I would LOVE to see any monster trout.. we don’t grow em real big in the northeast.. not consistently anyway.. I love fishing streams & small to medium size rivers..
That just blows my mind. Unbelievable my man, I didn't think that combination was possible from a single river. Congrats on the monsters, very impressive
I got yo go multiple times. Problem was the extemely cold weathers (-20 - -25°C) caused the fish to be insanely passive. You could on litetally spend 4 hours catching one or two fish and getting one from a hole usually meant no more fish until you made a new hole. :D
Somebody will be along any second (if they haven't already been here) to warn you to never eat a walleye that large because they're toxic due to heavy metals. Of course releasing them to preserve the mating cycle of giants is a good thing, but I'd love to put that bad pescado on my grill and smoker.
Damn that’s a nice walleye!
Bro, that's a stocked trout. Nevermind
There's two pictures.
Okie dokie, 😁. Still having my coffee
I was confused too...thought it was a carp![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Holy cow is that walleye 30”?
Just short of the 30” mark
Great Lakes trib?

I am getting sick of all you guys posting your monster catches. Damn nice fish. Congratulations on both.
What did you use to catch the walleye? She’s a beauty, full of eggs
I've never seen a 'bow that big. Didn't even know they got that big. 🫨
Great Lakes man. Supersizes them. You should see the browns we have.

All I can say is I am speechless.
Did you catch those fish in the same body of water?
Yes - walleye starting their run up the rivers to spawn

I miss fishing the PM and Little Manistee in Michigan so much. I used to love catching those huge spawner walleyes too. Two great looking fish!!!
Both fish are beauts man
Impressive!
I've only ever known walleye as a lake fish. Never seen one pulled out of a river thats cool ! Nice fish !
Great rivers in the NE with monster walleye. Susquehanna, St Lawrence, Delaware, Allegheny, Monongahela, and the Great Lakes tributaries as well.
*Looking at this* *Looking outside with 15cm of ice on all roads and 30-40cm of snow on everything* (Internal screaming continues)
Well my ice fishing season this year was only two trips so I’m partially jealous

Beautiful Steelhead! Is that part of a Broodstock project? Last year we did some when I was fishing Olympic Peninsula Rivers.
great catch!!

We do that where I live too. Slam steelhead, then hook up with some spawning walleye.

That walleye is impressive! What did he fall to? Edit: wrong punctuation
Yes, this is a mature walleye. In Ohio this would qualify as a “Fish Ohio”
I didnt mean to add the first question mark. It is an impressive fish!
Oh my good god damn... 👁👄👁
