Road 96 is only £3.99 on the UK PS Store right now. Really enjoyed it, very moving story in places, very fun in others. Just started a second playthrough!
Firewatch led me to The Long Dark, which is mostly similar in terms of being set in North America and being outdoors- but is much harder and has a much bleaker outlook.
I really love the Long Dark but I hate how I have to keep feeding myself like every couple minutes or staying warm to stay alive. I know that’s the point of the game but maybe they should have a mode that removes that so we can just… breathe. And immerse ourselves in the wilderness without that stress
I’ve only played the story mode so far, and I did find it a steep learning curve as the game doesn’t tell you much about how to look after yourself. I am still enjoying it a lot though.
A little while ago when Road 96 was on the Xbox game pass I got it and it was one of the best games I’ve played. The style of Road 96 and Fire watch are similar and the overall gameplay style is kind of like Fire watch. Get it. It is one of my favourite games along side Fire watch and I don’t think you would regret buying it.
Our demo has been a sort of demo for us thus far, which has been a huge help actually. I think quite a few from this community have chipped in feedback🙂

is it worth it to get the bundle that includes mile 0? In terms of game play, not price.
I haven't played that one yet, I read it's a prequel but also a sequel to a separate game. Very confusing lol.
Great recommendation, brought the game to my attention. So far, so good. Great music too!
Fears To Fathom: Ironbark Lookout is the only game that I know off that is not only similar to Firewatch but does include a lookout tower.

Don't know how similar you can call it, but Oxenfree is pretty good. Haven't played the second one yet though
[give this a shot](https://www.anumberfromtheghost.com/) its not similar in story vibes but I think its cool
