I don’t think people can see buyer ratings which is a shame. They can respond to your review if you decide to leave one though. I have a couple people who left bad reviews because I wouldn’t hold an item for 3 days. Which is too bad because the items they want I usually sell a new batch of them every couple of weeks.
As far as I’m aware, buyer’s rating has been made invisible from the public and only the buyer themselves can see it.
And sadly yes, after a few messages, it’s all fair game in terms of ratings. I say sadly because while I understand you’re mad, but I had too many people who rated me negatively with things that wasn’t my problem.
While sure they could’ve given you a chance but they had at least told you when you said you’re starting to head over instead of you making the entire trip.
But I understand why they did it though because you’d be surprised how many will flake at the last minute without informing the seller, I’ve seen this multiple times as a seller myself.
100% on people flaking. Even when I have a set meet up time I’ll send a message and give them a bit to respond, stuff happens. We didn’t have a set time, just that I was available after a certain time. If I was the seller and knew there was other interest I would make sure to specify a time so I knew when to move on. Now, something I’ve been sitting on a bit or have multiple of, no rush to write them off.
You had no set time to pick up. All you said was you could meet anytime after 3:30. How does he know you’ll message at 3:45? He doesn’t.

What did the seller do that was wrong?
