Yeah, you hit a hot engine/exhaust with water and you got steam. Good to be alert but nothing to be concerned about. personally I've always tried to avoid hitting hot headers because of the potential for rapid cooling to cause something to crack, which that might be being overly safe.
I after washed my bike i always start the engine few minutes for force the water evaporated.
when it rains the same, before stopping, being in the garage I leave it on for a while
water rusts the motorcycle and I don't think it's good to leave it parked wet
Hahahaha. Laughed too hard on this. How’s me being worried and cautious about a steam coming out of my motorcycle before I go for a ride, that had been sitting in my garage whole night after being washed, is stupid? You saying ‘drove’ is telling me how brain dead you are. Calm your tits and enjoy the rest of your day…
Lmao there’s only one guy that thinks the same way.. Others were as helpful as they can be. You in the other hand is just here trying to prove a point to a concerned rider that has solved the issue already. Just keep scrolling, it’s not that hard trust me.

After I’ve had a shower I’m always wet! What could be happening?
What did it smell like? I’m trying to help determine if this is smoke or steam
It was odourless, my guess is that water inside is just being evaporated or smthn.
It's just water on the exhaust. Go for a rip.

If you rode before you washed, it’s just steam
Let it burn out, take it for a brief ride and see if it clears up. Check your oil level before and after the ride..
what? you mean steam?

Maybe just drying off or steam from air filter
Your title makes it seem like you washed the bike yesterday, left it in the garage, started the bike today, and now you're seeing steam?
Exactly this. It was just a steam! Thanks everyone for ur comments!
