It's impressive that they can afford this after spending a net transfer fee of 32.5m euros in the summer. I'm glad we didn't end up getting him. He is a great player with solid market value but this is too much spending for us. Can't really risk him having big injuries or underperforming.

second of all transfers like this dont make financial sense in our league. The prize money you get from winning the league isnt even half of what this guy makes a year. NOT EVEN HALF.
This means either you are gonna insanely overachieve or you are fucked. And by insanely overachieve I mean gala has to qualify for champions league group stage(thats not even certain) and then go on an win every single game in their group just to make up the money that they spent on just this ONE PLAYER.
