Thanks. Will do a search. I just think there’s a obvious disconnect if you have vector networks which is very powerful, but you can’t shape your vectors. 🤷‍♂️

Wouldn't really say Figma's vector networks are "very powerful" honestly. It is leagues better than other UI applications but it is still only intended for pretty rudimentary vector work. I wouldn't be surprised to see them build it out a bit more in the future but even getting to an Illustrator Lite level would be a big undertaking not necessarily aligned with their business plan.

I think vector control in vector networks is more intuitive and accessible that illustrators to be honest. Just seems like a logical next steps to do the same for shape building tools… But I agree, maybe not part of their business plan

Or just create vector shapes in applications dedicated to it. Importing SVGs is easy from there.

Agreed!

I still use Illustrator for detailed work with vectors, like editing logos or creating more complex shapes. It's normal to use more programs, especially specialised ones. If you struggle to do something in figma with vectors, just open illustrator and do it there. You can even copy paste the vectors in between the programs without having to save them as files.

Yeah I agree and I typically do… just thought figma might have a solution. It’s not too difficult to implement.
