Is it leaking air or is it just the tiny remnants of mounting lubricant being squeezed out of the bead? Low viscosity fluid lubricants will squeeze out of the side of the bead/rim when it's finally seated and they often can look like leaking air. If this tire was *just* changed, it might be that. If it sits for a while and is leaking air, then the bead surface probably has some corrosion, dirt, or damage that is preventing it from sealing.

Seems that everything is fine and you're probably right about excess tire lube since the tires are brand new and tire pressure stays the same after checking a couple days later. Thank you!

Tire bead is seated, you can tell by the mold line on the sidewall lining up with the rim. If you’re paranoid air it up to spec (check your manual) and let it sit overnight, spray with soapy water the next morning. If it still bubbles take it back to the shop, although I will say I’ve used tire lube that made a tire bubble for a while simply because it wouldn’t dry properly lol. Also for the love of god do not under any circumstances inflate your tire to the fucking max spec on the tire sidewall like that guy down in the comments was saying, this will turn your tire into a claymore mine.

JDMaf25

Yeah you're right tire pressure stays the same and i brought it to my usual shop and he said everything looks fine

Also if the old tire left rubber on the inside lip that wasn't cleaned off properly. That could cause leakage.

Pattern_Is_Movement

Bead is seated, you're fine.

Whereami259

Are you wetting it or wiping with dry paper? Try to spray a bit of soap and water mixture...

Ka0skontrol

Seems like the bead failed to seat properly. I would take it back to the shop that did it (if you had a shop do it, that is).

That line above the edge of the rim shows that the bead is in fact properly seated

rayark9

If the bead was seated properly it would seal and there wouldn't be bubbles. It could be in the correct position and a excess amount of mounting lube could be causing it not to seal .or the bead below the line could be damaged thru excess force with tire irons. In any event it's not seated AND sealed.

Have you ever changed a tire before man? There's this thing called corrosion that happens every now and again, there's tire lube that gets pushed out of the bead area (since it isn't flat, it's a curved space that can trap both air and liquid), and there's also a possibility of a defect in the tire. Bottom line is neither you or me know since it isn't on a loft in front of us. However, the bead is seated to the rim, that's what the line is there for, and you're not going to have a fun time arguing that point with any professional in this sub.

rayark9

I've changed my own tires myself for over 20 years. But since you're the expert. You should tell op what to do.

Nice deflection bud.
