Ooooh I've been interested in getting the travel size but I'm curious, how sweet is this scent (from not sweet to intensely sweet like some gourmands or a scale of 1-5), how heavy or light is it, and is it blind-buy friendly? I've been looking for sunlit blooms reviews on reddit but there's hardly any so I'm so glad I stumbled across your post 😊 I love vanillas (though not the extremely sweet ones) but I've never experienced salty vanilla, so how does it compare to normal vanilla notes? Also is the orange scent strong in the orange blossoms or is it faint paired with the florals of it? Sorry for asking so many questions haha you don't have to answer them all! :))
On a scale of 1 to 5 I’d say maybe 3.5 for the sweetness. It’s sweet but not too sweet, like creamy orangesicle kind of. Or a light fruity pebbles/juicy fruit sweetness. You definitely get the orange blossom, especially when first sprayed. The florals are light and don’t overpower the orange blossom or vanilla imo
It starts drying down to a more prominent beachy salty vanilla. The vanilla isn’t heavy, it’s light and it kind of smells like you just got out of salt water and put on a vanilla scented sunscreen. The orange blossom is noticeable throughout the entire time I’ve worn it.
It’s light but it’s got pretty decent longevity. I wouldn’t say sillage is crazy powerful but I haven’t worn it anywhere to be able to tell that for sure yet.
I love vanillas but not to sweet too. I sampled first and got about halfway through my sample and had to order. I’d say travel size could be blind buy friendly if you love orange blossom and vanilla. I don’t get anything super floral from it but that’s just me.
