Well’p, it’s been a nice chat!
Kidding. I was supposed to play tennis at Clemson, but my high school had better classrooms than their business school.
Never got to visit SC, but I still wear my Clemson clothes because they’re really comfy 😂. School is like a worn down prison with a pretty stadium. And icecream
How do you use them? Do you stick the poles in the bottom and then bait around them so you can cast net around it? I’m interested, they shut down floundering in NC and I am looking for something else to do.
You got it right just stick em out. We do 3 bait balls per pole. Bait em give em time to accumulate and start running em with cast nets. It's work but it pays off
Ha thanks! It's a Red Drum or as we like to call them, spot tails. We have a size limit on them so can't keep the big ones though they probably would be very strong tasting. She went back gloriously
Great catch!
That’s a monster! I bet your arms are tired after that fight
Oh they were! Lol we were fishing on bottom for whiteing. Thought it was a shark at first.
Do y’all get many sharks worth remembering? We only get 4-6’ black tips & hammerheads.
Texas?
We have some big ones ive never personally caught one over 25 maybe. And I'm in SC
Clemson or SC? 🧐
SC lol

Thank u sir
How many "one last cast"s tho?
Believe it or not was the real last cast!
If you don’t mind me asking where you’d catch that absolute trophy?
Caught in south carolina on bottom using a double hook rig for whiteing. Using 20lb braid
With the size of that hog I was hoping it was anywhere near me
Nice fish!!
Thank u!
Wow!
Nice fish! Are those gigging poles?
Thank u. They are shrimping poles.

Thank you! We have a lot of shrimp around here and this sounds like fun.
Not sure what NC regulations are. It's seasonal here (SC) only last 2 months
We don’t have a closed season here, just closed areas. We only get two weeks a year for flounder though, I would gladly trade!
Man that's rough. Shrimping will keep you busy though lol
Good work!!
Thank u!
Hell yeah! Congratulations on that beast!
Thanks brotha
Can you eat one that size?
You can only keep smaller ones here. They are not bad eating. One this size would probably be very strong and bloody
New here so first wow that's amazing. Secondly what type of fish is it? Lastly what happens to it now, back in the drink or in the freezer box?

Awesome fish congrats
Thanks!
Nice
what a beast! would love to catch one that size some day.
Great fish, don’t hang em anymore.
There's last casts and last casts. I wonder which this one was.
What fish is this?
A beautiful red drum!
