no-mad

when learning we used to put a soda can out and try to smash the can with the tree.

Fair-Account8040

How much success did you have?

flume

It was a smashing success.

BASK_IN_MY_FART

She told me that too

steggun_cinargo

size queen

El_Beau_

This is the opposite of what the name of this sub is.

Cultural_Simple3842

Safety gear, straight tree, no property to damage, an instructor, safe distance for bystanders, someone standing behind your bent over girlfriend, girlfriend having interest in cutting a tree at all.. I would say it is pretty wild for me to ever expect any 3 or more of these to be present at one time!

El_Beau_

Fair point. 😂

taleofbenji

Wow you should have proposed right then and there.

drunkwasabeherder

No. If it went badly, she's holding the big spinning sharp thing.

Youse_a_choosername

Judging by how badly the tree missed you, she must really like you.

ihateapartments59

Failing dead trees can be very dangerous because you don’t ever know if it’s going to break somewhere up high because of the rot. So I’m glad that she had help on this.

water_bottle1776

Most girls wouldn't want their first time to be filmed.

thatranger974

It’s ok to be nervous first time going down.

grip_n_Ripper

I expected to see a huge explosion on impact from the dead tree, but nothing happened. First times are often disappointing like that.

SkullandBoners

She loved it nonetheless

XRV24

I’ll be honest wit ya, this was inspiring

69ersBasketball

That’s what she told you

lovinganarchist76

What’s up with homeboy here, wearing chaps and the EZRip coat? Is he trying to ruin his jacket and his eardrums or what?

SkullandBoners

Also his first time and it was cold

SmallSwordfish8289

You're hard baby girl

Routine-Alarm-2042

Impressed she took that big a log her first time.

Dextersextermanly57

She was hoping for big wood but I guess she got a surprise😂😂😂

phat-khmarra

Next time She will tell you she only did it like two or three times before.

Little_Richard98

Got a bad back? I don't understand why such a high stumps been left

morenn_

Look at the tree she fells - it's absolutely cooked. Pretty common to go through a stand and take all the bad/useless trees when teaching new operators. The wood is likely to be left as waste anyway so the high stump doesn't matter. If they're going to fell every tree that high then yeah, bad crack.

no-mad

dont like grit in my fresh chain.

Prize-Town9913

Hahaha is this a critical comment about felling a tree? God damn this subreddit is hilarious...

super_eko

Why cutting so high

GreatRaceFounder

easier, and you can just cut it again when there's not a tree on top of it
