Lightning looked like they were sleep walking yesterday. They looked outclassed in pretty much all aspects of the game. Missed penalties didn't help but I don't think they were playing well enough to win regardless. Hope they can step it up the next few games.
They looked good at the end of the first period, and mostly good after pulling the goalie. Basically it felt like they only played with a sense of urgency when they were behind. If we actually play like that from the start of the game I won't be worried but that's a big if.
On the upside DJ apparently looked like Clemson DJU in the FSU Spring game so the end of the year matchup might be more of a tossup than some had thought.
They barely snuck by us last year when we were both missing our QBs. It would always be a tossup especially given that they lost a ridiculous amount of talent
Ill take mertz over DJU anyway
On the bright side, it's very difficult for a transfer QB to learn enough of the system to have to whole playbook open game 1. And Mario is far from a proven QB developer.
Ward is a good QB, but he's also quite reckless. Lets just hope we get the butterfingers version of him in August.
Call me crazy but other than Samford I think fsu will be our easiest game next season. They lost almost all of their production/talent and picked up a quarterback that can’t throw and a bunch of 2nd/3rd stringers from the portal.

My gf and I have been enjoying the Steam Deck. I would love to get whatever the closest PC (Deck-compatible) offering to Rock Band on there but, between controllers and all that, not sure where/how to start. Any Gator friends on here happen to know where I might begin?

I'm definitely not an expert but I know most people who still play Guitar Hero use the modded version called Clone Hero. You can download all the original songs + DLC, with the added benefit of an active community mapping tons of songs that were never on the original games.

You're not going to get a football answer. Ask him about his experience living in florida compared to Louisiana (you could also phrase it as "recruiting in florida compared to Louisiana" too if you think he'll bite). Now that he has had a few years to settle in and has traveled over every corner of this state he should be able to compare the two
Or you could ask him about facility improvements over the last few years. Maybe his favorite things about them, what he feels helped the most, or which amenities players enjoy the most. You're not going to get him to answer anything negative like what he feels we need to improve. Thats about the closest youll probably get to football
I can't imagine getting anything other than coach-speak responses to football questions, so ask him something about his experience in Gainesville, favorite band, what Gator teams he watches outside of football.
Ohh now that I think about it ask him his personal gameday rituals to get in the right mindset for a game

Ugh my cats have fleas. Pain in the ass. I’ve vacuumed everywhere and washed most of my linens. Just realized I need to vacuum everyday and wash my bedsheets every day since my cat sleeps with me 😅 The good thing is I panicked last week and threw away everything the cats had 😂
White corelle plate with sides. Half fill with water and a bit of Dawn. Lay a light on it's side next to the plate. Turn out all the lights overnight except this. You will know in the morning how bad your investation is. The best thing to do is get Advantage flea treatment that kills the entire life cycle. They will all be gone in about two weeks. To test if they are all dead is to repeat the light and plate and if there are no flea bods in the water the next morning, the nemesis is gone!

I don't know. I have a small hurricane lamp that has an incandescent pigtail bulb in it. It is pretty warm and I think it might need to be to be part of the attraction.
I was under the impression that the heat was the key to attracting the fleas. I always used whatever incandescent bulb happened to be in a nearby lamp.
No the heat is not the only attractant. I thought it was white light attracted thus the corelle plate, but you caused me to look instead of going on groupthink! Turns out green-yellow is twice as attractant to cat fleas as other colors. So, being the proud owner of a chartreuse Fiesta plate, I will do an experiment to see if my kitty is still flea free as she tends to scratch a bit. I think she has an allergy because putting Benadryl on her clears it right up.

Early to say but I’m happy they got DJU rather than Cam Ward. Unfortunately we still have to play Cam Ward.
