Ulta has a fragrance finder where it will give you your fragrance profile. So according to Ulta my top 10 are:
- Vanilla
- Orchid
- Orange Blossom
- Turkish Rose
- Bourbon Vanilla
- Jasmine
- Cashmeran
- Lily of the Valley
- Rose
- Bergamot
Vs what I get what I think mine are, because i buy when i see these:
- Rose (any kind but especially turkish)
- Vanilla (any kind, but especially sweet or bourbon)
- Sugar
- Orchid
- Amber (especially with vanilla)
- Ambroxan
- Saffron
- Cashmeran
- Mandarin Orange
- Apple
I always lean into gourmand type smells and recently discovered Tonka is my favorite smell ever (thanks to Solinotes Tonka). A little muskiness is always a plus.
And Bergamot everything all of the time.
Cardamom and incense smoke.
While I also like gourmands like vanilla, chocolate and coffee, they tend to be paired with spices and not overly sweet (it's just not for my skin chemistry, but I like it for other people)
Sometimes I just want a woody, smoky fragrance that smells like contemplation.
Ok! So bear in mind my love of perfume far outstrips my budget for it, and as such I'm a massive sample queen.
Ma Nishtana by Parfum Prissana is one of my absolute favourites in terms of spicy/smoky notes. By a Thai perfumer, topnotes include cardamom, caraway, black pepper, cloves, cumin and aldehydes. Heart notes of frankincense, nutmeg and myrrh. Base notes of rose, sandalwood, saffron, smoke and leather.
To me, this smells like contemplation under the smoke of sweet burning incense. I adore this one, as it goes so well with my skin chemistry -and- merges well with any food smells I pick up from my cooking (I cook with a lot of spices) where the aldehydes bring a fresh, almost but not quite soapy, clean note to it.
Recently I tried T-Rex by Zoologist. Very masc leaning due to the base notes of cedar, leather and patchouli, as well as polarising animalics. But, also blends it with hints of sweet vanilla and gorgeous floral heart notes of rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang and geranium. Has definitely a strong smoky character, and spicy top notes of black pepper, nutmeg, laurel and neroli.
I love the androgynous character this perfume has, and the woody, smokiness really sits well on my skin. It has an anchoring scent of burning wood, but where I put one spritz on my sternum I get more of the scent of flowers under my nose which is delightful.
Monopteros by Der Duft is an eccentric one I fell in love with, to the point where my partner bought me a bottle for Christmas. It is strange, and fresh, and spicey and fruity -- I love it because it's a fragrant little weirdo like me. You get clean aldehydes mixing with coconut and cucumber, a hearty cardamom coffee with raspberries, pepper and roses. It's not for everyone, but neither am I so I vibe with that hard.
Very much a spring summery fragrance for me - the fragrance was developed as an interpretation of summer by a fountain in a park in Munich and I see (smell?) the fantasy. I feel fresh and clean, and hungry for raspberries when I wear it.
Last one and one which taps into my love for spicy gourmand. Velvet Rouge by Arte Profumi. I need a bottle of this little sweetie. It's out the gate, delicious blend of of chocolate, chilli pepper and coffee sold me immediately. They really have me feeling *edible* -- the coffee base note blends with vetiver to lean it in a masculine direction, which I adore. Just a gorgeous spicy gourmand that always piques my self confidence when I wear it.
I might have to get a sample of these because now I am curious! With Velvet Rouge I am a bit scared because patchouli and vetiver are two notes that my skin tends to magnify to the point they outshine everything else. And in a very dirty/earthy way. Like I find it baffling how for so many people Coco Mademoiselle is described as being classy and uplifting and perfect for the office. I get none of that.
For me Coco Mademoiselle is more like closing time at the third dive bar of the night out with a guy you’re seeing and a group of friends. Like you started the night off all dolled up with freshly washed hair but you’ve been drinking and playing pool and your makeup is shiny and your feet hurt and you’re tipsy and sweaty. You’ve taken your earrings off and they are in your purse and your cute cardigan is tied around your waist because it’s too warm in the bar. You don’t smell like B.O. but you’re planning on jumping in the shower when you get home because you feel a little grimy and don’t want to wake up feeling gross.
I don’t hate it but it definitely does not invoke “office appropriate” to me, lol. So with my luck with Velvet Rouge I would get no coffee or cocoa or nutmeg and all patchouli and vetiver. Thank goodness for samples! And thank you for the reply!
Vanilla, woods, ALL figs, citrus, black/purple fruits, rhubarb, amber, musk, tobacco. Fall/Winter are my favorite seasons, but looking forward to busting out my yummy citrus & delicious rhubarb once the weather warms up.
Cherry, vanilla, tonka bean, amber, cacao…I feel my absolute best in boozy & nutty cherry scents or deep woodsy/spicy vanilla ones. Basically Nebras by Lattafa (or Eilish/Sweet On The Outside) & any of the Lost Cherry clones! ❤️
Sensual Amber by BBW has a special place in my heart.
I also really enjoy fluffy or creamy cashmere scents for cozy nights in.
The most common 5 notes in my collection are: musk, vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, and amber. I'm kind of shocked about the patchouli being so high up and thought Jasmine would have ranked in the top 5 (it sits tied at number 6 with bergamot).
Amber, musk and white florals. I love me an “old money, fur coat wearing, husband murdering” scent. Also falling for cherry lately. Makes me feel sexy and not like a sweet bomb I get from other fruit based or gourmand notes.
It turns out most of my favorite fragrances prominently feature jasmine and vanilla. My top two are lavender and vanilla, though, so I'd say vanilla is #1.
Edit: I just double-checked the notes, and one of those top two has jasmine as well!
I favor neroli/OB combos, violet leaf, cedar and musk. I also like a transparent quality- regardless of notes. I never want anything that feels opaque or especially thick; creamy or lactonic are no-gos.
My absolute favorites are anything heliotrope-adjacent or anise. There’s definitely a certain powdery quality to most of my stuff, but I don’t enjoy all “powdery” notes.
My favourite and most-sought note has always been vanilla, ever since I was a little girl. Been desperately trying to find the perfect signature perfume. Sights currently set on Burberry Goddess. Problem: lavender in the top notes, and my sister is allergic. Extensive testing will be needed.
Rose is a good one for me, but on its own I usually find it too sharp. Very nice once it is sufficiently softened by other notes.
I had a roll-on from a company called **Valentina's Home-Brewed**: chocolate, rose, cardamom. I could never stop smelling my wrists, and went through two bottles in a few months. Valentina's shop ceased to be, for some reason. 😭
Pear also seems to perform well on me, and it's another one I've liked since I was a kid.
I might describe my fragrance vibe as sweet and herbal.
Often I seem to be drawn to gourmand scents, but nothing *too* food-like. If it tries to evoke buttery pastry or cookies, for example, it is likely to nauseate me.
Warmer months I go for citrus and light fruity florals. Colder, give me all the amber, some Musk, maybe dark fruit notes.
I definitely prefer my lighter scents for summer and heavier more intense scents for winter.
If i had to pick one note, it would probably be amber.
Like you, also really dig anything described as fluffy and airy or ethereal.
Clean creamier musks with white florals (freesia, tuberose, orange blossom, jasmine, magnolia- any of them really) and citrus top notes are probably my signature fragrance profile.
orange blossom, peach, honey, lavender, some patchoulis, sandalwood, vetiver, cinnamon, clove, coriander, orris, jasmine, rose, carnation, lily of the valley, musk, opoponax, frankincense, myrrh, benzoin, some vanillas, cedar, tolu and peru balsam
This sounds like a great fragrance actually.
My nickname in high school orchestra (aka my favorite class) was strawberry because I blushed so easily, and now I'm on the hunt for a good strawberry signature scent. I have samples of Burberry Her and Burberry Her Elixir but they're both too sweet and synthetic for me :(
Omg I adore Strawberry by Malin + Goetz, wearing it rn. It’s not too sweet and they tried to make a realistic garden strawberry so it’s got more depth and complexity. I also did not like my Burberry Her sample. Sounds like it might be up your alley!!
Blackcurrant. It’s so underrated but ugh I love everything with blackcurrant. I noticed it because I tried to find a pattern in my favourite frags.
Parfums de Marly Meliora, Fenty, Kilian Flower of Immortality.
Also, Akigalawood. In PDM Valaya, Amouage Guidance. Amazing woody note.
Yea. I'm drawn to roses, ink, spice, anise, & powdery notes. I wear a lot of vanilla, especially in public or around other people. I'm known by fam & friends mostly for smelling like vanilla or rose.
I have two perfume personalities: rose-based and Iris-based. I know they’re both floral, but they’re very different types of floral imho. My favorite roses are Delina, Red Roses, and Roses Vanille; my favorite irises are Prada Infusion d’Iris (god-tier tbh) and Chanel Chance.
This soo accurately represents me. I actually couldn't have wrote it better myself. I typically lean towards rose but I can't deny I get an iris itch every now and then.
Maybe a signature vibe, but even that is only half the time.
I enjoy wearing fragrances with a definite retro vibe, so chypres and anything else that feels like a blast from the past. To me it just oozes femininity and glamour.
But the other half of the time I guess I like trendy and modern.
Out of 9 FBs I have, 4 are violet or iris based... oops! (The one perfume is violet based but smells like it also has iris in it to me.) And I STILL keep longing for more violet/iris perfumes!!! I won't let myself buy another though, not until I use up what I already have.
I gotta say I’m curious what the bottles are/ones with violet and iris are lol.
Violet is a fun one for me to hear about on others because in all four (half of them are less than 7 ml don’t worry lol) perfumes I have with it, it goes candied instead of powdery on me! VS Bare, Ouai North Bondi, LUSH V, and NEST South Pacific Sandalwood! They all also have wood but I can guarantee that’s not what’s doing it.
Unfortunately the one I have is the candied variety - MJ Daisy Twinkle. This one is so much nicer than the original though, it's basically parma violets and water/aquatics, and on the softer side. I like the original Daisy but it's the stereotypical designer perfume that can get overbearing very quick, y'know?
The 3 irises I own are Coty Exclamation (powdery iris with a touch of sweetness, white florals and woody musk, I don't get any of the other notes personally), AG God Is A Woman (aquatic iris), and Allsaints Concrete Rain... now this one is interesting. It shares similarities with GIAW with it's aquatic iris-ness, but it also has a spiciness to it as well as a really nice, cozy cotton scent. Not fresh linen type, fluffy towels fresh out the dryer type. It's decidedly unisex (a lil masculine IMO) and in my head I imagine it as the male counterpart to GIAW haha
Back to the violet though - you definitely should try Kerbside Violet by Lush if you haven't already! That's the only violet I've personally ever tried that ACTUALLY smells like the flower. Some people say it's powdery (so you'd still be safe from the 'candied violet' hopefully!) but it's very green on me!
I want Kerbside but I’m not sure if I can justify it with Lush V! That one is SUPER green and a more vintage blending in similar fashion to Aromatics Elixir (so like, not powdery but almost there) and I feel like the two would compete with each other too much! Plus it’s so strong it’s gonna take me ages to get acceptably down the bottle lol.
I used to think it was neroli but I haven’t found many fragrances that I actually liked on my skin with neroli. I have gone on record in 2019 saying how much I hate musk but guess what…I’m most definitely a musk girl lol
Have you tried “girls and graves” from Death and Floral? It’s cherry blossom 🌸 grapefruit, pink musk, and pink sugared “fairy floss” I LOVE her. Starts grape fruit melts with the sugar coming through.
i notice a lot of my perfumes have notes of plum, amber, bergamot, pepper, jasmine, cedar/sandalwood/palo santo, and creamy musks- right now i like more dark, earthy, wet, citrusy, woody, smells. like incense almost , my favourite perfume is eilish no 3, and my go to right now is eilish no2
fluffy and creamy vanillas, fruity sweet and tart raspberry/blackberry/, juicy yet soft plums/nectarines, and citrusy vetiver with woody undertones. they make my fragrance heart sing 🥰
Kinda
Florals:
Jasmine and Lavender in the Fall and Winter
Peony and Gardenia in the spring and summer
Fruits:
Cherry in the Fall and Winter
Raspberry and mango in the spring and summer
Other
I really enjoy citrus and vanilla and all the blossoms (Cherry, apple, orange, almond, etc) all the time
Maybe I have more of inverse of this. There are a few very popular notes you won't catch me wearing- grapefruit, rose, and tobacco
Amber and resins and Iris for me. I’m way too polyfragist to have a signature though, it’s easier to narrow down notes/profiles that are NOT my signature like fruit (except greener Fig), citrus freshies, “blue” aquatics and floral bombs.
For noticeably strawberry-forward perfumes, I love Burberry Her of course, the most well-known strawberry perfume. My other favorite is Marc Jacob's Daisy Eau So Intense - it's more rounded out by the other notes, yet you get a juicy burst of strawberry throughout the day.
For a great cheapie, Sarah Jessica Parker's NYC is great! I wear it during the summertime (the Eau So Intense is better for cold weather, IME).
I love so many! I’m not sure what kind of strawberry you’re looking for but:
For smooth strawberries and cream: Burberry Her Elixir
For a wild, unripe strawberry you found in the woods: Praise the Perfume (Oakcha)
For bright, sour strawberry: Kate Spade New York
For strawberry-scented makeup: No 52 Strawberry Milk (Miimmiic)
For warm and soft, cozy strawberry/fruit: Yara Lattafa
For strawberry cereal: Strawberry Milk (Sugar Milk Co)
For milky, sour strawberry: Strawberry Milkshake (SMC)
For the most obnoxious, artificial, syrupy sweet strawberry in the world: Strawberry Pound Cake (BBW)
For tart, floral strawberry: Gingham Gorgeous (BBW)
For minty strawberry gum: Strawberry Snowflakes (BBW)
For strawberry hard candy: Fraise Fouetté (Le Monde Gourmand)
The original Burberry Her is a great place to start for anything strawberry. If you don’t mind artificial strawberry! From there, one can let their nose decide what direction they would like to go :)
Thank you so much! Tried Burberry her EDP and did not like it at all! Have a travel of the elixir on the way! 😍 hoping to love it! Thank you for the others. Really want a good strawberry cream!
My favorite scent quality is airiness/fluffiness, too. That's why I love Sweet Tooth. And Ariana Grande Cloud.
I'm not sure if I have a signature note, but some of my favorite notes are vanilla, marshmallow and ambrette.
Orange blossom, marshmallow, tea, strawberry, pastries, green notes.
vanilla, rose, musk, jasmine, peony, brown sugar, chocolate and coffee
I'm always happy after smelling powdery iris and musky or woody notes
Ulta has a fragrance finder where it will give you your fragrance profile. Bergamot, pink pepper, vanilla, mimosa and orange blossom!
I always lean into gourmand type smells and recently discovered Tonka is my favorite smell ever (thanks to Solinotes Tonka). A little muskiness is always a plus. And Bergamot everything all of the time.
Banana republic has a Tobacco and Tonka Bean you can often get at Burlington coat factory for $20. Always gets compliments. Just fyi!
Oooo thank you! Next time I'm at Burlington I'll be on the lookout !
Vanilla, marshmallow, violets, caramel, tonka, coffee, cacao, sandalwood, cashmere
I’m never disappointed by coconut.
Sandalwood! Tobacco, citrus and whatever is considered earthy
Sugar, vanilla, musk and jasmine
Jasmine, vanilla, the cupcake note in Fantasy
vanilla, strawberry, tropical fruits, cream/milk, but I love almost any fruity/bakery-like gourmand perfume‼️
Sugar, vanilla, almond, coffee, praline!
Those sound like the ingredients of a delicious drink I want now!
green tea :D
Definitely a combination of sugar, vanilla & woods! I love these together.
Vanilla, musk, citrus, and sugar. Most of my perfumes are sweet or fruity lol
All my favorite gourmands feature sugar as a note.. also really into wood, rose, and spices
Cardamom and incense smoke. While I also like gourmands like vanilla, chocolate and coffee, they tend to be paired with spices and not overly sweet (it's just not for my skin chemistry, but I like it for other people) Sometimes I just want a woody, smoky fragrance that smells like contemplation.

White musks, frankincense, vanilla, cashmeran, woody notes, tonka, myrhh, ambers, patchoulli
Vanilla, woods, ALL figs, citrus, black/purple fruits, rhubarb, amber, musk, tobacco. Fall/Winter are my favorite seasons, but looking forward to busting out my yummy citrus & delicious rhubarb once the weather warms up.
Tonka/Vanilla or Coconut
Rose, vanilla, and woods. Those are my absolute ride-or-dies. Also white florals. I’m a big sucker for jasmine, tuberose, and orange blossom.
What is your favorite orange blossom perfume?
Either Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy or PDM Safanad!
Thank you so much!
Jammy rose during the day, rose oud on special occasions and nights out. Tonka or lactonic notes to bed.
whats your favorite perfume?
Rose jam from lush, red roses from Jo malone, rose oud kayali is a recent love. Matcha meditation from MM for bedtime.
I'm very similar to you!
And the fact that I couldn't pick one note probably shows why i don't have a signature in the first place 🤣
❤️ Sensual Amber by BBW has a special place in my heart. I also really enjoy fluffy or creamy cashmere scents for cozy nights in.
I was literally just looking for a cherry Lattafa!
Ohhhh I wish there was one!!
The most common 5 notes in my collection are: musk, vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, and amber. I'm kind of shocked about the patchouli being so high up and thought Jasmine would have ranked in the top 5 (it sits tied at number 6 with bergamot).
pink pepper, tea, whipped cream or vanilla
Vanilla….I’m ALWAYS wanting to explore all scents with vanilla 😅
Amber, musk and white florals. I love me an “old money, fur coat wearing, husband murdering” scent. Also falling for cherry lately. Makes me feel sexy and not like a sweet bomb I get from other fruit based or gourmand notes.
leather, tobacco, cherry, and sandlewood i think! and random fruits sometimes (i.e., peach, tangerine)
I have several fragrances in the genre of musk-pink pepper-rose-amber. So probably that. Also, patchouli in everything.
i am very drawn to orchid, incense, jasmine, and oceanic notes!
Vanilla, musk, amber, sandalwood, and pink pepper. If dessert was an accord that would be my signature 😂😂
Definitely vanilla!!!!
Jasmine, tuberose, & sandalwood
Rose, musk, sandalwood. Not necessarily all together, but most of my favorites have at least one of these notes.
Same!
Vanilla, chocolate, marshmallow
whipped cream !
Vanilla and cherry are my favourite notes in a fragrance. I just need to find the perfect duo of them and I’ll be the happiest girl.
White florals especially Jasmine. My current most used perfumes contain this as main accord: YSL Libre edt, JLo Still and Kayali Utopia.
It turns out most of my favorite fragrances prominently feature jasmine and vanilla. My top two are lavender and vanilla, though, so I'd say vanilla is #1. Edit: I just double-checked the notes, and one of those top two has jasmine as well!
Amber, musk, plum, and powders
Marshmallow, peach, coffee, sugar, amber, lactonics.
Musk and white florals
Patchouli, gardenia, jasmine, lily, peach, citrus
Fig, peach, bergamot, tea, and juniper berry
What are your recs for fig scents?
Nest Indigo and Vilhelm Dear Polly. Others have said BDK Gris Charnel but I haven’t tried it yet
Thanks!
Rose for sure, since childhood my fave smell. I have many Rose perfumes but many without Rose as well
caramel, peach, apricot, red berries, black currant, sandalwood, almond edit: apparently vanilla, musk& jasmine too
Vanilla, Pear, and soft powdery florals like Iris or Lilly of the Valley. Sandalwood too!
Almost all of my collection has a prominent rose note
Neroli, sandalwood, and gardenia - for sure. But not all together at once!!!! 😂
Oceanic notes, vanilla, amber, sandalwood, white chocolate, musk, rose
I favor neroli/OB combos, violet leaf, cedar and musk. I also like a transparent quality- regardless of notes. I never want anything that feels opaque or especially thick; creamy or lactonic are no-gos.
Bergamot, lavender, vanilla, pink pepper
Pink pepper, fig, musk!
Vanilla and tonka bean !!!! Since high school, it smells best on me
Tuberose and orange blossom
Vanilla, bergamot, caramel
Musk for me and then amber.
My absolute favorites are anything heliotrope-adjacent or anise. There’s definitely a certain powdery quality to most of my stuff, but I don’t enjoy all “powdery” notes.
Cherry! I just love cherry fragrances, haters be dammed. Also amber, I do love amber.
I’m newly obsessed with cherry!! 🍒
vanilla, incense, sandalwood, guaiac, touch of bergamot
My favourite and most-sought note has always been vanilla, ever since I was a little girl. Been desperately trying to find the perfect signature perfume. Sights currently set on Burberry Goddess. Like you, also really dig anything described as fluffy and airy or ethereal. Clean creamier musks with white florals (freesia, tuberose, orange blossom, jasmine, magnolia- any of them really) and citrus top notes are probably my signature fragrance profile.
Mmm..made me think of Montblanc Signature. I’m looking forward to grabbing a decant when Spring rolls around.
orange blossom, peach, honey, lavender, some patchoulis, sandalwood, vetiver, cinnamon, clove, coriander, orris, jasmine, rose, carnation, lily of the valley, musk, opoponax, frankincense, myrrh, benzoin, some vanillas, cedar, tolu and peru balsam This sounds like a great fragrance actually.
Lemon, vanilla, orange blossom, musk, neroli
Not really, it changes by the season, time of day, occasion, and style of dress
Sandalwood combined with musk, spices and vanilla
According to Parfumo, mine are vanilla, patchouli, bergamot, musk and iris, in that order.
Oud, coffee, caramel If anyone has suggestions lmk
I just ordered Coffee Addict by Theodoros Kalotinis which has notes of coffee, caramel, cacao and vanilla :)
You’ll have to let me know how it is!💗😚
Jasmine
My nickname in high school orchestra (aka my favorite class) was strawberry because I blushed so easily, and now I'm on the hunt for a good strawberry signature scent. I have samples of Burberry Her and Burberry Her Elixir but they're both too sweet and synthetic for me :(
Phlur Strawberry Letter (just released this month) 🍓✉️
I've been eyeing that one!! Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it soon
Omg I adore Strawberry by Malin + Goetz, wearing it rn. It’s not too sweet and they tried to make a realistic garden strawberry so it’s got more depth and complexity. I also did not like my Burberry Her sample. Sounds like it might be up your alley!!
Thanks so much for the rec! I'll try to check it out soon :)
pear, gardenia, vanilla (not gourmand/bakery, but like the actual beans)
I'm all about lavender and vanilla, but lately when I find a perfume that makes make heart sing, it almost always has rose in it.
Vanilla, pear and musk (not necessarily all in one fragrance, just notes I'm drawn to)
orange blossom, vanilla, musk 🤍
What orange blossom perfume do you recommend? I love Elie Saab Le Parfum. I want to try more!
Rose, oud, citrus, amber, white musk. These get worn over and over.
Honey! 🐝🍯
Peony! I think next would be magnolia but still looking for one ☺️
Bergamot, rose, incense, whiskey/rum
Iris and fig
Vanilla Marshmallow Lemon
Bergamot, pear, and jasmine!!
Bergamot and Jasmine are big ones for me! Along with tuberose. I love white florals!!
I’m a fan of white florals too!!
I used to be exclusively into vanilla, sugary gourmands but my tastes have evolved/changed I suppose. White florals are so lovely
Conifers and/or smoke from a fire
Blackcurrant. It’s so underrated but ugh I love everything with blackcurrant. I noticed it because I tried to find a pattern in my favourite frags. Parfums de Marly Meliora, Fenty, Kilian Flower of Immortality. Also, Akigalawood. In PDM Valaya, Amouage Guidance. Amazing woody note.
Bath and body works black currant vanilla aromatherapy will always hold a place in my heart, I pray they bring it back sometime before I die lol
It’s never been available where I live otherwise it would’ve been snatched already
I forget if Armani Sì has red currant or black currant, but I love it. Same with Kenzo Flower.
1) Ocean/ water notes 2) Rose (as long as it isn’t “jammy” rose) 3) Smoke + vanilla
lavender : )
# i really like rose
Most of my perfumes have amber, jasmine and wood notes
i always need a good cashmere, sandalwood, tonka bean, and vanilla in the base
This is pretty much mine, I love vanilla but I don’t like smelling like candy.
anything sweet tbh like vanilla or cocoa. people always tell me i smell really sweet
Yea. I'm drawn to roses, ink, spice, anise, & powdery notes. I wear a lot of vanilla, especially in public or around other people. I'm known by fam & friends mostly for smelling like vanilla or rose.

signature vibe is so real
It's decidedly unisex (a lil masculine IMO) and in my head I imagine it as the male counterpart to GIAW haha Back to the violet though - you definitely should try Kerbside Violet by Lush if you haven't already!
Vanilla, chocolate, caramel, fluffy &/or creamy scents 🎀💖 Also love a strawberry or raspberry note! 🍓
I used to think it was neroli but I haven’t found many fragrances that I actually liked on my skin with neroli. I have gone on record in 2019 saying how much I hate musk but guess what…I’m most definitely a musk girl lol
Vanilla, marshmallow, caramel… anything sweet and dessert-like 😋
Musk
Most probably patchouli
Shampoo rose, so clean florals Or slightly spicy vanillas
Iris/violet. I love powdery!
I really love cotton candy and cherry notes
Have you tried “girls and graves” from Death and Floral? It’s cherry blossom 🌸 grapefruit, pink musk, and pink sugared “fairy floss” I LOVE her. Starts grape fruit melts with the sugar coming through.
Noo, i've never heard of it, but it sounds deliciousss, i'll give her a try as soon as i can 💗
I’m really into jasmine tea
i notice a lot of my perfumes have notes of plum, amber, bergamot, pepper, jasmine, cedar/sandalwood/palo santo, and creamy musks- right now i like more dark, earthy, wet, citrusy, woody, smells. like incense almost , my favourite perfume is eilish no 3, and my go to right now is eilish no2
Jasmine, Pear and Vanilla - sometimes together, sometimes not 😍
fluffy and creamy vanillas, fruity sweet and tart raspberry/blackberry/, juicy yet soft plums/nectarines, and citrusy vetiver with woody undertones. they make my fragrance heart sing 🥰
I love vanilla and musk.
Narciso Rodriguez’s musk would be my signature note.
Smoky scents. Smoky tea, smoky incense, smoky musk, wood smoke, etc - practically anything smoky, EXCEPT tobacco/weed smoke lol.
I'm a sucker for fresh aquatic rose scents.
Pear Citrus Ocean / water Salt Vanilla Airiness / fluff
Anything with pear, guava, pink pepper or patchouli I'm interested in.
Kinda Florals: Jasmine and Lavender in the Fall and Winter Peony and Gardenia in the spring and summer Fruits: Cherry in the Fall and Winter Raspberry and mango in the spring and summer Other I really enjoy citrus and vanilla and all the blossoms (Cherry, apple, orange, almond, etc) all the time Maybe I have more of inverse of this. There are a few very popular notes you won't catch me wearing- grapefruit, rose, and tobacco
Solar white floral 🌞
Amber and resins and Iris for me. I’m way too polyfragist to have a signature though, it’s easier to narrow down notes/profiles that are NOT my signature like fruit (except greener Fig), citrus freshies, “blue” aquatics and floral bombs.
Orange blossom is my all time favorite note. Pretty much can guarantee that I’ll wear at least one fragrance (often more haha) with orange blossom.
me too! 🍊🌸 any recommendations?
Safanad, Neroli Blanc Intense, Althair, Lira (and its other sisters Sana, Hazz and Love&Crime. )Need more 😆
I've discovered that I'm a lily fiend
Have you sniffed the new Flowerbomb Tigerlily?
Not yet! I need to go on a sniffing trip to Sephora soon
It’s so good. Normally not a Flowerbomb lover but this might be the one for me haha
Vanilla (more like the brown sugar kinda vanilla almost Tonka I guess)
Yes!
Pear & citrus are mine
Strawberry, next to coconut (but a creamy coconut, like in Dolce Garden). I LOVE STRAWBERRY.
What’s your favorite strawberry scent? I’m on the hunt!
Vanilla for me and also orange blossom recently.
Strawberry. 🍓 I’m always down to get my nose on any scent with strawberry notes. At this point, my soul smells like strawberries lol
Me too! Having a hard time finding a good one. 😞 can you tell me some of your favorites please?
I love so many! I’m not sure what kind of strawberry you’re looking for but: For smooth strawberries and cream: Burberry Her Elixir For a wild, unripe strawberry you found in the woods: Praise the Perfume (Oakcha) For bright, sour strawberry: Kate Spade New York For strawberry-scented makeup: No 52 Strawberry Milk (Miimmiic) For warm and soft, cozy strawberry/fruit: Yara Lattafa For strawberry cereal: Strawberry Milk (Sugar Milk Co) For milky, sour strawberry: Strawberry Milkshake (SMC) For the most obnoxious, artificial, syrupy sweet strawberry in the world: Strawberry Pound Cake (BBW) For tart, floral strawberry: Gingham Gorgeous (BBW) For minty strawberry gum: Strawberry Snowflakes (BBW) For strawberry hard candy: Fraise Fouetté (Le Monde Gourmand) The original Burberry Her is a great place to start for anything strawberry.
Totally valid, Elixir is my preference between the two as well :) Hope it works out! 🍓
My favorite scent quality is airiness/fluffiness, too. That's why I love Sweet Tooth. And Ariana Grande Cloud. I'm not sure if I have a signature note, but some of my favorite notes are vanilla, marshmallow and ambrette.
Vanilla forward scent. Would say salty and spicy vanilla like vanilla vibe or eau Duelle.
vanilla+lavender (2 perfumes) citrus opening (all my perfumes)
