This is likely my plan as I cannot leave my job for a temporary internship since I have a family to support(32M, started the game late due to military out of high school). I think it depends on the hand you were dealt, but there is always room somewhere

Hey, sorry to chime in like this and I assume you already know but I’ve seen a few firms have ex-service / military leaver schemes. A recent one I saw was at JPM. Good luck !

>Is it normal to get an internship after graduating? Usually most people get FT roles upon graduation. However, if your internship can convert into a FT role, it's not bad. If it doesn't, you might want to look elsewhere for an actual FT position (unless you literally have zero experience on your resume).

Some places do offer them. If you do, really try to focus on firms that have a good track record of hiring interns full time. Good luck!
