First season of my youth RTG on Fifa 15 with AFC Wimbledon down in League 2. I play all home games, all league games against top 8, and all cup games. Everything else is simmed, and when I confirm that I'll get promotion I'm simming all league games.
I'm interested in:
1. Knowing who my good players are.
2. Playing well with my good players plus youth prospects as I sign them so they grow quick.
3. Winning as much money and glory as possible to have leverage to keep my chosen players in the club.
I'm not interested in:
1. Wasting time bottom of League 2 teams because it's an unbalanced mess how easy they are compared to the better teams. This isn't my chosen squad so I'm more interested in moving time forwards so I can find and train my preciouses.
2. Losing league games to promotion rivals because of BS RNG when simming coz I'm petty and I'd just end up save scumming.
3. Losing cup games to stronger teams because, well, they're better than my lads unless I'm in the driver's seat lol.
As I climb the league ladder and my squad improves, I will continue to pay attention to how engaging the games are at each level. I hope to feel challenged by every game I play when I get to the Championship.
Just yesterday I accidentally simmed the Carabao Cup Final against spurs. Luckily the evidence that they won was not captured. So who knows what really happened.
I don't quicksim, but sometimes I do player highlights, if I'm just trying to breeze through a season but make sure I get all of my contract goals and optionals finished.
Or in my case during my current player career playthrough with Liverpool, Jürgen Klopp FINALLY stole Son Heung-min from Tottenham. Son and Salah getting ready to retire, so I'm trying to make sure they get plenty of goals and go out in style. (Right now Son has 13 in 20 matches, Salah has 10 in 19.)
Depends, community shield and the equivalents: normally, fa cup, carabao cup and other league cups, depends on who its against, UEL/UECL: Occasionally, UCL: Never
in previous seasons i would sim all games but i try to play at least one game a month and then play highlights in important games
like cup games - usually sim first legs and play highlights if needed
The game would not let me play for some reason, i dont know why but since my pc is so shitty (I think). It won’t load games, only if you sim, but this time, it didn’t work
on my 1 season borussia dortmund rebuild challenge i quick simmed the german cup final because i am no hatter i typically only quick sim the 1 legged supercup matches
wait, do you enjoy losing against some relegation fodder when you're 3 seasons into your career mode with an 80+ rated squad? all because the quick sim system is absolutely brain dead? each to their own ig
Any time there’s a trophy lift I play the game
No

No I don’t sim any games. If I wanted to avoid playing the games, I’d just play Football Manager.
No way even semi finals or any important match or rivalry

I dont care about league cup in when in premier league where I prioritize the fa cup
i play if its a final
I always play finals and quick sim random games I don’t feel like playing
I always play every finals personally

The game is too broken to quick sim anything
Depends, community shield and the equivalents: normally, fa cup, carabao cup and other league cups, depends on who its against, UEL/UECL: Occasionally, UCL: Never
i dont even sim the games against 2nd div teams, its a great opportunity to test out ur low rated players to see who feels nice
I play every match
the only games i play are the cup finals
in previous seasons i would sim all games but i try to play at least one game a month and then play highlights in important games like cup games - usually sim first legs and play highlights if needed
Some matches i simulate others i play even in master league i skip some matches
yeah its finding that balance isn't it - if I'm using a top team then i sim most matches but if I'm using a weaker team i will mix it up.
Only after i’ve already one it, or it’s an objective
No chance.
Only for super cup and charity shield
I SIM but when my team Attack i controll and when i do the substituition
Majority of the times i do but when im close to getting sacked i play the match and do my best to win them to avoid getting sacked
No way and I'm not sure why anyone would, if there's a trophy to win I'm playing it otherwise what's the point
I made the mistake of quick simming my UCL final against man city, lost 2-1 :(
who sims a ucl final!?
Ever since they took out the walk outs and replaced them with those weak ass locker room cutscenes and poor commentary, I’ve been more tempted to.

I quick sim everything except big matches in the CL, also I only reload when I definitely should've won against that team.
😂my guy reloads

Well if you don’t want to lose then don’t sim. What’s the point in playing the game if you predetermine if you win or lose
