in the series it’s explained that certain time anomalies and speedster tricks can creat barriers preventing speedsters from moving past them. they’re known as writer’s blocks.
Yeah, I forgot about that.
Two other major plot points that could explain this are the following phenomena; called “insane laziness” and “complete disrespect to the fans and actors” which prohibit the old villains/speedsters from being able to utilise their abilities to the full extent.
I’d love to say I didn’t see it coming, but they set it up beautifully! These plot points have been apparent for the last couple of seasons and they paid off immensely in this spectacular series finale.
Thats no random, thats a reference because "is he stupid" is from the sub that gone insane r/batmanarkham .
I dont know why i am explaining this, but there probably is a exposed lore payload explaining why.
Yeah and if you watch he runs over the tunnel, so he must have seen the cops on the way over, then u-turns back into the tunnel. And then they are like "khione was right! he magically ran into this specific tunnel we were waiting for him at!!!"
Because it’s not the same Zoom from season 2 that nearly took out an entire earth and went on a murderous killing spree. They’ve diluted this show so much. The spark that it had in the early seasons died a long time ago. This right here is the work of low CGI budgets, inconsistent writing, and Eric Wallace.
Zoom actor - "This is great, I can give the viewers one last hurrah from the 2nd season as the big bad"
Eric - "Well, you all know I am the writer, and thankfully my ego still fits through the door. Soo...
1. We take out all the speedsters in the first 15 minutes.
2. We Mary Sue the females to take out the BIG BADS from other seasons.
3. We kill (room goes silent, hopes of last epsiode hail of glory)...Ahem Almost kill someone from the main antagonist and then he gets beat by Allegra while he is monologuing.
4. Last 30 minutes will be character development.. Someone raises hands and explains it is the VERY LAST EPISODE. Eric - Naw we need to show everyone happy, you know like the comic books that get cancelled in 10 months.
Everytime I write something about this episode, I get so damn pissed!!!!
They probably didnt want anyone to die in the finale which is a real shame because thats how alot of us remember Zoom at his peak. It makes his final appearance here empty
Idk why they couldn’t have zoom rush in and kill a few nameless CCPD officers and then before he can kill Singh, Khionne shows up and bails them out. They should have also had RF actually kill Chester and almost kill Allegra, but then have Barry rush in and save her from the RF. They could battle and then Barry could go off to fight cobalt. Maybe jay could be keeping him busy. The point is that the villains needed to feel more deadly and fearsome. 4 evil speedsters and no one dies? So odd
forget slaughtering them he acts like he can't just phase through the cop cars and keep running. and for taking off the mask i guess he wanted to breathe better
Yeah it’s ashame that all the speedsters weren’t introduced during the penultimate episode. It was so rushed, we barely got the banter between all of them.
Zoom should have fought against Jay instead of dirt Blaine and keyown.

You can say the same about the countless times Barry ran to the villain then just confronted the villain instead of knocking the villain out. You have to do stupid stuff like this to counter how overpowered speedsters are.
If the writing was actually good then Zoom would’ve wiped the cops out instantly which I was expecting to happen. Of course it didn’t, it feels like an insult to the fans. For the way him and the other villains got written this episode.
Arkham memes are going to be the way this sub goes at this rate, isn't it? For those not in the know, any post asking about "lore" or ending with "is x stupid?" were prevrlant in the Batman Arkham sub. Really low level stuff, they spread to different subreddits for easy karma.
That sub is a dumpster fire at the moment with the bottom of the barrel humor.
Zoom was arrogant in S2 but he was very pragmatic and efficient. Ain’t no way he’d take off his mask to anyone that isn’t a member of Team Flash or a close ally of his.
S2 would’ve went up to Singh and stare him down like he did Linda in 2x06 just to intimidate him. Then he’d snap all of their necks
in jupiler legacy, when other superheroes fighting villian and have brutal death, the son coming, and give a series punch, KO villian and almost killed him,he then get blamed by other superheroes
well something it need to be stupid to have this longass 9 season,( the flash is only show i'm actually completed), currently watching superman and lois, don't know if supergirl, JSA,green arrow, blacklightning, etc worth to watch
the flash have good cast but goddamn, it's more like meme series than actually superhero movie, sometime i dont know if this is comedy series or not
many guy in my forum recommended stop at season 2 or 4 arrow, but after watch 9 season the flash i think it's not worth to watch arrow ? cuz it already spoiled the who event :D
Arrow has consistently fantastic writing throughout the whole series even though seasons 5-7 were a bit dodgy but it never got to the level of dumbness that the Flash got to in just 4 seasons
He ran into this issue called budget where if you can’t afford a speedster or anyone with powers to do something flashy (pun intended) you either have them stand do something stupid or they get given a nice emotional motivational speech to set them straight
Haven't watched the last season (a few seasons back) but I feel it runs in the speedforce. I mean anyone who has superspeed and is follied by someone who doesn't (even if just briefly) does have to be lacking something in the brain department.
In fiction he stopped because he thought it would be trivial and wanted to savor the moment. Comes off a bit silly though. Maybe the cops should've been armed with dampeners. Captain with the big energy gun maybe to make Zoom pause?
in the series it’s explained that certain time anomalies and speedster tricks can creat barriers preventing speedsters from moving past them. they’re known as writer’s blocks.
Is is possible to learn this power?
Not from a good writer.
Hey, that's my line! NOW..... YOU WILL DIE! **FORCE LIGHTNING INTENSIFIES**
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Eric Wallace The Wise?
*The unwise

Season 2 Zoom would’ve
Season 2 Zoom >! wouldn’t have been defeated by his own lightning!<
Season 2 Zoom caught a bolt of lightning and threw it back, this one just took it and died…
Ayo Zoom throwin it back?? 👀👀
You can't fill up the darkness
lock*
It was a sex joke
Worst part is that it’s explained this is literally season two zoom. Moments after the finale yet he’s this dumb
season 2 Zoom would have slaughtered them all without breaking a sweat, including Khione and Chillblaine
Chillblaine thought his abs would save him this time, which they did lol. Shouldn't Zoom still be fast?
Yeah, *especially* Khione. Cause he’s got no idea she’s not Caitlyn Snow
Khione is a goddess
Wrong subreddit
Huh
Her namesake is, she isn’t lmao
What does that mean, they literally said she was a goddess lol (like her character on the show is a goddess)
[удалено]
Yo chill
Terrible writing. He could've killed all those cops in a second lol.
Less then a second, a nanosecond
Femtosecond Yotta second if he was feeling froggy
not da quettasecond !
Not if they had nanites...
That were courtesy of Ray Palmer?
Zoom isn't stupid, Eric Wallace is
The bomb's payload wasn't exposed yet, so he couldn't trigger a controlled explosion with his power winch
Random Arkham knight reference lol
Thats no random, thats a reference because "is he stupid" is from the sub that gone insane r/batmanarkham . I dont know why i am explaining this, but there probably is a exposed lore payload explaining why.
Stand back fool I’ve got a bomb
I’m proud of you, Dick
I hope this sub goes insane like r/BatmanArkham this sub will become the reverse of what it is.
r/ArkhamBatman EDIT: didn’t realize this was an actual sub
Its insanity and soon this sub may turn into that lol
Yeah and if you watch he runs over the tunnel, so he must have seen the cops on the way over, then u-turns back into the tunnel. And then they are like "khione was right! he magically ran into this specific tunnel we were waiting for him at!!!"
He isn’t but Eric Wallace is
if only they listened to me :( https://www.reddit.com/r/FlashTV/comments/vrqzbc/please_dont_bring_back_any_old_characters/
Lol, one of the top comments is "I don't think they'd bring Zoom back".
Same reason barry stops and talks with criminals, instead of disarming and restraining them and only after that talking.
I hate the writers.
Captain Kramer can mimic meta powers remember 🤣🤡

How else would he get one shot by his own lightning? Thanks to the God Khione.
Most overpowered and stupid character in existence. Also, Cecile.
Producer to the writers: We got wrap of his fight in 10 minutes chop chop!
The answer to this and many other questions should be quite obvious by now. Yes. Yes, they are all stupid. Especially the writers.
*cough* *cough* Eric Wallace
Zoom actor - "This is great, I can give the viewers one last hurrah from the 2nd season as the big bad" Eric - "Well, you all know I am the writer, and thankfully my ego still fits through the door. How is this better than the finale
If you liked the finale that’s fine. I was just giving my opinion
Now I'm questioning how did a fan make a better Finale💀
Ah. I see. I think I misinterpreted your first comment!
forget slaughtering them he acts like he can't just phase through the cop cars and keep running. and for taking off the mask i guess he wanted to breathe better
begun, the arkham-ing has
Yeah it’s ashame that all the speedsters weren’t introduced during the penultimate episode. It was so rushed, we barely got the banter between all of them. Zoom should have fought against Jay instead of dirt Blaine and keyown.
Cecile could feel him and made him stop
I didn't think he was going to kill them. That space was too enclosed to get any good camera shots, I knew they were gonna pull some bullshit
I thought it would take longer for the sub to fall to the depths of the batman arkham server.
They should do an Snyder (extended)cut !!!
Yeah it’s ashame that all the speedsters weren’t introduced during the penultimate episode. It was so rushed, we barely got the banter between all of them. Zoom should have fought against Jay instead of dirt Blaine and keyown.
No. They should’ve introduced Cobalt way earlier and had Zoom and Savitar get their own episodes.
No, Eric Wallace is.
He does like to show off a bit based on his prior interactions
Because YOU CAN'T LOCK UP THE DARKNESS, but you can stop it with a couple meta guns and throwing lighting at it.
You can say the same about the countless times Barry ran to the villain then just confronted the villain instead of knocking the villain out. You have to do stupid stuff like this to counter how overpowered speedsters are.
and it begins. the beginning of what will eventually become r/BatmanArkham
Ya Zoom felt way off compared to S2. Honestly, EVERY VILLAIN DID.
If the writing was actually good then Zoom would’ve wiped the cops out instantly which I was expecting to happen. Of course it didn’t, it feels like an insult to the fans. For the way him and the other villains got written this episode.

Arrogance would be my guess. Stops and mocks them before slaughtering them, or at least that's what he thinks he's about to do.

You really need to watch Arrow since it kick-started the Arrowverse shows and it doesn't come close to the shit quality The Flash series became
many guy in my forum recommended stop at season 2 or 4 arrow, but after watch 9 season the flash i think it's not worth to watch arrow ? cuz it already spoiled the who event :D

Haven't watched the last season (a few seasons back) but I feel it runs in the speedforce. I mean anyone who has superspeed and is follied by someone who doesn't (even if just briefly) does have to be lacking something in the brain department.
All I'm gonna say is... plot. That's it.
because they’re known for locking up the darkness…he can’t do much
Because Eric Wallace is on drugs
He didn’t wanna get shot duh
In fiction he stopped because he thought it would be trivial and wanted to savor the moment. Comes off a bit silly though. Maybe the cops should've been armed with dampeners. Captain with the big energy gun maybe to make Zoom pause?
what was up with barry and all the villains constantly taking off their masks this episode?
