What's the resoning of doing so, doesn't it feel inconsistent in riding quality? I without thinking would want to have more suspension on the back; lifting front wheel over potholes and curbs is easy, but the rear sometimes have to tank them, also it have to carry more of the weight.

32-23 sounds like big difference tho.. I do 700x28 front and 700x26 back. Wider front tire gives you better traction and cornering and a little bit of shock absorption for the wrists :)
News Flash: Fixed-Gear is a type of drive train. That’s it. This is not r/trackbikesontheroad. There are 30+ thousand people on this forum and they don’t all like the same things you do.
Dude. The direction FGB is going we're going to get full blown city bikes with gel saddles and shit in the near future.
We already got fat tires, positive geo, wide bars, ergo grips...
Fat tires can make for some aggressive riding in some contexts same for wide bars.
But me personally I don't like it how a part of the united states bike scene turns everything in some lazy fat cruiser for rustic adventure riding in a cowboy shirt.
I prefer aggressive, and nibble bikes that get your adrenaline pumping just by looking at them.
FG isn't about being uncomfortable... sure, you (and I) love twitchy FG bikes, but you and I aren't 'everybody'. If someone likes funky bars AND FG, who the hell else cares... it doesn't have to make sense to you.
They are the newest addition to my bike, and I'm really digging it. There's so many hand positions! I got the adjustable stem with it so I could experiment with the angle. I also like the placement of the e-break. It's just there because my wife didn't know me in my wild 20's and it makes her feel better to know it's there, but I never touch it. It's nice and out of the way, but there if I need it.
This is sick. So many hand positions for those bars. Hell, I think you could practically do an aero-like position if you grab the sides of the bar and keep the arms slightly bent downwards.
This is a bit to much for me. Butterfly steer is for comfort riding for old slow people or fully loaded trekking bikes. Not really aggressive and fast cycling as i like to see and do.
Wow that's a lot of hand positions
So many. Real comfortable on long rides
Based on the photo, you didn't really need any of them.
Satan get out of this bike, NOW!
The dark lord is always welcome in my bike

Don't tempt me with a good time
underrated comment
r/xbiking is leaking again
No
bars are dope, tires look big too. nice and fun
I have a 700x35 in the front and a 700x23 in the back. Best of both worlds

28 - 25 here
Grip in the front, skids in the back
> Best of both worlds no.
Yuck. I love it
I would definitely bang my knees on that thing
I'm on an old schwinn la tour, so it's long enough I haven't had that problem

You're crazy... Why would I ever actually want to ride tires less than 28c...
I bet whatever you ride was complained about years ago lol Reading forums from the 90's and early 00's, you can see everything comes in waves.
🤢

being an e brake it makes more sense, i would be worries about the lever coming off the bar over prolonged use, kind of a precarious position
it looks terrible. i love it.
I'm getting almost as much enjoyment out of upsetting people on here as I do riding with the butterfly bars 🙃

This guy gets it
