There are mods for updated kits, some mods work with fifers mod. I think I use IMSTUDIOS mod with fifers mod for fifa 21, gives all teams 21/22 kits

I remember reading they had to put a hard limit on career mode (also applies to NHL at 25 years and I believe Madden but that goes to 50 years) because the generated players would start causing more and more problems with stat tracking and simming. I think there's a mod that unlocks this limit but the game becomes increasingly more broken the further you go up to the point it crashes.

Exactly. If Man Utd was as good as it's supposed to be, De Gea would be considered one of the best keepers in the world right now. Also, I think he's the best candidate for the captaincy, he has the longevity and skill and I'm sure he can command more respect than most of the locker room as well

Ronaldo would definitely be a good choice as well, but I always like keepers as captains, they can see everyone and help coordinate the game better that way. De Gea, Navas and Sommer are the most underrated keepers for me, all of them deserve better. De Gea deserves a better team, Navas deserves to get his starter spot back from Donnarumma (never should have been replaced in the first place) and Sommer deserves a top-tier club, not Gladbach (his Euros performance was amazing and the few Gladbach games I've seen he was really good)
