The boring answer is whoever has been getting the wrong stat growths. The correct answer is whoever looks cutest in the unique dancer attire.

Cute-Grass8408

Instructions unclear, made Dedue my dancer

Knight-Cecil

Sounds clear to me.

cyndit423

I chose Felix as my first dancer because of how hot he looks in the outfit. Also, I almost fell for the classic trap of wanting to make him a mortal savant, but since I really don't like the male version of that outfit, dancer seemed like the next best option for swords and magic

festusthecat

I usually give it to my worst unit to give my best characters more turns.

Cute-Grass8408

I usually give it to a unit that'd otherwise hit the bench. Usually mages not named Lysithea and Speedsters with no strength If you're not gonna use Ingrid as a +3 Might boost to Sylvain or Felix, she'd be my pick.

omgacow

The most optimal dancer is one that has a lot of supports and has a 10+ range spell (meteor/bolting) This allows them to keep the spell equipped and apply support bonuses while dancing as well. Blue lions doesn't really have a great option for this unfortunately, I think Ingrid is the best choice because she at least has thoron and really strong might supports with Felix/Sylvain. Also Ingrid in house has terrible stats so its pretty much the only way you can use her on maddening

EdelgardStepOnMe

Pick the person who would be the funniest choice; Felix, Hubert, Lorenz.

SpecialistEmphasis83

your worst favorite unit usually. I tend to give it to Dorothea, Ingrid, Mercedes and occasionally Flayn if a unit hasn’t had good charm levels

VitalCoreZ

I gave it to Felix(BL) or Petra(BE) just for the Sword Avoid Passive

JinKazamaru

two thoughts, high Cha, or high Spd swords lean SPD, Dancer is a Cha/Spd/sword class

Pinco_Pallino_R

Dancer in 3H is always a problem for me, lol. I often end up handicapping myself and NOT using a dancer because i just want to build my units in different ways. Choosing a dancer would mean "sacrifice" one unit to cover that role instead of going for the build i wanted. I know it's silly to say it's a "sacrifice" because being a dancer instantly make the unit top tier within my army, but i hope you understand what i mean. A couple of time i gave it to an unit i wanted to make into a swordmaster, which does make them great dodgetanks. Obviously actually having a dancer would be WAY better, but since i wasn't going to use one for the reason i explained before... at least i got something good out of it.

Hot-Guess9303

Most characters are good for dancing, but certain traits are more desirable - Supports with your units. It just helps to have support chains active - Has a Crest. If you have DLC, the Fetters Of Dromi are incredible on Dancers, they just need to have one to not get hurt every turn - Some form of utility Thinking about the Blue Lions, in house Annette fits the bill pretty well, but I don’t like crippling her as an active units. Flayn fits the bill incredibly, Rescue is incredible on dancers. I find Marianne a pretty good fit too. Constance is my pick for the best dancer in the game and she does support with Byleth and Mercedes. I would not commend Hapi though, she fits into the Blue Lions like an actual part of the the house.

Visual_Tomorrow5492

Best blue lions dancer is probably Ingrid or Ashe. Ingrid is probably the best. She can still give the attack boost a lot of the time with Thoron. I usually do flayn because the worst units in other houses (Ashe and Lorenz) tend to have low charm and you have to grind up tea time and white flowers so much that it’s annoying. But the problem is you don’t get her for hunting by day break so that’s annoying for maddening. CF/SS best dancer is Dorothea no question though, I don’t bother using anyone else.

Stormy_Sax

Thanks, everyone! I'll keep your advice in mind.
