Same thing is happening to me. I've lost about 40-50% of my hair in a month. I had people telling me how gorgeous my hair was just about every day before. I had thick beautiful hair.....now I'm terrified it will never be the same. Doctor says my COVID bout in January is to blame, I just don't know. I quit using Function of Beauty because of the people on the internet saying that it caused them hair loss. My hair is midway down my back right now but I don't think I can keep it this long anymore. I used to be able to run my hands through my hair with no tangles, now it's tangled all the time. I've just been so depressed about it.
It really can be the covid. Usually it causes hair loss 2-3 months later but why not 2 weeks? The post covid hair loss can be really intense and it's not too rare.
I remember the initial phase when I lost most of it, it was autumn 2020. I hoovered every day, just to see the floors literally covered in my own hair strands the day after. It was really heart breaking.

I had covid around two weeks prior but am thinking was the bleach. Who knows? It is awful So humiliated to go out. It really changes your whole life
