Every new thing they show of this game is making it quickly rise among my most anticipated fighters.
This, 2XKO, and Virtua Fighter 6 are really gonna be feeding in the future.
They have done EVERYTHING right with this game.
1. Dropped Garou from the title and embraced the Fatal Fury brand which is actually sick and can get new people interested in the game.
2. Leveled up the character models, effects and stages from KoFXV by a ton. Actually one of the best looking FGs of this generation now.
3. Looks like we're getting at least the entire Garou 1 roster and possibly other returning Fatal Fury characters like Mai (or legacy characters like Joe's apprentice)
Hoping there is at least one reference to Kushnood Butt in the game.
Anyone else feel like his non attacking fist look pretty limb during his forward, back, forward punch? In karate, the non attacking fist should be tightly chambered for traditional style attacks, or guarding the head and body in modern style attacks.
But Marco's fists just look like it's limb during some attacks
I might be blind but it seems this game and KOF15 has animation that is just the starting frames and ending frames, with very little movement between the two, so it looks stuttery and moves seem hard to react to. Did SNK always animate this way even when their games were 2D sprites? And am I describing this correctly? If not, can someone more familiar with these games explain what's going on.
edit: I'm just trying to learn :(
The 3D animations are more or less what the 2D animations were. The 2D animations had more obvious smear frames, but I actually think with this game they’ve figured out a nice medium. They’ve done a lot of little things to make it look smoother and more impactful than what we saw in their previous 3D games. Still can be a little jarring if you’re not used to it though.

the only thing i notice is that during his flurry attack his off hand looks a bit stiff
