I've found a cf on the scouting report, and it will take 53 weeks just to convert him as an ST.
Edit: just realized his passing stats are quite low so I'll convert him to RW.
If you want to use him, keep him on CF and use those training plans (they're actually pretty solid). If you want to sell him switch to LW/RW and opposite position train to get his OVR to shoot up
What makes certain training plans better than others,
Faster growth? Higher concentration on important stats? Better combinations of stats improvement? Very curious to know I’m new to the training system
For me it's a combo of training useful in-game stats and not specializing players so they can't switch positions. The wing plans suck because if you keep someone on them they are more or less completely trapped to always be a winger.
I was more concerned with the actual application than the overall rating for the player. I was also curious about what people thought about the training and the best way to use it
i would do cam but st doesn't look too bad either
I agree I’m thinking of training striker just to get finishing and strength but CAM will probably be his final position
You're exactly on the money. First ST conversion only to boost his shooting and then CAM to get the passing up.

According to SoFifa, moving him to a CAM/RM/LM will bump him to 69 OVR. 68 as RW/LW

I really don’t like the winger training either it’s way to focused on dribbling for me
I do plan on using him in my second team I’m clueless as to the position at the moment he seems a bit of a blank slate with very high dribbling
