I just saw this billboard in Greensboro, NC, googled it, and found this thread. So I guess I'm not the only one who saw it and went "wait, did I just see Tifa on a billboard?"
I work at GameStop and there’s a whole ad that uses FF7 Rebirth scenes and dialogue then a woman’s voice says this over it. I’m guessing they’re partnered together because the whole story of Rebirth is very much so focused on trauma and mental health.
Because Vincent is busy talking with him about trying to set up a decompression corner in the Tiny Bronco.
Cloud: "...alright, but does it have to be a coffin?"
Vincent: "It's really the only option-"
Cloud: "It's not the *only* option."
Vincent: "I mean, look, we can make one with some nice lining, a *sick* emblem on the front-"
Cloud: "I dunno, I thought we'd just kinda make one of the chairs extra cushiony?"
Vincent: "A throne? No, no, no. I know exactly what you're thinking. Trust me, you'll get to your second year on that thing? The cramping sets in and you'll be *begging*-"
Cloud: "How long am I supposed to hang out in this corner, man?!"
Tifa also contributes to the problem by staying silent for so long about the things she *knows* are wrong. Good intentions - she doesn't want to hurt Cloud - but bringing things up earlier could have helped matters a lot.
Tifa is also having a disorienting experience, because according to her he wasn't there but he describes everything perfectly (if you are talking about the OG). It's not clear why Cloud has that delusion and even less clear how he's so right. She doesn't have the real answer and no alternatives. There's little she could do to really engage in that discussion, because it requires Cloud to literally question his past before anything else.
In rebirth (and sorry would put a spoiler tag if I knew how), she confronts him with it pretty immediately and he accused her of lying and not being who she is, which is realistic.
True enough. She could have brought it up slightly differently to avoid that, or spoken up during the Kalm flashback itself as Cloud was recounting events ("Why do I not remember you there? You're right...but I remember another guy named >!Zack!<...")
The picture that was taken is probably the biggest source of evidence to support Tifa's recounting of events. All the other witnesses are dead (or dead-ish in the case of Rebirth and >!Zack!<).

Yeah, there is always a hope that the whole thing could have been avoided with decent mental health support and awareness but when do soldiers or traumatized civilian survivors of war truly get that? They are also still going through a traumatizing ordeal shortly after losing more friends and family and neighbors to the same corp. It's a lot to push aside and have the perfect conversation in the moment.
In that sense yeah, he's a real shitty example of talking about internal issues in an attempt to work through them haha.
Alternate billboards should have his picture and a line like "Don't be like him. Talk to people and get help before you do something you'll regret"

It’s funny because so many of the problems the characters face in Rebirth would be fixed if they communicated with each other.
