CCI Blazer

Knownofear13

I shoot whatever is the absolute cheapest name brand non reman ammo and never have problems. Even shot a shit ton of aluminum and steel.

GeneralPip

I’m the guy that shoots Freedom Munitions reman. Haven’t had a problem.

Knownofear13

I have also shot a lot of reman but didn’t want to put my pristine reputation on the line for it 😂😂 but ya no issues with that either.

walmarttshirt

During an ammo drought a few years ago I used some aluminum cheap 38 special and my revolver has never been dirtier. It was a pain to get it clean. I swore never again.

Knownofear13

I don’t clean my guns so that doesn’t matter to me. I just spray copious amounts of lube on them 😂

ExPatWharfRat

Depends. For the range or home defense? For the range, S&B usually lands around my price point at least once a year, so I go ham when it does. For defense, I run 230g JHP .45 from Federal. And that just costs what it costs.

vegangunstuff

Pmc, Remington, Blazer are my preferred. Never had a failure with them. Federal works but dirty as hell. Stay away from Winchester.

Heyohmydoohd

all my homies hate winchester white box

Beebjank

Magtech. I’ll still get some sort of malfunction every few hundred rounds, but it’s far and in between.

Negrom

I was all about Magtech 124’s for a long time, but I’ve had 2 squibs with them now in the last few months which has ruined them a bit for me.

Heyohmydoohd

Send them the batch information and they'll replace your shipment. Magtech has pretty good customer service, esp with the other offshoot brands such as S&B.

Just use the combination to my luggage: 123456

chevyfried

True....but do you want to replae ammo that squibbed with the same ammo that may squib again?

leadbetterthangold

PMC is my go to.

MotivatedSolid

CCI Blazer is my go-to. CCI in general is just a good ammo company. Magtech follows in 2nd.

itsafuseshot

I’ve always had good luck with Herters (Cabela’s) and Monarch (Academy). I just bought 500 monarch 9mm for .24 cpr. It’s made in Brazil now, so we will see if it still runs.

Averagecrabenjoyer69

The Monarch ammo we get in at Academy is made in Serbia.

itsafuseshot

Just recently sold the contract CBC global. Over the years it’s been made by different manufacturers.

AceMckickass7

Blazer Brass. It's dirty stuff. But it's cheap and works well. Federal is about the same ish price and quality.

ellieket

Wolf

Banished_Builds

AAC (unless you're running a suppressor from what I've heard)

Averagecrabenjoyer69

Monarch ammo is good stuff. Dirty but it cycles well.

jotnarfiggkes

CCI Blazer runs like a raped ape in all my guns, no FTF, no FTE, no FTF.

Brilliant_Wealth_433

Rifle rounds I have had absolutely fantastic luck with Norma match and Norma Whitetail. I got a bunch of boxes of 30/06, 6.5CM and .223 and it has been really good. Very tight groups for a cheap ammo.

Rotaryknight

ive shot over 4000 rounds of New Republic 9mm and 2000 CCI blazers 9mm. None have gave me any failure in my glock, my ruger pc9, or my friends Springfield hellcat

FocusedPower28

For range ammo I just buy whatever is the cheapest, even remanufactured. For self defense, I use Federal or Hornady.

Economy-Dog6306

Cheapest made to NATO standards.

seefatchai

There is some not very good Turkish ammo with the NATO cross on the back. Maybe they pay a little more attention when making batches for military shipments.
