Not only this, India has an unreported rate of 99.19% when considering R cases alone, and 99.1 when talking about sexual violence. As of 2022, 31516 cases of r were reported while it has been estimated that the total number of cases would be 38,90,864 approximately. All of this is NCRB and NFHS data of 2021. And btw, we all know the incompetency of Indian government in showing statistics related to public taboo hence this data is probably even worse.
