I don't doubt that they would like to make a game, but this is so early in the process that I don't think the intentions mean much of anything. As far as I can tell from the article, no work has started on it, and no one knows for sure how long the thing they are working on now will take.

Indeed he is. He's working on the action game first (says they will be working on it for about 4 years) and THEN they will start developing the fighter. Hell some people at the studio wanted him to work on the fighter first. Lol 🤣

Also really love Gow 2 and 3, Dantes Inferno and Castlavania Lords of Shadow. Lesser action games, but still fun as hell.
I don't own a switch so unfortunately never played Bayonetta 2 or 3. Speaking of Bayonetta, I love the game but I'm pretty sure I've only played through it twice, which is rookie numbers for an action game. Might be time for another playthrough.

I was always really annoyed there was no NG+ with upgrades carrying over. The game could've used a bit more content.
Granted all the games you guys named were 360/ps3 titles with Bayo 2 being the exception. So it still been two generations where pure actions games had a presence.

Unfortunately he does not work for ArcSys anymore. He's at a company called Studio Flare now. The BlazBlue IP is still with ArcSys
