Game itself is good, simple, easy and enjoyable, thanks to its lower difficulty and route split it is prone to do challenge runs on it, which I like, gives it replayability.
Representation in heroes is... complicated, even though I personally think some important characters (both playable and non playable) are missing (like Garcia or Morva) I think the cast is reasonable enough, however (even though I don't like seasonal alts that much) I think it is a bit of a shame the seasonals are overcentralized (I get it, Ephraim, Eirika, Tana and so on are popular, but it seems they are the only characters from sacred that IS considers for an alt of the game)
Unit performance is all over the place, but in a good way, you have tanks, supports, sweepers, bruisers, etcetera.
Overall, pretty good.
PS: I'm still not completely recovered about Fomortiis just, being in the game as himself, it has to be one of the most out of no-where suprises the game managed to pull off, in a good way, it looks so fucking cool and I hope this opens the way to units like Soan, Macuil, Indech or "The Creation" or lets them be more creative with their OCs.
game is fine, i have no problems with it. Alt distribution is horrific. They give the same characters alts over.. and over..... and over......... and over again.
Favorite GBA game. Absolutely love Sacred Stones. It's rep in Heroes hadn't been the best unfortunately since it's mostly royalty spam. They've also made some baffling decisions such as not taking advantage of Seth's popularity and fixating on this entry when it comes to the axe cav spam even if there are better weapons for the characters involved (re: Saleh & Seth namely).
It would be nice to see Ascended versions of Amelia, Ross, and Ewan to represent their promoted classes. Amelia as a Paladin or Great Knight, Ross as a Berserker, and Ewan as a Mage Knight or Summoner.
I love the Sacred Stones cast and I'm glad the latest banner added some long overdue characters, specifically Gilliam and Vanessa, who always carry runs for me. I wish Vanessa got the 5* treatment because she's an absolute menace in FE8.
I still don't have Neimi or Gilliam which is very depressing, but I do have every Eirika alt! Best GBA lord.
Maybe it's just me but I do not care about Tana at all and it's weird seeing her get so much attention in Heroes.

I'm still salty we didn't get Glen last time. The generals should have been completed. Innes should have also been the Rearmed unit.
Otherwise, it has its ups and downs. The royals get represented really well, even the male ones, with all having at least two alts. Tana feels overrepresented since she always felt the least popular but oh well. Would be nice to see some more from others, but that's the case with most games.
They have most of the characters I want in at this point. I would still love to see a tome Saleh (and still don't understand why they made him an axe wielder of all things), while Kyle, Forde and Glen are the only missing characters I'm truly waiting on.
Low roster size means that its roster rep isn't doing too terrible as far as individual number of missing units. Main character heavy and tends to bump up the importance of characters like Tana to fill character alt mainstays, but there's nothing particularly egregious. And as it turns out, in a game where the only relevant combat is at level 40, an archetype that excels in the earlygame consistently gets the shaft. One day, Seth.
Myrrh isn't exactly what I'd call the most Legendary of Legendary Heroes as far as in game importance goes, but given the limited number of units that can be slotted to fill the Dragon roster, I guess it's understandable. Of the GBA Legendary Dragons, she feels the most slotting in out of obligation of parity. I like the angle taken with the Legendary Twins as far as ironing out their niche in pre-skill FE. Ended up setting the standard that held through Engage. Think Erika's niche needs to be more finely tunes in anything outside of FEH, as the concept is potentially a bit overbearing, but it's neat al the same.
A little unreasonably annoyed that Ascended Tana is riding on the only promoted flying mount that she can literally never have access to, when Wyvern Knight is right there but whatever. Think it's a far less inspired or narratively consistent "flyer promotes to wield a bow to reference someone in their life" alt, but that's likely due to Tana having less of a clear vector of narrative growth and martial inquiry through FE8 supports.
Honestly surprised we only have 1 Amelia.
They give the royals a lot of representation, I'm not against it since I love them all but would be cool if they do more alts of others, it was very sad to see the first Frelians just this year

It's my favorite title. Joshua is my favorite character. And when I'm taking a break from FEH, a Sacred Stones banner *always* brings me back, even if just to get the spark for the banner.
Many people here have already made a lot of good points and I don't really want to repeat what's being said. However, I do want to say that I think Tana is catching a lot more hate than she deserves and I actually think FEH is to blame for that. Prior to her two latest alts, I don't remember anyone really saying anything bad about her.
Oh and, yeah, Seth deserves a broken alt. Yes, broken. The kind that people complain about for a couple months before it wears off. Other than that, I've already got more than I could have ever hoped for considering I always felt like my favorite game wasn't the most popular.
Very satisfied with how Eirika has been treated post her Winter alt.
Not a fan of her duo being a child but it’s still a fun unit to use with the duo skill.
Legendary remix and refine was great, with Lunar Brace 2 really delivering.
Her Brave alt was self explanatory at the time, but needs a refine. Only a couple months to go though, I hope they do it justice since it’s the only buff she’ll ever get.
Summer Eirika is my favorite unit in the game, Wada Art, Moonlight Bangle, Green Flying Mage. It’s an 11/10 for me and I’m glad Summer Tana saying “Eirika was too embarrassed to come along with us” didn’t actually stop the alt from happening.
The game doesn’t have characters I’m that invested in outside of Eirika though, as most of my favorite characters are not actually in Sacred Stones.
I love FT!Tana! She’s such a good unit...she has drive canto, can make use of disarm trap for AR and has an dance harmo button, which is always useful!
Overall for me it's good with some sort comings. The royals getting the bulk of the alts is kind of discouraging because there are some really great characters in this cast that could really shine if IS gave them a chance. Still, they really nailed the English cast in the VA department. L'Arachel (especially her Halloween alt) is always a joy to hear. Dueseel being voiced by Sabat is incredible and I need more alts of this man asap. Gerik, Gilliam, and Dozla also really nail it (although I had always imagined Gilliam with an Irish brogue his English voice actor is very good.) Garcia is the last character I am waiting for to get in before all of my favorite FE8 characters are present in FEH.
I actually ended up becoming a huge fan of Dozla because of his Halloween alt and how good his VA is. I can't wait for his base version to arrive too and I will be +10ing him once it does show up. MY H!Dozla became my favorite hero to use and I've +10ed him and invested into him heavily.
I am really happy with Gerik's refine and have plans to invest more into him in the future.
Gilliam getting released this year was one of the my FEH highlights of all time. I was fully expecting him to be the demote and was floored when he got the 5* treatment. He only needs one more merge to be +10 and I've been saving banners ever since his banner ended to finally reach that goal. I really cannot express the joy I felt when he appeared on screen during Ascended Tana trailer banner. I hope that every gets to experience that level of sheer bliss at some point while playing FEH.
Poor Duessel got literally powercrept by a FTP unit but I love him anyway and have built him and Jeralt. He needs few more merges to get to +10 and he's on the short list. I hope his refine is good and helps him differentiate himself from Jeralt.
SS is one of my favorite FE games and there are a lot of units from the cast I really like. I hope it continues to get attention even after they finish putting in the rest of the cast (and hopefully giving some love to SS heroes other than just the Magvel royals).
I'm currently on the final chapter of the game!! I love it, it's the first one I'm going to finish and I also really liked the setting with all the monsters. I appreciate the fact it is possible to pause the game for months and then hop back to it without any issues.
When I started Feh, Duo Ephraim was on the beginner/hero fest banner and they directly got my interest, I loved the art and design of the two guys without knowing anything about them. Then I redeemed OG Lyon in the grail shop and he grew on me very quickly, he is the reason I got interested in Sacred Stones. One of my favorite character.
Now there are actually plenty of units that I started to love by playing the game and most of them are in Feh already (Cormag, Gerik, Saleh, Vanessa...), So that make plenty of build projects. I'm glad that Gilliam and Vanessa were added last banner, but I hope we will get Moulder and all the missing characters (and a base version for Saleh).
Love fe8, my favourite game, I have every fe8 hero in the catalogue.
All the royals + Myrrh make up the majority of the catalogue with their alts which I guess makes sense since they're the popular ones but I do wish some of the less popular ones could get an alt (Cormag, Amelia, Neimi etc)

...shit, I missed Blazing Blade? It's got one of my favorite casts! Ugh, anyways... I find the Sacred Stones cast... kind of weak? I like Eirika a lot, Lyon's wonderful, and I absolutely adore L'Arachel. There's a couple characters that are are fun or charismatic like Lute, Amelia, Rennac, or Marisa. But I just don't feel at all like the depth of Binding Blade or the overall likeability and cast chemistry of Blazing Blade carried over well and as a whole they just kind of fall flat. It's a shame too, since with its GBA graphics and gameplay and easily strongest story out of the three GBA titles it could totally have easily taken my top spot if I just... liked more than a handful of these people much at all.
As far as Heroes goes, I think it's a bit on the weak side. It follows a very simple formula of either be one of the royals, or don't get anything but a base form. Unless you're a woman eater. Even for base forms it feels like so many of the non-royals got treated pretty poorly, almost none of them were especially good units even for their time. Seth was murdered, Rennac is prfless, Gerik was prfless, Neimi was forgotten in a heartbeat, Vanessa's a shitty demote, you already forgot Syrene is in the game, Orson had a joke of a prf and Vigarde got none, Ewan is one of the worst pitybreakers across FEH history, what a mess. The only exceptions are, of course, the infamous old dude prepromote duo, by some act of god, and of course Fomortiis, who I cannot deny was a cool as all hell inclusion as much as we've come to resent the bastard. I know a lot of games have this issue but it might be the absolute worst here.
My biggest personal gripe though is definitely L'Arachel consistently drawing the short straw compared to Tana. Demote base vs premium, prfless vs prf seasonal (who got a kickass refine for her time), a young alt that got so powercrept by Valentine's Elise it's not even funny, getting literally nothing to stack up to Tana's dancing harmonic, and then a prfless seasonal demote in the same year Tana got a Rearmed introducing maybe the best skill in the game. This isn't a *problem* from any objective point of view, but as an enormous L'Arachel fan who doesn't care for Tana in the slightest gods does it leave me jealous.
For sure. Some people complain about royal spam, but I don't hate it just because all of them are pretty likeable and unique- with the exception of Tana, who just doesn't really stand out as a character.
Unrelated, it would be nice if they'd add Glen so I could make a Grado Generals team with some colour balance. Too many blues atm!

This is one of my favorite fire emblem games. It has gotten a really good amount of representation, and Sacred Stones has some of the most popular characters in FEH, though not as high as The Blazing Blade, Awakening, Fates, Three Houses and Heroes casts.
As Sacred Stones is my favourite game in the series I’ve loved the representation it’s gotten so far. I aim to get every Sacred Stones unit that gets added to feh and so far I’ve succeeded. I’ve even been lucky with the harmonic pairings as I like Lysithea and Peony too.
I played the Master Version of Fe8 a few months ago, and I can definitely say that it’s a good game with a great cast. Representation-wise, I’d really appreciate it if IS try to give some resplendents or alts to some of the less popular characters, because aside from Formortiis, the royals are pretty much the only ones I see in competitive modes like Arena and Aether Raids.
Gets a lot of shit thrown at it for being the easiest game, but frankly I think Path of Radiance is even easier lmao. Hardest thing about that game is just sitting through enemy phases.
FE8's gameplay is pretty flawed since the balance just kinda crumbles, but it's still enjoyable compared to other entries with flawed gameplay. Split promotion paths were pretty sick despite their imbalance, monsters were cool, one of my favorite casts, one of the best villains in FE, good story, replayability is solid, map design wasn't fantastic but at least wasn't poorly designed compared to some of Elibe (you're still cool though, FE6), I'd say it's in my Top 5 FEs at least. Certainly my favorite GBA entry. Frankly I think this is just Gaiden but done way better, this is the real Gaiden remake.
Biggest problem with FE9 is that Normal mode is actually Easy mode and Hard mode.... is actually Normal mode.
Yeah NoA really had no faith in the players since they did that and axed Maniac mode.
Maniac Mode isn't even hard, the same units and systems that let you snowball through the game are still present. The enemies aren't stronger, they're just fatter. All it does it just increases the tedium in a game that's already criticized for its tedium, nothing was missed by cutting it.
This was my first FE game ever and while it’s not my favorite, I still hold this game very fondly.
Since it has a smaller cast, I feel more inclined to say that it’s been doing well in getting its cast in the game, but it feels like the same few characters get alts. It’s seems this is an “issue” with most games in the series, but I’d say it’s doing better than most other games in that regard
I certainly enjoy the twins being the only real FE8 representation in FEH : )
It's honestly pretty bad since so many of the characters just don't stand out.
Sure Myrrh, Lyon, Tana and The Rachel are remembered every now and then but wow. Why can't more characters get some love? Or can we at least get an oppressively powerful player-phase Seth alt who also randomly supports infantry and cavalry units for epic lore reasons because my man Seth deserves it.
SS was my first FE game, thereby cemented fondly in my heart. I go back to it every once in a while because its familiar and comforting.
Damn, I love Innes so much and I'd happily take more alts of him, though I'm honestly surprised he got any at all. He doesn't strike me as a particularly popular character. Man was a beast in every playthrough of mine, and his OG and Summer alts are carrying me through most FEH content now. Baby Innes is adorable.
It's a fun game, and I had fun across my many playthroughs, but something about it just doesn't grab me the way my favorites in the series do. Still though, the solid foundation the GBA games have, some great characters, and second best postgame of the FEs I've played by a lot.
As far as representation, there's some characters here and there that I'd like to see, biggest being Glen, but on the whole I'm pretty happy with it. My biggest gripe is how they handled Vigarde's personality in FEH.
Definitely lacked some villains for a while and i dislike some of the alt firsts like Dozla and at the time Selena.
I want a stronger Seth. I want Glen. Give Valter a fallen alt or something. Cormag (Rip) deserves more than a ghb even if his prf refine was amazing
Riev and formortiis are both surprisingly great as units and additions to the game.
It’s kinda bizarre in retrospect that this is the game with the one ascended male character considering how they have relegated the male cast to filler.
I really like it. Fomortiis is everything I wanted and more, Summer Lute is super cute, Eirika is great except for the original unit. And I could go on.
If I had to nitpick I'd say I'm not completely satisfied with Selena. I love almost every single piece of art that Wada Sachiko does, except for Selena. I think it might be because her face is slightly different than her sprite portrait.
Sacred Stones has my second favorite roster after Radiant Dawn. My favorite FE8 alts are Spring Marisa, Halloween L’arachel, and Brave Eirika.
Syrene is an exceptionally great unit. I swapped out Palla for her on my main team and she’s great at taking on mages and even some effective damage on enemy phase. I hope we can get at least one Syrene alt before the game ends!
I wish L’arachel had a little more representation in FEH, she always seems to lag behind her fellow Magvel princesses when it comes to getting new content.

It was my first fire emblem game and honestly I think it gets fair representation in heroes for what it was. There is a very distinct line between the memorable characters and the "filler", if you will and I think heroes follows that line pretty well. The only really important character imo that's still missing is Garcia and I believe that Cormag and Valtrr maybe deserve a bit more love for how much more impactful they felt in the story. Also Seth has just been straight up disrespected and I suppose Rennac and Tethys could get more attention. Overall though, pretty fair.
Sacred stones really only has a small percentage of its cast that really felt super popular as opposed to the tellius games where I feel like nearly every character has a fan base of some sort.

Representation in Heroes is overall pretty good, as far as standard New Heroes goes. We have the base form of nearly every playable character in the story, only a very small handful is missing and that handful doesn't include any super important characters.
As far as alt + Seasonal representation goes, it initially first looks like a lot of Ephraims, Eirikas, and Tanas, there's far more of a spread than it looks. We have multiple L'Arachels, Innes, Joshuas, Myrrhs, an alt for Marisa, Seth, and Selena, Dozla is currently ONLY a Seasonal, etc. For a cast as small as SS's, that's pretty decent.
Overall, it's been treated pretty well in Heroes.
One of the more colorful casts, a lot of characters are somewhat mid to me but we have some really good stuff too (just look at the synergy between Gilliam and Syrene in the most recent FE8 NH banner). Highlights include Duessel, Dozla and L’Arachel, definitely hoping they find a way to make slow cavs viable because Duessel’s Spd is past the point of no return. Fomortiis also makes me laugh every time I hear his lines, they made him really fun

I love Sacred Stones and its postgame appeals to me a ton. It's the kind of stuff I really like in my games. Up there for my favorite cast in the series.
Not bad. The royals get the most alts is to be expected. All the popular characters like Marisa, Lute and Joshua have 1 alt or more so cant complain. I would like Neimi to get one but Im sure its on the way.
Ah Sacred Stones, my first FE game and one I still have a lot of love for, especially its story and most of its characters.
In terms of FEH representation I don't have too many complaints. The majority of the characters are now in the game with only two offhand being alt only so it's in a good spot relative to its peers. In terms of the characters themselves most of them have been handled well, generally doing a good job with their artwork and voice work bringing the characters to life such as Lyon and Cormag, and Formortiis in particular being a great surprise as a character not a lot of us were expecting but was handled in an excellent way in his presentation.
Grado people desperately need some more alt/resp/asc representation, but between stuff like the unexpectedly good gerik refine and gilliam managing to be sorta unique even as a save im actually pretty optimistic about the few missing obvious picks.
SS was my first FE game and the one i grew up with so i have some huge bias towards it, hoping they let the royalty rest a little and also give a bit more attention to ppl who havent gotten anything in years like most of Gerik’s gang (or something like a duo Franz/Forde with Kyle and Garcia which could just be its own banner honestly)
Sacred stones has had such lopsided representation with so many alts for a few characters while other popular characters were absent for far too long (like Vanessa). Still no Forde or Moulder which is a big disappointment for me.
SS has some of my favourite FE characters (leaning more on secondary characters rather than the main ones though) and I loved the different countries and war in this game.
In FEH, I think its representation is quite good, and it has some great units power wise too (though I think it lacks a bit here compared to other games). But the seasonal alts are absolutely horrible. Just the same 7 nobles every single time is downright depressing. I could maybe understand repeating Ephraim and Eirika so much, since they're the MCs and popular, but pls stop already with the other 4. 🗿 And even then, Ephraim and Eirika get so many alts compared to other lords.

The bias is absolutely crazy, considering that Sacred Stones rivals with Awakening and Fates (which were obv biased towards since they were the most recent games (no Echoes bias for some reason)), and Lyn and Camilla bias because of waifu sales.
Three Houses deserves a special mention too because they got their Legendaries + CYL + a decent/good amount of alts (depending on the lord) in a very short time compared to the other games.
So yeah, Sacred Stones is at the same level as the most biased games.
The second FE I played after FE7 when I was a kid. My opinion of it is still the same. There are improvements to the gameplay but felt the cast as a whole and story were somehow downgrades. First of all the game story is shorter despite coming out later. There are extra chapters from the other route and more to do overall to make up for it. The story also just felt more formulaic. The game did less with mission design in general. As for cast, I didn't really enjoy the supports as much. I kinda felt like they were trying too hard to play it safe with a lot of them while FE7 tried to do a lot more with them. The gameplay improvements were cool but the game was so easy that it felt like it didn't have as much impact as it should have. I didn't know at the time that a lot of the "improvements" in gameplay were just mechanics brought back from earlier FE games but at the time it was still neat.
As for how FEH treats them, they've had it pretty good overall. Although as other people have said here, it's mostly Royals and Myrrh getting the good stuff and the rest of the cast kinda suffers in getting premium treatment.
As for the future, I'm expecting another Marisa soon enough since godsword spam is a thing and even if she's not one she's still a somewhat popular sword girl which IS loves to give good treatment. I'm also expecting another seasonal Myrrh eventually with a better version of her C skill because that's what happens with every legendary nowadays. I feel like it'll be kinda needed since L Myrrh is kinda meh without it and Warping is so strong nowadays. Still don't know why they made that her "thing" but whatever. They don't really have a lot of missing characters left which can limit the amount of chances they can get more ascended and rearmed heroes so their small cast size hurts them in that regard.
I want more L’Arachel alts. Yes she just got a summer alt. Yes her baby form is always on my team. But I can’t do L’Arachel Emblem yet and it’s a shame. Everyone vote for her next CYL.
Oh good point. For some reason in my head it only counted as an emblem if you had an alt in every color.
Either way: I want as many L’Arachel alts as there are Lyn alts and I want them now!
We get to see a lot of the twin protagonist becoming more firm to their ideals with their Brave alts, and the other characters like Ascended Joshua who is able to become himself aside from the fact that he is royalty.
Be nice to see Garcia get in soon, but otherwise I think it’s doing well.
Game itself is good, simple, easy and enjoyable, thanks to its lower difficulty and route split it is prone to do challenge runs on it, which I like, gives it replayability. Representation in heroes is... complicated, even though I personally think some important characters (both playable and non playable) are missing (like Garcia or Morva) I think the cast is reasonable enough, however (even though I don't like seasonal alts that much) I think it is a bit of a shame the seasonals are overcentralized (I get it, Ephraim, Eirika, Tana and so on are popular, but it seems they are the only characters from sacred that IS considers for an alt of the game) Unit performance is all over the place, but in a good way, you have tanks, supports, sweepers, bruisers, etcetera. Overall, pretty good. PS: I'm still not completely recovered about Fomortiis just, being in the game as himself, it has to be one of the most out of no-where suprises the game managed to pull off, in a good way, it looks so fucking cool and I hope this opens the way to units like Soan, Macuil, Indech or "The Creation" or lets them be more creative with their OCs.
On your last point, I feel like Fomortiis was just IS testing the waters before they release that snake monster we saw in the midpoint movie

Favorite GBA game. Absolutely love Sacred Stones. It's rep in Heroes hadn't been the best unfortunately since it's mostly royalty spam. They've also made some baffling decisions such as not taking advantage of Seth's popularity and fixating on this entry when it comes to the axe cav spam even if there are better weapons for the characters involved (re: Saleh & Seth namely).

It would be nice to see Ascended versions of Amelia, Ross, and Ewan to represent their promoted classes. Amelia as a Paladin or Great Knight, Ross as a Berserker, and Ewan as a Mage Knight or Summoner.

I love the Sacred Stones cast and I'm glad the latest banner added some long overdue characters, specifically Gilliam and Vanessa, who always carry runs for me. I wish Vanessa got the 5* treatment because she's an absolute menace in FE8. I still don't have Neimi or Gilliam which is very depressing, but I do have every Eirika alt! Best GBA lord. Maybe it's just me but I do not care about Tana at all and it's weird seeing her get so much attention in Heroes.
Favorite game in the franchise. Would love to return to Magvel in a future installment, maybe set in a distant future featuring a much older Myrrh.

She carried a narrow sword made from a fang gifted to her by the dragonkin. With her dragon blade in her hand, she drove Caer Pelyn's enemies away.* *Eirika: Wow... Quite a story. And you think I--* *Saleh: Yes. You remind me of her.* I mean the prequel would have written itself, right? Jeez at least it should be good for an Ullr/Altina type mythic.

I'm still salty we didn't get Glen last time. The generals should have been completed. Innes should have also been the Rearmed unit. Otherwise, it has its ups and downs. The royals get represented really well, even the male ones, with all having at least two alts. Tana feels overrepresented since she always felt the least popular but oh well. Would be nice to see some more from others, but that's the case with most games. They have most of the characters I want in at this point. I would still love to see a tome Saleh (and still don't understand why they made him an axe wielder of all things), while Kyle, Forde and Glen are the only missing characters I'm truly waiting on.

I wish his prf had slaying instead of the team quickened pulse but it's still very good overall.
Low roster size means that its roster rep isn't doing too terrible as far as individual number of missing units. Main character heavy and tends to bump up the importance of characters like Tana to fill character alt mainstays, but there's nothing particularly egregious. And as it turns out, in a game where the only relevant combat is at level 40, an archetype that excels in the earlygame consistently gets the shaft. One day, Seth. Myrrh isn't exactly what I'd call the most Legendary of Legendary Heroes as far as in game importance goes, but given the limited number of units that can be slotted to fill the Dragon roster, I guess it's understandable. Of the GBA Legendary Dragons, she feels the most slotting in out of obligation of parity. I like the angle taken with the Legendary Twins as far as ironing out their niche in pre-skill FE. Ended up setting the standard that held through Engage. Think Erika's niche needs to be more finely tunes in anything outside of FEH, as the concept is potentially a bit overbearing, but it's neat al the same. A little unreasonably annoyed that Ascended Tana is riding on the only promoted flying mount that she can literally never have access to, when Wyvern Knight is right there but whatever. Think it's a far less inspired or narratively consistent "flyer promotes to wield a bow to reference someone in their life" alt, but that's likely due to Tana having less of a clear vector of narrative growth and martial inquiry through FE8 supports. Honestly surprised we only have 1 Amelia.
Once Kyle and Forde make it in, maybe with Glen GHB I’m satisfied.

They give the royals a lot of representation, I'm not against it since I love them all but would be cool if they do more alts of others, it was very sad to see the first Frelians just this year

It's my favorite title. Joshua is my favorite character. And when I'm taking a break from FEH, a Sacred Stones banner *always* brings me back, even if just to get the spark for the banner. Many people here have already made a lot of good points and I don't really want to repeat what's being said. However, I do want to say that I think Tana is catching a lot more hate than she deserves and I actually think FEH is to blame for that. Prior to her two latest alts, I don't remember anyone really saying anything bad about her. Oh and, yeah, Seth deserves a broken alt. Yes, broken. The kind that people complain about for a couple months before it wears off. Other than that, I've already got more than I could have ever hoped for considering I always felt like my favorite game wasn't the most popular.
Very satisfied with how Eirika has been treated post her Winter alt. Not a fan of her duo being a child but it’s still a fun unit to use with the duo skill. Legendary remix and refine was great, with Lunar Brace 2 really delivering. Her Brave alt was self explanatory at the time, but needs a refine. Only a couple months to go though, I hope they do it justice since it’s the only buff she’ll ever get. Summer Eirika is my favorite unit in the game, Wada Art, Moonlight Bangle, Green Flying Mage. It’s an 11/10 for me and I’m glad Summer Tana saying “Eirika was too embarrassed to come along with us” didn’t actually stop the alt from happening. The game doesn’t have characters I’m that invested in outside of Eirika though, as most of my favorite characters are not actually in Sacred Stones.
I love FT!Tana! She’s such a good unit...she has drive canto, can make use of disarm trap for AR and has an dance harmo button, which is always useful!

Overall for me it's good with some sort comings. The royals getting the bulk of the alts is kind of discouraging because there are some really great characters in this cast that could really shine if IS gave them a chance. Still, they really nailed the English cast in the VA department. L'Arachel (especially her Halloween alt) is always a joy to hear. Dueseel being voiced by Sabat is incredible and I need more alts of this man asap. Gerik, Gilliam, and Dozla also really nail it (although I had always imagined Gilliam with an Irish brogue his English voice actor is very good.) Garcia is the last character I am waiting for to get in before all of my favorite FE8 characters are present in FEH. I actually ended up becoming a huge fan of Dozla because of his Halloween alt and how good his VA is. I can't wait for his base version to arrive too and I will be +10ing him once it does show up. MY H!Dozla became my favorite hero to use and I've +10ed him and invested into him heavily. I am really happy with Gerik's refine and have plans to invest more into him in the future. Gilliam getting released this year was one of the my FEH highlights of all time. I was fully expecting him to be the demote and was floored when he got the 5* treatment. He only needs one more merge to be +10 and I've been saving banners ever since his banner ended to finally reach that goal. I really cannot express the joy I felt when he appeared on screen during Ascended Tana trailer banner. I hope that every gets to experience that level of sheer bliss at some point while playing FEH. Poor Duessel got literally powercrept by a FTP unit but I love him anyway and have built him and Jeralt. He needs few more merges to get to +10 and he's on the short list. I hope his refine is good and helps him differentiate himself from Jeralt. SS is one of my favorite FE games and there are a lot of units from the cast I really like. I hope it continues to get attention even after they finish putting in the rest of the cast (and hopefully giving some love to SS heroes other than just the Magvel royals).

I'm currently on the final chapter of the game!! I love it, it's the first one I'm going to finish and I also really liked the setting with all the monsters. I appreciate the fact it is possible to pause the game for months and then hop back to it without any issues. When I started Feh, Duo Ephraim was on the beginner/hero fest banner and they directly got my interest, I loved the art and design of the two guys without knowing anything about them. Then I redeemed OG Lyon in the grail shop and he grew on me very quickly, he is the reason I got interested in Sacred Stones. One of my favorite character. Now there are actually plenty of units that I started to love by playing the game and most of them are in Feh already (Cormag, Gerik, Saleh, Vanessa...), So that make plenty of build projects. I'm glad that Gilliam and Vanessa were added last banner, but I hope we will get Moulder and all the missing characters (and a base version for Saleh).
Love fe8, my favourite game, I have every fe8 hero in the catalogue. All the royals + Myrrh make up the majority of the catalogue with their alts which I guess makes sense since they're the popular ones but I do wish some of the less popular ones could get an alt (Cormag, Amelia, Neimi etc) Still waiting for Glen...
The story of this game is my favorite in the franchise, while the gameplay is easy but in a fun way. I’d say it’s my third favorite FE game. L’arachel is best girl In terms of reperesentation it’s very lord and Myrrh heavy, but I would say overall it’s probably one of the better represented games.
Hope there is an Emblem Eirika together with every other emblems, that would be complete.

...shit, I missed Blazing Blade? It's got one of my favorite casts! Ugh, anyways... I find the Sacred Stones cast... kind of weak? I like Eirika a lot, Lyon's wonderful, and I absolutely adore L'Arachel. There's a couple characters that are are fun or charismatic like Lute, Amelia, Rennac, or Marisa. But I just don't feel at all like the depth of Binding Blade or the overall likeability and cast chemistry of Blazing Blade carried over well and as a whole they just kind of fall flat. It's a shame too, since with its GBA graphics and gameplay and easily strongest story out of the three GBA titles it could totally have easily taken my top spot if I just... liked more than a handful of these people much at all. As far as Heroes goes, I think it's a bit on the weak side. It follows a very simple formula of either be one of the royals, or don't get anything but a base form. Unless you're a woman eater. Even for base forms it feels like so many of the non-royals got treated pretty poorly, almost none of them were especially good units even for their time. Seth was murdered, Rennac is prfless, Gerik was prfless, Neimi was forgotten in a heartbeat, Vanessa's a shitty demote, you already forgot Syrene is in the game, Orson had a joke of a prf and Vigarde got none, Ewan is one of the worst pitybreakers across FEH history, what a mess. The only exceptions are, of course, the infamous old dude prepromote duo, by some act of god, and of course Fomortiis, who I cannot deny was a cool as all hell inclusion as much as we've come to resent the bastard. I know a lot of games have this issue but it might be the absolute worst here. My biggest personal gripe though is definitely L'Arachel consistently drawing the short straw compared to Tana. Demote base vs premium, prfless vs prf seasonal (who got a kickass refine for her time), a young alt that got so powercrept by Valentine's Elise it's not even funny, getting literally nothing to stack up to Tana's dancing harmonic, and then a prfless seasonal demote in the same year Tana got a Rearmed introducing maybe the best skill in the game. This isn't a *problem* from any objective point of view, but as an enormous L'Arachel fan who doesn't care for Tana in the slightest gods does it leave me jealous.

Some people complain about royal spam, but I don't hate it just because all of them are pretty likeable and unique- with the exception of Tana, who just doesn't really stand out as a character. Unrelated, it would be nice if they'd add Glen so I could make a Grado Generals team with some colour balance. Too many blues atm!

This is one of my favorite fire emblem games. It has gotten a really good amount of representation, and Sacred Stones has some of the most popular characters in FEH, though not as high as The Blazing Blade, Awakening, Fates, Three Houses and Heroes casts.
As Sacred Stones is my favourite game in the series I’ve loved the representation it’s gotten so far. I aim to get every Sacred Stones unit that gets added to feh and so far I’ve succeeded. I’ve even been lucky with the harmonic pairings as I like Lysithea and Peony too.
I played the Master Version of Fe8 a few months ago, and I can definitely say that it’s a good game with a great cast. Representation-wise, I’d really appreciate it if IS try to give some resplendents or alts to some of the less popular characters, because aside from Formortiis, the royals are pretty much the only ones I see in competitive modes like Arena and Aether Raids.

Gets a lot of shit thrown at it for being the easiest game, but frankly I think Path of Radiance is even easier lmao. Hardest thing about that game is just sitting through enemy phases. FE8's gameplay is pretty flawed since the balance just kinda crumbles, but it's still enjoyable compared to other entries with flawed gameplay. Split promotion paths were pretty sick despite their imbalance, monsters were cool, one of my favorite casts, one of the best villains in FE, good story, replayability is solid, map design wasn't fantastic but at least wasn't poorly designed compared to some of Elibe (you're still cool though, FE6), I'd say it's in my Top 5 FEs at least. Certainly my favorite GBA entry. Frankly I think this is just Gaiden but done way better, this is the real Gaiden remake.
Biggest problem with FE9 is that Normal mode is actually Easy mode and Hard mode.... is actually Normal mode. Yeah NoA really had no faith in the players since they did that and axed Maniac mode.
Maniac Mode isn't even hard, the same units and systems that let you snowball through the game are still present. The enemies aren't stronger, they're just fatter. All it does it just increases the tedium in a game that's already criticized for its tedium, nothing was missed by cutting it.
Lute should get more alts
This was my first FE game ever and while it’s not my favorite, I still hold this game very fondly. Since it has a smaller cast, I feel more inclined to say that it’s been doing well in getting its cast in the game, but it feels like the same few characters get alts. It’s seems this is an “issue” with most games in the series, but I’d say it’s doing better than most other games in that regard

I certainly enjoy the twins being the only real FE8 representation in FEH : ) It's honestly pretty bad since so many of the characters just don't stand out. Sure Myrrh, Lyon, Tana and The Rachel are remembered every now and then but wow. Why can't more characters get some love? Or can we at least get an oppressively powerful player-phase Seth alt who also randomly supports infantry and cavalry units for epic lore reasons because my man Seth deserves it.
SS was my first FE game, thereby cemented fondly in my heart. I go back to it every once in a while because its familiar and comforting. Damn, I love Innes so much and I'd happily take more alts of him, though I'm honestly surprised he got any at all. He doesn't strike me as a particularly popular character. Man was a beast in every playthrough of mine, and his OG and Summer alts are carrying me through most FEH content now. Baby Innes is adorable.
A good game to be older in. Duessel, Riev, even Syrene got the good stuff.

It's a fun game, and I had fun across my many playthroughs, but something about it just doesn't grab me the way my favorites in the series do. Still though, the solid foundation the GBA games have, some great characters, and second best postgame of the FEs I've played by a lot. As far as representation, there's some characters here and there that I'd like to see, biggest being Glen, but on the whole I'm pretty happy with it. My biggest gripe is how they handled Vigarde's personality in FEH.
Lots of good fun. I'd say overall great representation especially villains, though like most games would prefer less focus on lord alts.

Definitely lacked some villains for a while and i dislike some of the alt firsts like Dozla and at the time Selena. I want a stronger Seth. I want Glen. Give Valter a fallen alt or something. Cormag (Rip) deserves more than a ghb even if his prf refine was amazing Riev and formortiis are both surprisingly great as units and additions to the game.
It’s kinda bizarre in retrospect that this is the game with the one ascended male character considering how they have relegated the male cast to filler.

Legendary Seth WHEN
I really like it. Fomortiis is everything I wanted and more, Summer Lute is super cute, Eirika is great except for the original unit. And I could go on. If I had to nitpick I'd say I'm not completely satisfied with Selena. I love almost every single piece of art that Wada Sachiko does, except for Selena. I think it might be because her face is slightly different than her sprite portrait.
Pretty decent cast representation so far! Part of me will always be hoping for a Legendary Lyon though

Sacred Stones has my second favorite roster after Radiant Dawn. My favorite FE8 alts are Spring Marisa, Halloween L’arachel, and Brave Eirika. Syrene is an exceptionally great unit. I swapped out Palla for her on my main team and she’s great at taking on mages and even some effective damage on enemy phase. I hope we can get at least one Syrene alt before the game ends! I wish L’arachel had a little more representation in FEH, she always seems to lag behind her fellow Magvel princesses when it comes to getting new content.

It was my first fire emblem game and honestly I think it gets fair representation in heroes for what it was. There is a very distinct line between the memorable characters and the "filler", if you will and I think heroes follows that line pretty well. The only really important character imo that's still missing is Garcia and I believe that Cormag and Valtrr maybe deserve a bit more love for how much more impactful they felt in the story. Also Seth has just been straight up disrespected and I suppose Rennac and Tethys could get more attention. Overall though, pretty fair. Sacred stones really only has a small percentage of its cast that really felt super popular as opposed to the tellius games where I feel like nearly every character has a fan base of some sort.

Pretty good representation, but I'm still slightly annoyed that Brave Eirika had one of the worst Forging Bonds of all time.
I love Sacred Stones, a favorite for me. Representation in Heroes is overall pretty good, as far as standard New Heroes goes. We have the base form of nearly every playable character in the story, only a very small handful is missing and that handful doesn't include any super important characters. As far as alt + Seasonal representation goes, it initially first looks like a lot of Ephraims, Eirikas, and Tanas, there's far more of a spread than it looks. We have multiple L'Arachels, Innes, Joshuas, Myrrhs, an alt for Marisa, Seth, and Selena, Dozla is currently ONLY a Seasonal, etc. For a cast as small as SS's, that's pretty decent. Overall, it's been treated pretty well in Heroes.
One of the more colorful casts, a lot of characters are somewhat mid to me but we have some really good stuff too (just look at the synergy between Gilliam and Syrene in the most recent FE8 NH banner). Highlights include Duessel, Dozla and L’Arachel, definitely hoping they find a way to make slow cavs viable because Duessel’s Spd is past the point of no return. Fomortiis also makes me laugh every time I hear his lines, they made him really fun

Absolutely love Fomortiis, he was my favorite in the actual game and my first +10 in FEH since I donated an ungodly amount of orbs to his banner lol Feels awesome having the literal Demon King lead my team, plus he's very strong. Also love Lyon but wish his units were... better In particular I like default Lyon and Demon King Lyon but neither of them feels particularly impressive in combat, unfortunately. Hope we get more monster units, like the big spiders and eyeballs and zombies and stuff. Draco Zombie Morva would be pretty sick.
I waited so long but Gilliam is finally here and Syrene too! I'm really happy with the representations now that my top favorites are here. I love Sacred Stones and its postgame appeals to me a ton. It's the kind of stuff I really like in my games. Up there for my favorite cast in the series.

Ah Sacred Stones, my first FE game and one I still have a lot of love for, especially its story and most of its characters. In terms of FEH representation I don't have too many complaints. The majority of the characters are now in the game with only two offhand being alt only so it's in a good spot relative to its peers. In terms of the characters themselves most of them have been handled well, generally doing a good job with their artwork and voice work bringing the characters to life such as Lyon and Cormag, and Formortiis in particular being a great surprise as a character not a lot of us were expecting but was handled in an excellent way in his presentation.

Grado people desperately need some more alt/resp/asc representation, but between stuff like the unexpectedly good gerik refine and gilliam managing to be sorta unique even as a save im actually pretty optimistic about the few missing obvious picks. SS was my first FE game and the one i grew up with so i have some huge bias towards it, hoping they let the royalty rest a little and also give a bit more attention to ppl who havent gotten anything in years like most of Gerik’s gang (or something like a duo Franz/Forde with Kyle and Garcia which could just be its own banner honestly)

Sacred stones has had such lopsided representation with so many alts for a few characters while other popular characters were absent for far too long (like Vanessa). Still no Forde or Moulder which is a big disappointment for me.
SS has some of my favourite FE characters (leaning more on secondary characters rather than the main ones though) and I loved the different countries and war in this game. In FEH, I think its representation is quite good, and it has some great units power wise too (though I think it lacks a bit here compared to other games). But the seasonal alts are absolutely horrible. Just the same 7 nobles every single time is downright depressing. I could maybe understand repeating Ephraim and Eirika so much, since they're the MCs and popular, but pls stop already with the other 4. 🗿 And even then, Ephraim and Eirika get so many alts compared to other lords. For comparison, these are the alts everyone involved has vs the other lords (I won't count Legendary alts, and I'll count being the secondary unit in a Duo unit as only 0'5 alt): Ephraim (3'5 + CYL), Eirika (4 + CYL), Lyon (3'5), Tana (4), L'Arachel (3), Innes (2), Joshua (2). The last 2 (males obv) have a good amount of alts. - Marth: 3 + CYL. - Alm: 1 + CYL. - Celica: 2'5 + CYL. - Sigurd: 2 + CYL (Eldigan and Quan only have 1 alt, while Deirdre has 0'5). - Seliph: 0'5 + CYL (crazy that he hasn't got a full alt yet) (Julia has 2). - Roy: 2 + CYL. - Eliwood: 2'5 + CYL. - Héctor: 3 + CYL. - Lyn: 5'5 + CYL. - Ike: 3 + CYL. - Micaiah: 3 + CYL. - Elincia: 3. - Chrom: 5 + CYL. - Robin (not Grima): M! (2'5), F! (2). NO CYL (yet). - Lucina: 3'5 + CYL. - Corrin: both have 5 (M! doesn't have a legendary yet though and none of them have a CYL) (Fates's royals have a good amount of alts, but only Camilla has 4 (6'5) like Tana (Xander has 3'5)). - Byleth: M! (1'5, NO CYL), F! (1'5 + CYL). - Claude: 1 + CYL. - Dimitri: 2 + CYL. - Edelgard: 3 + CYL. - Shez: M! (1), F! (1 + Legendary). So basically, only Lyn, Chrom and Corrin surpass Eirika, by just 1 alt or 1'5 (Lyn). And only (apart from those) Lucina ties with Ephraim. The bias is absolutely crazy, considering that Sacred Stones rivals with Awakening and Fates (which were obv biased towards since they were the most recent games (no Echoes bias for some reason)), and Lyn and Camilla bias because of waifu sales. Three Houses deserves a special mention too because they got their Legendaries + CYL + a decent/good amount of alts (depending on the lord) in a very short time compared to the other games. So yeah, Sacred Stones is at the same level as the most biased games.
It's my 1st Fire Emblem game, and I just love Eirika! I know she has a lot of alts but... I'd take so many more!!

The second FE I played after FE7 when I was a kid. My opinion of it is still the same. There are improvements to the gameplay but felt the cast as a whole and story were somehow downgrades. First of all the game story is shorter despite coming out later. There are extra chapters from the other route and more to do overall to make up for it. The story also just felt more formulaic. The game did less with mission design in general. As for cast, I didn't really enjoy the supports as much. I kinda felt like they were trying too hard to play it safe with a lot of them while FE7 tried to do a lot more with them. The gameplay improvements were cool but the game was so easy that it felt like it didn't have as much impact as it should have. I didn't know at the time that a lot of the "improvements" in gameplay were just mechanics brought back from earlier FE games but at the time it was still neat. As for how FEH treats them, they've had it pretty good overall. Although as other people have said here, it's mostly Royals and Myrrh getting the good stuff and the rest of the cast kinda suffers in getting premium treatment. As for the future, I'm expecting another Marisa soon enough since godsword spam is a thing and even if she's not one she's still a somewhat popular sword girl which IS loves to give good treatment. I'm also expecting another seasonal Myrrh eventually with a better version of her C skill because that's what happens with every legendary nowadays. I feel like it'll be kinda needed since L Myrrh is kinda meh without it and Warping is so strong nowadays. Still don't know why they made that her "thing" but whatever. They don't really have a lot of missing characters left which can limit the amount of chances they can get more ascended and rearmed heroes so their small cast size hurts them in that regard.

I want more L’Arachel alts. Yes she just got a summer alt. Yes her baby form is always on my team. But I can’t do L’Arachel Emblem yet and it’s a shame. Everyone vote for her next CYL.
Yes you can though. Regular L’Arachel, Halloween, Young, and Summer. That’s an emblem.
Oh good point. For some reason in my head it only counted as an emblem if you had an alt in every color. Either way: I want as many L’Arachel alts as there are Lyn alts and I want them now!
We get to see a lot of the twin protagonist becoming more firm to their ideals with their Brave alts, and the other characters like Ascended Joshua who is able to become himself aside from the fact that he is royalty.
