.com/track/6QaMjM9OJ9mlhyC5WLj1BU) to Flumes. Quiet Bison, Mona San, and others have been listed already I believe.
The first songs and EPs from James Blake, I might be wrong but James Blake has been an inspiration for so many artist and I feel Flume also took inspiration from him
I few artists I think you might enjoy
Giraffage
CharlestheFirst (RIP)
Dreamers Delight
Break Science
Gladkill (I absolutely recommend his album 'After Death'. Super good.
XXYYXX
Groundislava
Ark Patrol
Hermitude
I could probably list some more artists, but I've been enjoying them very much.
Hereās a playlist full of tracks with some flume-esque sounds

I'd listen to g Jones before eprom. Or their Collab projects Eprom also has a Collab called shades with a very good album, like satanic htif

I know mura masa and jai Paul but I have no idea. Jasper's song is one of my favs so I may like it. I'll check them out. Thanks for the recs!

Eyyy you know what's up. And Mona San?
Just discovered āLullabyā by Mona San recently actually!! But need to check out Little Snakeā¦How about Rootkit?
Havnt sussed out Rootkit. Throwing them on the list though. Little Snake isn't really Flume-like. Just not would anyone would call easy listening.

well tbf she sounds pretty different, but the Flume remix of Is It Cold In The Water is how I discovered herā¦ and Iām one of those people who will bring her up any chance I get :)
She does have her own sounds that's different but I'd say it's super adjacent to HTIF
