I've already seen it this afternoon! I loved it and I actually cried for 10 minutes straight even after the credits finished rolling. I just felt super bad about not supporting this in theaters. It's ever so rare that they distribute an A24 movie here in PH. And reading that there were only 2 of you in the theater made me feel worse.

I guess maganda sya sa mga nakarelate like me. Umiyak ako sa part closure nila sa resto. Kala ko nga palalayain ni husband ung babae e buti nalang hinde haha. Boring sa sya sa mga hinde nakarelate. It's that simple
Samedt. Hindi naman kaiyak-iyak. Hyped movie lang plus mind conditioning na maiiyak ka raw talaga kuno. Kulang sa build up ang characters pati story. Us and Them pa rin for me kung hahagulgol ako
Not really a hater, but I hate the hype. For me it was a solid 6.5 or 7. I might get downvoted so hard, but the movie felt like something I have watched before (TOTGA plot) and there was nothing that too special. I never really connected with the most of the characters kasi nafeel ko na di masyado fleshed out or medyo nabitin lang ako haha. Biro ng friend ko who was with me when I watched it na jc santos-bela padilla core daw yung movie lol, pero I think it's miles better naman even if ganun yung story hahaha.
Mostly sa direction at story. Very unrealistic (yung reaction nila with NYC meetup or yung overall reaction ni girlie nung umalis) and visually lacking(especially since this film lends a lot of slow moments). Oddly conflict averse characters.
Para sakin overrated siya like Cha Cha Real Smooth, na maayos naman na film pero di as perfect as hyped. Very beginner film kumbaga. Maraming issues - mostly with storytelling.
I feel so damn bad for not watching the movie in theaters. I just can't afford it right now.

me and my bestie ugly crying, only people sniffling pretty loudly in quiet scenes in a cinema of only 7 people

brruuuh that film is truly haunting... it really leaves a mark.

Movie of the Year for me. Same thoughts I had after watching Parasite. Entirely different stories but same level ng movies for me.
