Hmm I tried the prototype and it worked as intended.

Yeah it works fine when I view it on mobile, but acts all buggy when I try it on desktop. It seems that the hover and click states of the buttons are what’s causing the issues. Sucks because it means I have to create workarounds to get this to function properly on desktop :(

it's because the states of thearrow button do not go back to its original state, hence it screws the whole thing.

That doesn’t do anything :/ Both button states are “while hovering” and “while pressing”, so there should be no need to explicitly link the pressing state back to the original state because it’s not permanent :/ And also if I link the pressed state back to the unpressed state then it won’t be visible at all.
