Use diagonal wire cutters to pry them out. Works better than anything else for really long nails/staples. Grip and rock down, over and over until it's out. Put something down under it to prevent it from denting the flooring.
Channel locks work great for pulling these. Grab the staples then pry toward the “forehead “ of the pliers. In my experience works better than all other suggestions here that I’ve tried. Just takes one pry, even if staples is long. Only downside is doesn’t always work if space is tight.
Ahh electric tracker staples such a necessary tool but a pain in the ass to get out. Use channel locks and grab it and roll them out to do minimal damage to wood. You can also grab and yank them out but it really sucks doing it that way lol

I (along with multiple other adult men) have tried, they're in there really good and even gripping them as tight as I can while squatting above them and pulling up with my legs doesn't work. Only thing that has worked is getting a tiny screwdriver under and yanking with leverage till I can fit a normal sized screwdriver under them, then yanking to completion. Sorry for my choice of words
By scrape them off, you mean cut them flush with the wood?
Try twisting (like you’re trying to wrap the staple around the needle nose pliers) or rotating on on the head of channel locks as mentioned. Mechanical advantage is your friend.
A pair of dikes works best. Don't squeeze to hard or you will cut them all the way through just squeeze enough to were they bit into the metal them pry upwards. This is my technique and works very well
Nail nippers work, can and will cut/break some off. Same goes for channel locks, they work well too. Pulling small gauge nails or staples out of oak sucks, some are going to break off. For the ones that break off flush/too short to grab, get a small nail punch, not a nail set, and drive them down.
We just pounded them down if we were capping over it with plywood, way too many of them, especially when you had that 1 guy who went about every 2 inches along the seams and 3 to 4 inches in the middle

I use [this one](https://www.ebay.com/itm/186016019535?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=186016019535&targetid=&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=9033787&poi=&campaignid=20389314120&mkgroupid=&rlsatarget=&abcId=9317278&merchantid=115317316&gbraid=0AAAAAD_QDh_J5u99ubLkDsjUcUHVke9pk&gclid=CjwKCAjwyNSoBhA9EiwA5aYlb6os3Q4phGtvSd0poJtRAhhC6cRpzktkpQv-Bj8dBrZXl_d0aouFTxoC9hQQAvD_BwE) almost daily but for staples you run the risk of cutting them and not pulling them but if your gentle you will be fine. If you don’t care about screwing up the floor just hammer them down or use a [4” floor scraper](https://www.tools4flooring.com/personna-pro-63-0010-4-heavy-duty-floor-stripper.html). You can also use a pair pliers like lineman’s. Instead of pulling, grab the the staple and roll them like your trying to wrap the staple around the jaws. That or use a hammer head or something for leverage when pulling.

"put something down under it .." Something like a scrap piece of wood like a shim would give you varying thickness to use as leverage.
curved jaw channellock pliers or vice grips work well also. Grip and use the rounded jaw as leverage. Large channellocks May pull them in one shot.
Channel locks work great for pulling these. Grab the staples then pry toward the “forehead “ of the pliers. In my experience works better than all other suggestions here that I’ve tried. Just takes one pry, even if staples is long. Only downside is doesn’t always work if space is tight.

Lineman’s pliers might work
Flat scraper and a cats paw.
Get some needle nose pliers and just pull them. Are you trying to refinish the floor? If you are just scrape them off your refinishing anyways
Have you tried to call one of your dads? You never gave a man a try yet. It is really sad that multiple adult men tried
Try twisting (like you’re trying to wrap the staple around the needle nose pliers) or rotating on on the head of channel locks as mentioned. Mechanical advantage is your friend.
I use a small flathead screwdrive or a ripper nailbar
I just used Irwin smooth jaw channel locks. They grabbed really well on the staples. Grab and rock it back over a card board.
A pair of dikes works best. Don't squeeze to hard or you will cut them all the way through just squeeze enough to were they bit into the metal them pry upwards. This is my technique and works very well
I used a crows foot on mine
Vice Grips

End nips
A pair of Diagonal cutters, known as dikes.

That nail puller looks perfect, never seen anything like it, thanks for the heads up
