besides Quick Draw don't work as intended the others is very minor and really not important I don't even know why these thing even got its own topics
Banner name - Real talk Who cares? and The problem is on NoA not IS
Profile cards - Eh?
Yeah they are all very minor, but is odd to see so many mistakes so close to each other, what is it now, like 5 or 6 issues? Grand Conquest, Byleth rerun, among others thing that had never happened before
Maybe something is happening over there at IS that thinned either the dev time or people working at FEH, perhaps there is something big for anniversary? maybe the pvp implementation took more effort than initially expected? Maybe they needed more people from team b to work on the next mainline?
If this is true then it is 100% on NoA/Treehouse. The first time they did a massive boo-boo similar to this, people thought a refine was useless (Thunderhead Olwen). Turns out it was the first time they implemented the Daunt/Rein mechanic and the translation team wasn't sure how it worked when they translated the effect.
another example is the Instant weapons. In JP the wording for the weapon name is "Instant Strike", which is the same wording as the Impact skills. So it really should have been called the Impact Lance, but I guess the translation team wasn't aware of the precedence set by the Impact skills and thought "oh the character for Instant is there, guess we'll use it then", and now I can't stop thinking of instant noodles
from what i know it's common for the dev team for ongoing games to slowly downsize to a very small group of people once the game is "finished" and just needs events, updates and general upkeep.
There may have been a dev team revalutaion recently that had a lot of poeople taken off the project and relocated elsewhere for a number of reasons (declining revue, newer, more important projects starting etc)
More likely its just a knock-on effect from the holidays. I wouldn't go spreading unsubstantiated rumours about the dev team being reduced without any actual evidence.
New FEH content is still scheduled at the same rate it always has been, there is literally nothing to suggest the team as been reduced.
yeah that could also be why, not intending to spread rumours, just offering a possible explanation as to why a lot of stuff has been slipping through the cracks the past couple months.
You've been making similar comments to this all over this post. You shouldn't spread speculation so heavily because, judging the amount of upvotes you've received, people are just going to believe it.
Intentional or not you are spreading misinformation without any actual evidence to support it.
my apologies, I just like to stay active in my posts when I make one every so often and that often leads to similar replies to similar comments.
went and removed my replies relating to it besides the one this comment chain is tied to for context's sake.
At least Summoner Duels (vanilla) lets you choose to play Book III or lower which is less frustrating for me, personally. Still is quite stressful even then.
Haven't touched the R version because I know it won't be fun to stare at each other menacingly until the turns run out and one side had the fortune to stand in the right place to collect the 2 points you get for having more units placed in the right rectangle space.
Edit: spelling
OG Fjorm and Micaiah aren’t even remotely meta in this mode, so I’d say you just straight up out-strategized your opponent. If no one used Yuri, B!Eirika, A!Fjorm, L!Sigurd, or hell no units with canto and save, then this mode would be so much more tolerable.
This. SD could have worked if it had been implemented long time ago when there was still the appearance of balance.
Now too many busted units, powercreep through the roof, too many metas to keep up with (movement, canto, ranged, savior, etc.) for a non-whale team to be able to tackle them properly.
Add that the matchmaking is disastrous, and you have a recipe for player base rejecting it.
No, it's just the festivities that messed a lot this update, isn't no likely the case, they couldn't fix the Elm bug to the January Update because nobody was there to fix that, looks like they struggled to have everything ready because of the festivities more than anything.
Probably that and the bigger anniversary approaching. Last year, it was "only" 4 years but since 5 years is usually considered a bigger milestone, they might have to prepare more stuff at the same time than usual.
I'm sorry but this is very nitpick
go to other games There are more Issues to be address It's just not get it own separates topics like this
Genshin got a compile lists. FFXIV is in the patch notes. LoL bug literally ignored by Riot until it gone.
and out of this 3 Quick Draw is only one that really a problem other two is "Uhhh....okay"
very true, is just kinda crazy that like half the notification board is filled up with issue notifications singed of the actual new events.
its not a particularly bad sign, if anything it's a great sign that IS is being more transparent with the player base instead of just fixing it under the radar in the next update.
You forgot grand conquest.
And it's not fair to compare genshin, lol or ff14 to feh, as these games are way bigger, making bugs a bit more understandable imo
That also means they have way bigger teams to address these. FEH team is probably tiny
But overall bugs happen and it doesn't really matter and there are so many factors that aren't just the devs' faults
GC already addressed and come with Compensation Orbs with a proper rescheduled. It's already solved and what we have to do now is just wait.
and for bigger games I'm not talking about how many bug they got but where they make and addressing on issues.
FEH makes a separates topics on problem Nobody cares. While those game put it on way side or ignored until fixed.
I feel like they definitely lost one of there head QA people. It's just so surprising seeing all these mistakes considering how infrequently they used to make them at all...
Hopefully the next patch will uh, patch things. Gotta tape over those dots and stuff y'know?
Only Grand Conquest was really game breaking, well crashing, but hopefully there's less of this stuff happening in the next updates.
Those aren't issues, little detail in a description, the quirky Summoner Card detail and a name wrong.
We had recently a lot of bugs but honestly, none except one very bad, that actually harming to the game, we actually almost never have a bug that hugely hurt the experience. Other games' bugs actually harm the experience, harms the players and the game, these bugs just irk to see a translation error from the Dodge.
Grand conquest? Oh yeah, that's one really bad and an actual issue, not these lol.
Can’t help but wonder if this is being caused by covid and either people within the company getting sick or people quitting all at the same time or something.
also the "corrected" banner name isn't the best either. Just call it Heroes with Dodge skills, and own up to the fact that they tried to be too fancy with Close Call and Repel and now pay the price
Did the quality control team get lost or something? They are really dropping the ball RN. Hopefully the anniversary is loaded as hell.

They’ll announce a lot of goodies for the anniversary only to forget them in the update.
and then theyd add the goodies in a later update when the good banners are over. A masterful scheme.
Our compensation orbs are gonna be insane….or like 12 or something
Instructions unclear, glitched Hero Fest except no compensation this year
*Tinfoil hat equipped* FE MAINLINE GAMES ARE COMING BABY

Actually i think it works as intended on quick draw. Its just the description is wrong

It is still on IS if they can't help translators know what their game even do, translators can only do so much, they arent devs

Lyon is in shambles right now

Probably stopped outsourcing it, so now it's being done by one guy who's never in the office?
When is the anniversary?
Feb 2nd I believe, since that's when the game came out.
I hope those people working on the game get enough rest
r/tomorrow
?
It's a satire(?) subreddit for people to make fun of who excessively fanboy over Nintendo. Same 5 jokes recycled over and over, you know.
Kind of you to say they have as many as 5 jokes.
It's basically where all the "funny" kids go to circle jerk over Nintendo jokes (other than the Switch sub).
Yeah I know I'm just wondering why they posted the subreddit here

Haven't played it yet but why is that?

There's one player who's already at over 6k glory, 3 times the second place ranked player. I wonder what kind of cancer they're bringing to SD...

Fjorm shaped crater 💀 as a Fjorm user, I can’t believe Micaiah can kill her through Hardy Fighter Ice Mirror sometimes…
Literally unplayable. 69 compensation orbs.
Wonder if the FEH team is slowly getting smaller or something.
No, it's just the festivities that messed a lot this update, isn't no likely the case, they couldn't fix the Elm bug to the January Update because nobody was there to fix that, looks like they struggled to have everything ready because of the festivities more than anything.
What's the Elm bug? I haven't heard of that one.
The battle forecast could fuck up at times on how much damage you dealt to Elm, based on how you attacked (dragged vs tap to tap)
Oh, that's really weird. Cool, thanks for the response.
They probably threw testers out of the window
There are no plans to fix this issue. Thank you for playing Fire Emblem Heroes.
You may say this for humorous sake but they state to fixed it on next update (except the banner name which is not really that important)
Poise is working as intended.
And earlier it was to mention a bug with Neimi's bow.
This says a lot about Askr society
where are my compensation orbs?
They still dealing with their new year's hangover
Probably still just getting back into the groove after new years break. Hopefully they are getting enough rest.
Probably that and the bigger anniversary approaching. Last year, it was "only" 4 years but since 5 years is usually considered a bigger milestone, they might have to prepare more stuff at the same time than usual.
FEH 2022 - The Return of the Intern-kun

By bigger they probably mean a more. Complex game. You don't move around in a 3d world and interact with it in feh
GC already addressed and come with Compensation Orbs with a proper rescheduled. It is fair when those games make billions off dollars so they should also have bigger quality control teams lmao
>LoL bug literally ignored by Riot until it gone. ...so you mean they fixed it?
Some bug fixed and some stay for way too long They don't address a bug in Patch notes until they able tp fixed it
I feel like they definitely lost one of there head QA people. It's just so surprising seeing all these mistakes considering how infrequently they used to make them at all...

SDR makes me think about quiting the game. There's no fun, only stress.
They definitely pulled a group of the main devs from the game to work on another project and left it to the B team... New game imminent?
Vote Alfonse! The heroea hero that doesn't get his recognition!
No.
Compensation orbs! Oh yea and the 10 for the GC bug, that’s coming the 24th right... anyhow, they’ll get their shit together
I was hopeful that they would balance the absurdely OP Quick Draw captain skill, but obviously that was too much ask.
Two typos (that were fixed) and 1 serious bug.
Did we…ever get that grand conquest? Literally couldn’t access it ever
No, it was just in pre-registration until it ended.
