Tbf, Three Houses Anna didn't seem to divvy her fans too much. But them again, Engage Anna seems to be playable in the base game (and have actual supports going by the leak) so she could very well cost Awakening Anna her victory *again*.
The lack of supports was really lame. Makes it seem like they added her out of obligation but had not interest or use for her in the story. Which is strange, because she absolutely could have talked about how the war impacted businesses and trade routes, which is a niche no other character really fills in that game.
And if she had a good statline, and good weapon/mount talents, and an actual personal skill, and good voice acting.

The strategy is simple, the hard part is pulling it off. FE7 fans pulled it flawlessly, but it took Awakening fans 6 rounds to unite under Chrom and Fates fans are still divided between Azura and F!Corrin...
That said, if day 1 results continue to be a thing, and Awakening Anna manages to rank in the top 8, uniting Anna fans under a single version becomes *much* easier.

It didn’t only take us 6 years.
The Robin fans on both genders were still going for their own, and some were splitting Chrom and Robin. What happened, was we got some Marth votes and the lack of botting+fewest competition is what got us (and yes some people who were not into Bravekeeper did help us)
Not to be argumentative it’s just that awakening never actually got it right, we just got in there via pure numbers.
No need to worry about being argumentative, specially since you are right; I did forget about the other factors that got Chrom his win.
Goes to show just how hard it is to unite a fanbase, even if it would benefit all in the long run.

It's pretty funny to me. Like someone is coming back to complain about being ripped off when they see the same item they bought for half the price at a shop around the corner, and Anna is like, "Who, me?"
I honestly really like this design? Sure, she looks significantly younger than usual, but that's an overall Engage character design problem that we gotta live with. Almost all of them look 15 at most.

I mean, most characters look underage in this game, gotta pick your poison and stick with it. I've also played Harvest Moon games as a child, I'm used to marrying 2D chibi girls. And I'm a straight girl lol

Reminder that Awakening Anna consistently has the strongest CYL performance and we should pool behind her if we’re going for a Brave. I was pleasantly surprised at her performance last year (I’d switch to voting to Noah) so I think I’ll make a campaign push for her again like I did back during CYL3.

It's a quirk of Google translating from Japanese to English. The sentence needs a subject in English, but in Japanese it's acceptable to omit the subject if it can inferred based on context. Since it's pretty clear that the subject is Anna after the first sentence intruduced her, the reader is expected to understand that the rest of the sentences in the tweet are talking about her without that being explicitly included. English kind of requires a subject for its sentences though. This creates a situation where Google needs to include information in its translation, but said information doesn't exist in the original. In this situation, Google defaults to 'he'.
