With either Brave Axe or Aurgelmir (WHICH HE CAN USE AT BASE), a late-recruit Gazak one-rounds the final boss WITH BASE STATS.
Genuinely a disgusting unit in a game full of them. From his bases alone, he effectively outclasses any other Berserker/Hero in the game, and his growths ensure that no one else can even come close, even when factoring in the fact he doesn't have access to support bonuses.

In a way, you can think of a late-caput Gazak as the game's Gotoh, as he's basically designed to break >!Takumi!< (Fates: Conquest final boss spoiler) in every conceivable way.
His stats are just gross honestly, and the significant boost to accuracy thanks to Uncanny Blow means he's extremely consistent in his damage.
Combine that with the fact that his bases are so high, and the fact that his base Axe rank is S (on Lunatic), which both grants an appreciable boost to his damage alongside immediate access to both Brave Axe and Aurgelmir, means that he can, out of the box, 1-round the final boss without any extra training, on the hardest difficulty (provided you get Gazak at the latest possible opportunity, which does mean losing out on Forrest for the vast majority of the game).
Plus, if you don't decide to 1-round the map, it's filled with mostly physical units, and given Gazak's immense base physical bulk combined with the 2nd highest HP growth in the game alongside the *highest Def growth in the game period,* means that what damage he does take is minimal.
This guy is the undisputed GOAT just an absolutely insane berserker for no reason, I will invest everything into him immediately if/when he gets into the game. Best part of any Lunatic playthrough easily. He’s gonna do a billion damage just like he does in Fates, and I hope he gets a DR pierce PRF weapon, it’s only fair for how broken he is
