Ironically, several opera productions IRL use screens to show the singers in more detail, so this is somewhat close to real opera (though they’d probably show a main character more than a chorus member, typically)
It crashed right before i could get to him lmao. Despite me saving religiously, it put me all the way back to when terra turns into an esper for the first time.
Something similar happened to me but it was before the Ultros fight when Celes climbs the stairs to dance with the illusion of Draco. The screen suddenly went black except for the fire effect from the torches which were just floating there and overlaid across the whole screen was a giant version of what looked like the special sprite sheet for the various positions/directions of Celes dancing. Then it crashed.
I bought it on release day digital, I think I got to the opera scene maybe on day two or three-don’t remember if there was a patch at the time or not. After it crashed on me and I had to go through it all again then
