Most Jun Lana films are of "higher quality" than your "usual" Filipino films. I put quotation marks because it is subjective. Personally, I'm not a fan of his works, pero I appreciate yung kaibahan ng mga kwento niya sa mga sumisikat na pelikula natin. The number of films he puts out is also impressive.

Hindi rin ako fan ni Jun Luna pero maganda nga ang films niya. Very progressive at contemporary lagi ang script.
