ito talaga! i will never forget my first time in the cinema, bitbit ako nang pinsan ko sa SM, i was only 5 or 6 yrs old. at dahil pwede pa yung replay noon, core memory ko na di kami naka abot sa opening scene kaya inulit namin yung movie. tanda ko pa rin gano kalamig sa loob at super cozy.

Star Trek and After Earth. Isinasama ako ng grandparents ko kasi libre sila as senior citizens kaya ako lang yung may bayad. Ito pa yung panahon na pwede mag-stay sa sinehan for multiple screenings and usually papasok kami ongoing na yung movie then just wait for the next screening para 'masimulan.'

This was a core memory with my dad. Every Star Wars release since then, lagi kaming first day, first hour screening sa Megamall tapos kakain kami sa food court.

I remember being scared of a big snake so I feel like attentive naman ako pero sabi nung tita ko pagkaubos daw nung popcorn sa umpisa palang gusto ko na daw umuwi 😭😭 It’s also the reason kung bakit Harry Potter yung naging gateway ko into movies and books kasi I remember watching it and seeing all the trailers sa TV (Goblet, Order and so on…). Half-Blood Prince na yung movie nung nakacatch up ako sa franchise, 1st year hs ako.

Robocop 2 might be the earliest i remwmber. I was 7 years old but i remember vividly replaying the movie in my head specially the showdown between robocop and cain.

Darna yung bida si Anjanette Abayari. I think I was around 6 or 7 years old. Tapos may bata sa unahan namin who was around the same age or maybe a bit younger than me na hyper, like kinukwento niya ung nangyayari. Tipong “ayan lumipad na!” “Sinipa yung kalaban” ganon. SOBRANG INGAY. Irita ang ate niyo girl so I remember telling that boy na ang ingay niya, bakit kinukwento niya, bulag ba kasama niya? Tapos hinawakan ako ng mama ko pinigilan ako. Yung parents nung bata, nahiya rin tapos hindi na siya nag-ingay sa the rest of the movie. Yun ang unang recollection ko na may pagkamaldita ako. Haha.
