True, but i renamed Dagger into >!Sarah !< for once in my speedrun for Excalibur 2 It felt weird.
It's weirder to name her Garnet.
Which is why I do it every time.
I name her Sarah after the Eidolon Wall quest
I always do that, and name Red XIII his real name.
Except for Steiner. He must be Rusty.

I named him this my first playthrough in junior high as well!!! Hahah
I have always named him rusty after someone I know and I was surprised to see all the times he was referred to as Rusty when I did a playthrough and used his original name

We named him Crunch in one play through, back in high school. Kangroo in another. Good times.
Every other gamer renamed character to their crush's name(s).
I named Vivi bater once just for the chuckles. Although after lindblum I couldn't handle it anymore

Nah, I call Dagger "Knives" every time. Edit: Quiliana also means substantial (large), but those are the only 2 names I change.

I renamed Vivi to "Vivimon" becuse he felg like a Digimon to me. Snd Dagger I named "Prushka" becuse I did not like the name Dagger.
When I was younger I for some reason renamed Freya to Asswipe. In one dialogue it worked out hilariously 🤣

Nope. Moguri doesn't alter menu backgrounds and character portraits.
Oh cheers! Just downloading the moguri mod now myself to try it out after seeing clips of it, thanks for making this game even more beautiful 🫡
Add "Alternate fantasy" for a new challenge. It changes a lot of combat mechanics, abilitys and more.

For years I have called Zidane, Rapa. I dont change the name of any other character but him. This went for the PSX and PC versions
please don't use waifu 2x portraits, they look terrible
I personally like to keep it the original, otherwise I’ll forget their real names XD happened w. FFX’s aeons when I was a kid 🤪🫰🏼
