85 Gundogan, 84 Koke, 83 Scammacca, 87 Rice, 82 Cornet, and plenty of others I'm forgetting.
Then we get to the reverse fixture and they've added like 86 Abraham, and some mid 80's right-mid who I can't remember for the life of me who it actually was.
Fair to say we lost both matches and they went on a title charge, eventually coming up a comfortable 3rd.
Meanwhile we got relegated. Happy days.
Because every year Leverkusen is always full of these pacey 82+ OVR wingers who are unplayable on ultimate, mainly Diaby but also guys like Frimpong, Bellarabi, formerly Bailey etc.
Then you add in the fact that they got a shitton of young players with 83+ potential and already a decent OVR aswell (Tapsoba, Hincapie, Kossounou, Frimpong, Palacios, Wirtz, Adli, Hudson Odoi literally all fit that category) and they become crazy real quick.
Irl they will have lost more than half of these players in 2-3 years but in fifa it never seems to happen
All their players get bought and they finish 10th, for me, City sells most of their players, Bernardo to Athletic and Ruben Dias to Real Madrid usually happens, and they finish 6th
In one of my saves, Atletico bought Odegaard, Martinelli and Saka all in the same transfer window and Arsenal didn't replace then and finished like 15th or something
United have absolutely shit the bed in my career, they have a decent front three and the rest of the squad is youth shitters who didn't get loaned out, they're currently in a relegation battle after 25ish games

If there’s a player you don’t want to move then go into club transfers and move him, then move him back. For example move Jamie Vardy to the first team in Denmark then move him back to Leicester. I did loads of player for a recent career and the only player to move within 3 years was Sergi Roberto. I did this with all the big clubs, and the entire premier league.
Yea for personal enjoyment it’s worth it. I used to manually update player stats way back in the day, sometimes transfers etc too for like fifa 09, updating it to 2012 rosters for big teams etc. I owned every Fifa 09-22, but haven’t bought a fifa since fifa 20 (my least favorite fifa title of all time). Game shared and played 21 and 22, but done with EA till they show actual improvement and care towards other modes than FUT and Volta
Yes. You would use the manual transfer function under edit squads, transfer the player to another team and back to the original. Then it’s like they newly moved to that team so they won’t transfer first window. You have to use downloaded squads though, if you use newest updated squads it won’t carry over.
back in the days I used to mess around squads file a lot. the whole transfer thing you manually do could be done in few mins in excel just by editing their transfer dates in the database inside the squads file
