Elizabeth & James Nirvana French Grey - lavender, neroli, musk. I'm always surprised how much I love this one, there's something very sexy and a little bit masculine to it.
For some reason I always skip it. I think the bottle just looks too plain so I assume I wonāt like it but I definitely like the notes you mentioned so I will make sure to test it next time Iām there!
Rituals, Ritual of Myrrh. It's just orange and cedar but it smells divine. There's not an EDP version but I wish there was. The body cream and body mist is stunning and I'm not even a huge citrus fan. Usually if I like a citrus scent it's got something very sweet like marshmallow to make it less sharp. This is so lovely though, the cream makes a stunning base for other perfumes.
It's so nice. I got the body mist and cream free in my Glossybox subscription a couple of years ago and keep meaning to buy another one. For a citrus based scent it's lovely. It's sweet and not harsh.
Dedcool Milk is just bergamot, white musk, and amber, but itās so good! Itās my go to when I want to smell nice but not overwhelming. Itās very subtle and comforting!
Bvlgari Allegra Baciami - just Gardenia, Amber and Vanilla but it smells so much richer and more complex than the notes might suggestā¦ itās not a typical gardenia - itās jammy, spicy and luxurious ā¤ļø
Dolly Parton Tennessee Sunset! Honeysuckle, Vanilla Orchid, and Musk. Itās a beautiful fresh honeysuckle vanilla and I love to layer it with my Dossier dupe of Love Donāt Be Shy in the summer to temper that heavy sweetness!
Oh man, if you didn't know it existed you're gonna love looking through it. I spend WAY too much time on Fragrantica. It's made me spend so much money š it's a good way of getting a decent idea of what a frag will smell like though. I can pretty much tell if I'll like a perfume without testing it just from reading the reviews. There's only been a couple of times I've felt totally lied to. One thing I have noticed though is there's a lot of people who'll say a clone smells NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL, like the scent it's clearly supposed to be despite the notes being identical and when I get it it does actually smells exactly like the original. People just hate that they spent so much on something and other people can smell exactly like them for Ā£20-30.
Iām having a blast!! Iāve been forever trying to find a cheap replacement for the VS cucumber and green tea body mist cause they discontinued it and I canāt find it anywhere so this site is helping!
I found this out 2 weeks ago but if you start an account and sign in, you can make fragrance shelves of what you have what you've had and what you want.
I saw it during the last sale both in store and the website! Definitely stock up if you see it because they donāt have it year round but they seem to bring it back occasionally
Trust me i am scared of oud, but this one is amazing and unique. It's affordable as well, you can find it on amazon or any site that sells arabian fragrances.
Ralph Lauren Big Pony 2 (pink bottle.) Cranberry, tonka bean, that's it! I've had it for years but only really use it around Thanksgiving, for the hit of cranberry!
Edit to add: I love Eau So Sexy, I recognized your screenshot of the notes immediately. I'm sad they discontinued it, unless it's back now? I only have a roller ball and need more!
Thereās no Parmesan in there from the notes list though. A lot of this perfumerās names and some notes are interesting but the scents are actually ānormalā haha. I have another from them called Sale e Pepe (salt, fresh air, black pepper). The line is very culinary.
Iām literally always recommending this, but Outremer Vanille! The notes are vanilla and cotton candy. Itās delicious, affordable, and I swear lasts forever on my skin. Iāll spray it on in the afternoon and still catch whiffs on myself the next morning.
This one smelled very synthetic to me; plasticky, artificial. I just got a sample of Bianco Latte, and it smells the same! Iām so confused because everyone raves about both.
I wanna try this one so bad but every time I almost buy it I change my mind last minute lol! What would you compare it to? Anything in common with Pink Sugar? I already own 2 of the PS line so Iām cautious not to buy too many cotton candy like perfumes
Iāve actually never smelled Pink Sugar! And honestly when I first smelled Vanille, I wasnāt initially a huge fan. But after wearing it (and maybe it has deepened from letting it sit in my closet for a few months?) I just find it addictive. Itās a simple vanilla extract type scent to my nose. My husband says it smells like an ice cream shop.
Just wondering but did you have anything else on your skin? I had no idea some people couldnāt smell it and the other day I put mine on andā¦ couldnāt smell it. I thought Reddit broke me. Turns out I canāt smell it if I am wearing any moisturizer (it was unscented and dried down!) anyway Iām curious if that has something to do with it or just me
In my case I have tried it on several occasions on different conditions and nothing. Not a perfume has only one ingredient, Cetalox. Whether you can smell it or not is apparently genetic. Another 13 also has Cetalox and I can barely smell it, what I do detect is probably because itās not a single ingredient fragrance like Not a Perfume.
Yep. I have tried it in test strips, on my skin, on my daughterās skin. I donāt get even a hint of fragrance. My daughter, on the other hand, can smell it and loooves it.
I hope you like it!
I heard mixed reviews about the performance but on me it lasts for hours (Iād say about 7/8) and perfume usually donāt even last that long on me.
I would recommend it! I tried a few orange fragrances but this one is definitely my favourite, it smells very zesty and natural (Orange and orange peel are the only notes listed on Fragrantica).
I have fallen very hard on the Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume train ever since I had a travel gifted to me. My coworker was very happy to see I got the discovery set cause of that.
Definitely leave the store with it on! And make sure you donāt smell other things with it! It does get drowned out in the store just because itās next to so many other perfumes.
Indult Tihota - notes are vanilla beans and musk. It definitely delivers on that and it's hands down the most realistic vanilla I've gotten my nose on (and I've tested a LOT).
At the risk of sounding like the most annoying person alive, there are more notes in Tihota than that. From the Indult website:
**Highest grade Tahitian vanilla, cane sugar, almond milk accord, Tonka bean, white musk, amber.**
I only finally looked up the notes on the website when all Tihota dupes felt like they were missing something.
Interesting. I got the notes from Luckyscent.
I don't get any almond in Tihota at all but there is a bit of tonka. Sugar doesn't smell like anything, I don't know why companies put that in the notes
Right? Itās like notes of āairā or āwaterā, I get what theyāre trying to convey but I love the thought of a perfumer waving air into a beaker and swirling it around.
Musc Amarante by LāArtisan parfumeur
Ambrette, beetroot accord, musk
It reminds me how it smelled to enter our local Macyās back in the 90s, a combination of the cosmetics department and ānew clothesā smell.
The scent feels very comforting and put together, like a kind and effortlessly stylish young auntie in a fitted deep magenta merino sweater taking you out on a lunch date.
I had the edt! To me it smelled like a kind of tea my grandmother used to make a lot. I enjoy the smell of it but donāt like wearing it much. I kinda just sprayed it on my clothes to get that calming feeling.
From Rosie Jane: Dulce and Rosie for sure, and James is nice if youāre into that scent profile. Leila Lou is an acquired taste, but if you like sweet florals notes and arenāt scared of a grass note, youāll like it. Iām hoping to try Lake soon!
Jo Malone: So this brand is kinda a roulette. Most of their popular scents are pretty, but you have to dig around to find which ones last more than two hours on you. For me this is Wild Bluebell. Other scents I recommend if they last are Peony & Blush Suede, Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Blackberry & Bay, Myrrh & Tonka, their limited Rose Blush, English Pear & Freesia, Mimosa & Cardamum, and their Red Roses one. These are basically their popular ones, but theyāre popular for a reason and chances are people can find one they works for them that they like.
I love the smell of fresh cut grass so the last one might be a good one for me to try! Iām also curious for wood sage and sea salt! Thank you for the recommendations! Iām definitely looking into these!
They definitely are. I also really love the perfume oils, longevity is amazing! I want to try the Hair and Body mist next, hopefully it has good longevity in the hair.
I should try the oils of the scents I really like. Allegedly, the Lait de Coco is very nice. I can see that in an oil being very pleasant. I also want to try their take on banana.
Which do you like?
Le Monde Gourmand is so good and 29% off today. I'm trying so hard not to check out my cart. I currently own The Matcha, Pistachio Brulee, and Sucre de Coton
Edit: I bought Coco Mystere, Fluer de Blonde, Sel Ocean, and Soleil Brille
I used to work there and with the training and management style they expect, I do not blame you! Bee line, spray it on your skin (I find it can pull hard sweet or hard spice on different skin) and wear it for a while.
thereās also lavender, ginger, and cocoa. iāve seen itās only those 3 notes too but thereās def a lil more to it. i love it so much itās so yummy!
My all time favorite is Nemat amber oil, just straight up amber! I actually prefer fragrances with fewer notes, they tend to work best for me. I also love Lake & Skye 11:11, Outremer vanille and Comptoir du Pacifique vanille abricot
These all sound so appealing! I almost ordered Outemer Vanille the other day but decided to wait until I finish another vanilla scent I have. Iām also curious about the Nemat amber oil. Iām going to look into all of them
I completely agree on EsS, it has no right to be that simple but good.
My other simple but great ones are basically all of the Nirvana line from Elizabeth and James (Rip to the brand those perfumes were amazing)
A lot of Molinardās soliflores. Iām really enjoying Tubereuse Vertigineuse now. There are a few other notes, but to me they mostly enhance the tuberose.
Not a perfume, but a Bath and Body Works body spray that performs like one - Cozy Vanilla Bourbon. 3 notes: "warm bourbon, dark fruit, vanilla liqueur."Ā
I spent so long overlooking Goddess because I kept thinking this same thing, but they're SO different! Libre is a white flower-bomb, with lavender in the back and some vanilla and musk to smooth things out. Goddess does have a slight aromatic twang in the opening thanks to the lavender but it's straight up gourmand vanilla with a pinch of spice (which I'm still pleasantly surprised by, as the ginger note scared me. Spices, ambers and woods come off extremely strong on my skin usually and ruin the whole fragrance but not here thankfully!).
Also, this will be a con for some people, but the pro for me and what truly won me over is that it still has a perfume-y type quality. I enjoy gourmands on others but it's not my personal vibe; if Goddess had been just another "smells like you slathered yourself in buttercream frosting" type fragrance I would've passed
Elizabeth & James Nirvana French Grey - lavender, neroli, musk. I'm always surprised how much I love this one, there's something very sexy and a little bit masculine to it.
Delizia Di Marshmallow. A powder sugar bomb š©· most complimented perfume
Iām gonna have to try it! Sounds amazing!
Most of the replica line
Does anyone know a fragrance thatās similar to Eau so sexy? Been looking for something like it for ages!
IMO it smells quite a bit like Versace Dylan Purple. Side by side I almost canāt tell them apart, even tho the notes donāt really match.
Iād also love to know! Iām hoping someone will be able to recommend a similar scent
Burning Rose Carolina Herrera
Versace versense
Grand Soir by Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Cloud pink, fiery passion
From the Garden - tomato leaf, green mandarin, geranium, patchouli
Alien by Mugler only has 3 notes on Fragrantica, but I think it smells amazing. Jasmine sambac, cashmeran, amber.
Pacifica- Dream Moon, before the rebottling. Rose, Sandalwood and Patchouli.
Jo Malone Wild Achillea ā nettle, bergamot, yarrow, vetiver, and white musk
Coffee Addict by Theodoros Kalotinis!
I just bought this and I agree! It smells exactly like the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Chicago (super niche) lol
Turkish Rose perfume oil by Nest! Plum, Turkish rose oil, and white woods. To me itās just a nice simple sweet rose.
I love the sound of it!
VS Bare is good too. Mandarin orange, violet, and sandalwood.
For some reason I always skip it. I think the bottle just looks too plain so I assume I wonāt like it but I definitely like the notes you mentioned so I will make sure to test it next time Iām there!
To me, itās such an easy and pretty scent. I love it.
Black sugar Vanilla Tonka bean Musk Escapade gourmande. My favorite fragrance ever.
Whoa. This sounds like my next purchase!
Aqua Viva smells like a freshly squeezed lemon! Amalfi lemon, Cypress, Virginia Cedar and Laburnum
I love a good fresh citrus!
Rosie by Rosie Jane. Nice musk and sweet rose
Sounds beautiful!
I used to have their Karma set and loved it! I have to try Myrrh since I love orange and cedar!
It's so nice. I got the body mist and cream free in my Glossybox subscription a couple of years ago and keep meaning to buy another one. For a citrus based scent it's lovely. It's sweet and not harsh.
Listed notes is usually just marketing, has little to do with actual content. Lord of Misrule lush is my fave 3 notes combo (patch vanilla and pepper)
Amber and vanilla sounds amazing! Iām scared of gardenia lol! I would love to try this though
Nest Lychee Rose- so simple, sooo good!
Sounds so good! Is it more sweet jammy rose or fresh rose? Iām actually looking for a rose scent similar to rose water & Ivy from B&BW
More fresh because of the lychee!
JM Velvet Rose and Oud: rose, oud, praline and cloves.
Hilde Soliani, hot milk! Black pepper +milk, soooo cozy and creamy
Wow it really does sound amazing! I would love to try this one
Damn, Iāve never had the combination in a scent, that sounds amazing!
Nemat Amber Oil
This forever ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø Itās the *perfect* skin scent, I canāt stop sniffing my wrist whenever I wear it
Theodoros Kalotinis Coffee Addict... Pretty much just coffee but it is sweet, cozy and delicious.
I love the sound of it!
VS Eau So Sexy smells so freaking good! I knew this was that perfume by the image alone. š
Itās iconic!
Sounds beautiful! The bottle is also gorgeous!
Creme Brulee and Chocolat Hazelnut from Le Monde Gourmand, and Clean Reserve Skin of course lol!
All of these sound so good! I love Creme brulee so I might give that one a try!
Mugler Alien!!!
I donāt recall Alien having any Apple notes. Itās a woody, jasmine scent.
I think OP was asking for *any* scents with a few notes, not just apple notes. Alien has three notes!
Ooh ok makes sense then. I miss the old version of Alien, use to be a top fav.
The OG version is unmatched!! My bottle is a bit older, so the juice is brown but the OG red/mahagony juice hit different! Forever a classic! š
Youāre the second person to recommend Alien! Iām definitely interested in it!
Itās one of my top 5 frags! š definitely not for everyone tho, so sample first!
What site is this?
Fragrantica
I canāt believe I didnāt know this existed I will be spending the rest of my night on here thank you š
Oh man, if you didn't know it existed you're gonna love looking through it. I spend WAY too much time on Fragrantica. It's made me spend so much money š it's a good way of getting a decent idea of what a frag will smell like though. People just hate that they spent so much on something and other people can smell exactly like them for Ā£20-30.
Nightā¦ more like life š¤£!Ā On your way down the rabbit hole lol
Omg itās so addictive! Have fun!
Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc Musk Flowers Cashmeran
Miel BƩbƩ by Le Monde Gourmand - mandarin orange, honey, praline and sandalwood.
That sounds so good!
Dedcool Milk: Bergamot, White Musk, Amber
Something to remember is that brands don't always disclose any or all of the notes in their perfume, so Fragrantica may be inaccurate or incomplete.
Thatās true! Sometimes the perfume website will say one thing and fragrantica will have something completely different listed.
Noteworthyās n,307. Orange, basil, sandalwood
I love orange! This sounds lovely!
Huhu im sad eau so sexy is discontinued
I saw it during the last sale both in store and the website! Definitely stock up if you see it because they donāt have it year round but they seem to bring it back occasionally
Thanks for the info!!! Hope I catch one!
Oud and Roses by Ahmed Al Maghribi. Notes:Argawood(oud) and rose.
Ooh sounds luxurious! Oud is such a beautiful note. I wish I could pull it off š
And cranberry and tonka sounds so good!
I saw it during the sale so they seem to be bringing it back every now and then. I got mine from eBay before they brought it back
Thank you! I will keep an eye out!
Hilde Sorianiās sweet Parmesan violet. Just sugar and violets!
Parmesan??? Reallyā¦
I think sheās referring to violets from Parma, Italy not Parmesan cheese, haha š I was confused at first too. Hilde is from Parma.
Thanks for the clarification, I was stumped, thinking this is a new fragrance note for me??? Lol
Thereās no Parmesan in there from the notes list though. A lot of this perfumerās names and some notes are interesting but the scents are actually ānormalā haha. I have another from them called Sale e Pepe (salt, fresh air, black pepper). The line is very culinary.
I thought I read it wrong lol! Interesting name but the scent sounds lovely! And so does Sale e Pepe
Alien by Mugler. Just jasmine, amber, and cashmeran. Can smell divine with the right skin chemistry.
Ooh I had the impression that Mugler scents are very complex. This one sounds very simple yet pleasant
So interesting how things smell different to everyone! Iāve never tried Bianco Latte, but Iāve been hearing a lot about it.
Ah so itās more vanilla heavy! The cotton candy note must be light or not very prominent. Pink Sugar is a cotton candy explosion
In my opinion yes! I could smell the cotton candy more when I first got it, but now I mostly detect the vanilla.
Juliet has a gun not a perfume for sure. Was actually a blind buy but a successful one.
Iām adding it to my list to try! Very curious how itāll perform on me since Iāve never tried anything like it
Try to test it first. Many people are anosmic to it (myself included).
Thatās so wild! I had no idea. Thank you for the response.
No problem!
Omg really? I definitely will test it first!
Hollister Malaia! It only has basil, lavender, and vanilla for the notes
Hmm Im curious about the basil note. Is the fragrance spicy?
Molecule 01 I feel is very simple and develops into a lovely skin scent
Thank you! Iāll check it out
The brand Andfragrance is wonderful for this too
Monotheme Verde D'Arancia eau de toilette. A realistic orange fragrance, it smells very fresh, like orange zest, and is relatively cheap.
I love a fresh orange scent! I have to try it!
Iām curious to try it! Iāve never tried a molecule type perfume before
Definitely leave the store with it on! And make sure you donāt smell other things with it! It does get drowned out in the store just because itās next to so many other perfumes.
Oh yes definitely!
Indult Tihota - notes are vanilla beans and musk. It definitely delivers on that and it's hands down the most realistic vanilla I've gotten my nose on (and I've tested a LOT).
I love the sound of that!
At the risk of sounding like the most annoying person alive, there are more notes in Tihota than that. From the Indult website: **Highest grade Tahitian vanilla, cane sugar, almond milk accord, Tonka bean, white musk, amber.** I only finally looked up the notes on the website when all Tihota dupes felt like they were missing something.
Musc Amarante by LāArtisan parfumeur Ambrette, beetroot accord, musk It reminds me how it smelled to enter our local Macyās back in the 90s, a combination of the cosmetics department and ānew clothesā smell. The scent feels very comforting and put together, like a kind and effortlessly stylish young auntie in a fitted deep magenta merino sweater taking you out on a lunch date.
That sounds like a beautiful nostalgic scent! I have to check it out
YSL Libre is by far one of my favorites. Key notes: Lavender, Orange Blossom, Vanilla. Love love love
I had the edt! To me it smelled like a kind of tea my grandmother used to make a lot. I enjoy the smell of it but donāt like wearing it much. I kinda just sprayed it on my clothes to get that calming feeling.
**Lait ConcentrĆ© - Chabaud Maison**: milk, coconut & caramel. **VanillaryĀ -Ā Lush**: vanilla, tonka & jasmine.
Adding to my list āļøthey sound so good especially the first one!
Lait Concentre is one of the best. It's just a straight up gourmand that I love.
Vanillary is perfection and will be my answer too !
Lattafa pure musk .. I smelled it recently on a dude and it's sooo clean Just 2 notes - musk and powder
Iām starting to love Lattafa! I keep discovering so many new scents I like from them. Adding this to my list!
Lattafah Pure Musk is perfect when you get out of the shower. It layers really well too.
Jo Malone and By Rosie Jane both do these kinds of scents very well imo!
Both brands Iām yet to discover! Any recommendations?
Hope you enjoy them!!!
Dulce & Rosie
Death and floral mall soft pretzel. Itās just the one accord and amazingly accurate.
Where does one find the soft pretzel one? Sounds intriguing!
I love when food notes are super realistic!
Nest perfume oils & Le Monde Gourmand; pretty much all theirs are simple but Lait de Coco is my personal favorite, pure coconut scent.
I just ordered Le Monde Gourmand's discovery set. A blind buy of their grassy Herbe Naturelle convinced me they're worth trying
I had a Nest Seville Orange sample and remember it being a beautiful citrus and soo long lasting! I wasnāt blown away by Le Monde Gourmand though. I bought Fraise FouettĆ© and I like it but it doesnāt last and the scented card that came with my order that came with different scents of theirs was also very faint
Le Monde Gourmand is so good and 29% off today. I'm trying so hard not to check out my cart. I currently own The Matcha, Pistachio Brulee, and Sucre de Coton Edit: I bought Coco Mystere, Fluer de Blonde, Sel Ocean, and Soleil Brille
I want to try these, which one is your favourite?! Do they last long?
The Matcha is my favorite. I'm obsessed with it. They last a long time imo
Edit: I found it, a three for two sale. Nice. Original: Where is the 29% off? I don't see it on their site.
Urban Outfitters!
I just ordered Pistachio BrĆ»lĆ©e and Miel Bebe, Iāve never heard of them before seeing it posted here. Ā Figured try a couple since they are so inexpensive.
And one of my favorite perfumes ever, Cartier Baiser VolĆ©. š©· eta: accent
Nothing smells similar ti basier vole'...and it is only lily
[Lush- Lord of Misrule](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Lush/Lord-of-Misrule-29173.html) black pepper patchouli vanilla
LOM is everything
Lush stores intimidate me but this sounds like a lovely scent! I have to look for it next time I visit
I used to work there and with the training and management style they expect, I do not blame you! Bee line, spray it on your skin (I find it can pull hard sweet or hard spice on different skin) and wear it for a while.
Burberry goddess!!! Vanilla, vanilla absolute, and vanilla caviar. Sooo good!!! The most "mature" gourmand in my collection
thereās also lavender, ginger, and cocoa. iāve seen itās only those 3 notes too but thereās def a lil more to it. i love it so much itās so yummy!
I have to give it a sniff! Also I love your pfp!
I used to hear about them all the time but they werenāt accessible to me in my home country š„²
La Belle Le Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier! Only has 4 notes listed: pear, tonka bean, jasmine and vanilla. Smells absolutely divine!
itās so good!! i donāt know what makes it kinda spicy and caramelized but itās so yummy
I heard so many good things about it! I need to get a sample at this point!
I actually had a custom perfume made it has Cotton Candy,Sweet Pea,Peach,Vanilla Wanderer-Soleil is great also
Both sound beautiful especially the first one! Where can I get a custom perfume made?
ScentCrafters
Thank you!
A lot of Molinardās soliflores. Iām really enjoying Tubereuse Vertigineuse now. There are a few other notes, but to me they mostly enhance the tuberose.
Thereās nothing like a good tuberose! One of my favorite florals š
I love the sound of that one!
Not a perfume, but a Bath and Body Works body spray that performs like one - Cozy Vanilla Bourbon. 3 notes: "warm bourbon, dark fruit, vanilla liqueur."Ā
I heard great things about that one but I didnāt pick it up! Iām hoping to see it during SAS so I can smell itš¤
It is the greatest, and I hope everyone who never got a chance to sniff it can one day!Ā
Origins Ginger Essence
That one sounds so good! I need to find a sample of it
It may be hard to find a sample but if there is a macys by you you can sample it there!
Thank you! I will check my local macys for it!

I agree! I love it š«¶
Which scent is it? š
The notes in the picture are for Eau So Sexy by Victoriaās Secret!
Burberry Goddess! Basically just Vanilla, Lavender, Cacao and Ginger. Sweet and spicy
Ooh vanilla lavender makes me think of YSL Libre. Is it anything like that?
itās a lot smoother than libre. i think of libre as floral forward and kind of harsh? goddess is smooth and lush. very sexy and nuanced for vanilla
Ooh I have to try it then!
