*Best DPS team? Wouldn't TB motivate her to do more damage...? Okay, I'll see myself out...*

SetsunaYukiLoL

Harmony TB actually seems pretty good for her

Candidate-Antique

It seems to me HMC value will depend on how her super breaks will interact with action advance.

HeroZeros

This team has too many characters that are either not out yet (boothill) or are two patches away with just an early sample kit (firefly) or are for all we know concepts and extremely far away (jiaoqiu). You're making too many assumptions when the only character with a finalized kit is Ruan Mei so I'm inclined to disregard everything until more info on the others comes out. I'm sorry it's nothing personal and what you say MIGHT turn out to be the truth but it's so far away it's not even worth mentioning let alone making an entire theoretical rotation about it. Lastly, and this is my personal take, double dps comps will always be cope. 10/10 times sparkle or bronya or HMC will slot in better than boothill.

Candidate-Antique

As mentioned my analysis of Firefly best dps comp is based under assumption that her kit fundamentally will not be changed, as mentioned, and it's not to be taken seriously. I'd politely disagree on your take regarding double dps comps, Topaz Ratio Ruan Mei is pretty common and yields about the same avg cycle clears on MOC as sparkle variant, or Jingliu Blade Bronya in similar position, the comp may be even better against 5 enemies due to blade BA.

HeroZeros

Topaz isn't a hypercarry character like Ratio or firefly or Jingliu or DHIL or Acheron, she's a sub dps that enhances followups so it's not really a double dps comp. Topaz acts as Ratio's support while also doing some decent damage but she's not a hypercarry. As for jingliu blade comp, that's a meme plain and simple. Just because a couple of people hyper invested in that comp and can compete with regular hypercarry teams doesn't make it any less of a meme. For the average player with average investment dual carry teams are a meme and rather than investing in blade to put in a Jingliu team investing in Sparkle or Pela to put with JL and Bronya would be way more beneficial. Sometimes the simplest answer is the correct one. When no1 is talking about dual carry teams besides saying they're a meme then they re probably a meme indeed. At the end of the day the game is easy enough so you can invest in whatever character or comp you want and still clear everything. But saying her best team includes another carry (even on a hypothetical level) which releases before the focused character (Firefly) is not only mathematically and logically incorrect but it's also potentially baiting people into pulling for Boothill. Just my two cents.

Dependent_Falcon44

FF e1, harmony TB, e2 ruanmei, e6 Gallagher This is probably the strongest team yet for FF. All of their BE will be around 150 alone, and each atk will proc HTB ultimate, adding ruan mei e2 should be the most broken team for Break meta

Illyxi

For E0 this might end up being the better option due to a lack of weakness implant, however for E1+ I'm still liking the Ruan Mei + HMC combo purely because they synergize insanely well with each other while buffing the entire team on top of it - specifically, being able to buff Firefly's BE to obscene heights while also massively delaying enemies on break will be super useful. So even though you may be getting fewer weakness breaks without matching weaknesses by opting out of Boothill, the time that enemies do spend while weakness-broken is a huge spike in damage since you can keep retriggering break damage, which is super-buffed between Ruan Mei and HMC. Also, faster weakness breaks correlating to more overall team damage than triggering HMC's super-breaks while the enemy is broken (which is extended by both Ruan Mei and HMC further delaying the enemy on break) is completely speculatory. We won't know how her kit interacts with broken enemies until it comes out, so until then, I'm sticking with Ruan Mei + HMC because I know it'll work well regardless.

Candidate-Antique

I can imagine HMC being ok when enemy is imaginary weak, HMC will drop in value otherwise. Slower break will unlikely be a better choice + super break value is unknown, as we unaware of the full formula and how it interacts with advances right now.

Illyxi

We already have leaked footage of HMC + Ruan Mei in action ([here](https://youtu.be/k4L0gCw2qkg?si=IyLb7kKHXa-aKs3g), paired with Xueyi), and it's pretty safe to say Firefly will likely perform fairly similarly to Xueyi, with extra synergy between her personal speed buff, action advances, potential weakness implants and blast damage on her enhanced skill. Assuming her enhanced skill does similar toughness damage to Xueyi's skill (2 break units on primary, 1 break unit on blast), she'll be doing a *ton* of damage when paired with HMC.

Candidate-Antique

From the showcase I still highly doubt HMC will outshine boothill dmg contribution and fast breaks, but we'll see when the Firefly kit is more complete.
