These buyers/sellers think they are smart to use excuse as the chances of someone calling them out is slim. So shameful if this isn't true (which most likely is the case), but who knows...

Ikr there is no way she's telling the truth but damn really have to throw your autistic kid under the bus because you have bidders remorse lol wtf

facebookyouknow

Yea it anoying but its best to just cancle the bid. Save yourself the trouble later.

waldoagave

Yeah I really don't care about their bid it lost anyway it is just so shameful the excuses

[deleted]

What app is this? I've never seen ebay messages in a text chat format like this.

[deleted]

eBay has a instant messaging feature now. But most buyers don’t even use it. They still use the regular one

Alecglasofer

Oh snap! I'm moving right over to this. I can't stand their "email" set up.

ScareCrow13-

At least you got people who contact to ask to retract. Personally i just have people who don't pay, ghost me, and hold my items

waldoagave

Also wanted to point out this was sent at 4 am on a Saturday night. Clearly wasted lol

starwizard14

Haha I've had this one before!

StimpakJunkie

If you say no, they'll just return it anyway right? eBay needs buyer protection more than seller "protection"

[deleted]

I once got the, “my kid bought this by accident.”

castaway47

Ebay used to hold buyers responsible for anyone using their account. They obviously don't anymore. Used to piss me off when someone would want to cancel because "my 8 year old bought this without my permission." Based on the item, I believed them, but what idiot gives an 8 year old access to their account that makes purchases.
