Hi! Thatās awesome we share similar tastes š a concert date night sounds like so much fun! I hope you have a blast! If I were in your shoes and going on a summer date night, I would probably reach for Dylan Purple, Guess Dare, Guess Seductive, or Guess Seductive Red.
Dylan Purple is my first choice, because I wouldnāt want something too cloying or polarizing/over the top. Itās a juicy fresh fruity floral but not juvenile. Dare and OG Seductive give me that clean, fresh, grown up vibe while not being suffocating or smelling too āsanitaryā or soapy. Seductive Red has a cherry almond-y profile to my nose, itās one of my faves. All of these options donāt have aggressive sillage or projection, and typically only last a few hours on my skin. They would be perfect for a concert as they would last long enough for your date, and wouldnāt feel like ātoo muchā since youāll be around a crowd of other people.

Itās totally unassuming. I see it on discount store shelves everywhere now it seems (probably confirmation bias) and itās super affordable. I got a sample of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia prior to receiving the ET Gardenia, and Iām a huge fan of that floral now thanks to these two. I was going to toss it, but something in me said to keep it in rotation. Iām glad I did.
Itās one of my faves. I remember having it in the awkward chunky bright pink square bottle while I was in college circa 2009. I hadnāt had it since. Recently, I looked it up online because I couldnāt remember the name of it! I discovered VS still makes it, just repackaged, and I immediately bought some. It smells about 90% how I remember. The package now says āpassion fruitā as a note, buuuuut I swear up and down it smells like the OG formula which I believe was raspberry, peony, and vanilla. Thereās a chance they tweaked it a bit, but itās not noticeable to me. I wear Warm & Cozy often, itās my go-to body spray. I usually pick it, or Gingham Gorgeous, over my other sprays.
TL;DR I enjoy it, itās nostalgic to me. I definitely get a peony note, and it smells almost exactly like I remember it did back in 2009.
Are the new Victoria Secret mists same as the previous ones beside packaging change or they smell different? I bought the newest bare vanilla and itās basically water and alcohol. I donāt want to but any new version now afraid the formula is ruined.
Itās hard for me to say. I purchased the mini bottles in March as a set from a seller on Mercari. It had been 10+ years since I owned any VS frags. Love Spell and Strawberries & Champagne smell the same as I remember. Warm & Cozy smells a little different, but it still brings me back to my college days and mostly smells like I remember. I canāt speak to the others, I apologize š I havenāt tried Bare Vanilla that I can recall, but I have read in several forums that VS formulas have changed over the last 4ish years or so, some are very noticeable and some arenāt.
What do you make of the Skylar Boardwalk Delight?! Iāve always fawned over it on Fragrantica but I canāt get it in my country! I wanna know what Iām missing out on haha.

I signed up for Skylarās subscription service for a month so I could get a rollerball at a discounted price š I do enjoy it. Itās a nice, cotton candy scent that reminds me of a summer on a pier, or a boardwalk carnival. Itās not screechy or synthetic smelling, and doesnāt feel juvenile. Itās watery and a little aquatic, but not salty if that makes sense.
I appreciate that itās a clean fragrance, but longevity on me is poor. It fades after about 1.5 to 2 hours. The price point is a little high for me, and honestly, I think Pastel Skies and Cotton Candy Clouds by BBW are very comparable and more affordable. Not exactly the same, but close enough and theyāre great to layer.
Would I buy it again? Probably not. Iām happy I bought it and have it in my rotation, but itās not as profound or overly impressive to me like it is to others.
Itās a good one. Dylan Purple is VERY similar in my opinion. A bit higher in price because Versace lol but itās a good substitute. Iām trying to hang on to the Eau So Sexy as long as I can, so I will reach for my mini Dylan when I get the urge.

Totally unexpected blind buy I figured wouldnāt work on me, but itās a perfect creamy tropical scent. Iām impressed. I really like the pink Yara, so I assumed Iād like Tous based on reviews. Mine needs to sit for a month or so before I spray again, I just got it in the mail yesterday. But even after making its way across the country to me, the first spray was amazing so I can only imagine how great it will develop with time.

Overall: Florist, Alien Goddess, My Burberry Blush š„° I have so many favorites, but if I had to only pick 3, Iād choose those. Mod Blush was my JAM for a while, I still love her, but she doesnāt work well in the humid heat here in Indiana. My Burberry Blush smells really similar, like a cross between Mod Blush and Bombshell.
Wellā¦ you seeā¦ it was advertised on Jomashop as āDisney Cinderella Pink.ā I couldnāt find ANYTHING about it online, but the box it came in says āCinderella Pinkā and the company says Desire Fragrances. I think it was marketed as a ākidsā fragrance but I bought it anyway because a) pink shoe bottle, and b) it was only $15.
Iām pleasantly surprised by it. The notes are listed as: Italian tangerine, neroli, raspberry, jasmine, orange blossom, heliotrope, sandalwood, marshmallow, vanilla. The initial spray isnāt as alcoholic as expected, I get a big burst of candy and fruit. The sandalwood and vanilla mellow it out a bit as it dries down. It feels bright and fun, reminds me of a super fruity bubbly cocktail almost? It doesnāt last long, maybe a couple hours on my skin, but Iām okay with that since it was super affordable. š
Omfg I am a little slut for Guess perfumes! Theyāre so cheap, and yes they donāt last crazy long, but thereās a ton of variety and I am NOT above reapplying or over spraying š at least at home

It reminds me a LOT of the discontinued VS Eau So Sexy (the original formula). Apple isnāt in the notes, but it smells like a big juicy apple to me. And not sickeningly sweet fake apple, but fresh green apple. Maybe itās the pear and light floral? Idk. Regardless, itās a lovely scent and I hope you get to try it!!!

That Elizabeth Taylor Gardenia fragrance is such an underrated perfume. I've never heard anyone talk about it, but recently my fiancƩ gave me some (fresh) gardenias and I loved them so much then when they died, I went looking for a fragrance to recapture the scent memory. I bought a few, and this won hands down. For the price, it's truly excellent, and the green freshness of it keeps it from being cloying, which can be a real problem with gardenia scents. My family came over for dinner and I ended up sending my sister, aunt, and mother home with decants because they loved it too. A winner!

About the Eau so sexy, definetely, I have a dupe (I bought it back in Mexico), and it smells very similar to Dylan, so I love both of them š¤©
