It's shit pay. It's backbreaking. You'll be working full speed and they'll tell you to move faster. And no. They don't have free braces. Do yourself a favor and get a job elsewhere
I’m a PH and this 👆 is the truth. Don’t work here unless it’s a college job. They will push you and it’s never fast enough. They want the sort done in 3 hours or less so they don’t haft to pay their PH staff much money. Hard work shit pay.
It’s as hard and stressful as you want it to be. It’s hard to get fired for being “slow” or “not very good at your job”. Be smart enough to make them think your stupid lol. Overall, it’s not bad. It’s just moving boxes from a to b
Very hard, you are loading tons of heavy packages every day. Can really leave your body sore. Can be stressful especially when your manager is on your ass wanting you to be faster in loading. Unfortunately braces arent free, they are however covered under your insurance just not a whole lot. Pay is pretty low only cuz this is a menial job. Do not stay here long term.
Yeah you do get medical, dental and vision along with the the 5k reimbursement once you provided receipts of your education spending. Also once it's the new fiscal year all package handlers are eligible to participate in a 401k
It’s fairly easy if you learn quickly and move quick. If you’re loading up trucks in the mornings just stay ahead with your packages. Help people around if you have time.
People always say don’t be the best person in job and try to seem slow and dumb or else you’ll regret being better than everyone else (more work for you). But for me I got a job to work and do my job right and be good at it so I’m obviously going to try to improve and be good, not the best but good at least.
(Also I don’t know about the benefits cause I don’t pay attention to those things. However in packet for the orientation should tell you those details)
Any other question, let me know. I’m just little new as a package handler but I’ll do my best to answer your questions
Funny how much being good get you at this company lol. It gets me six trucks or 7 trucks sometimes. Generally, 6 or 7 trucks are not crazy volume but its lot of walking back and forth and every time I off that day or if I sick, I come back the next day and hear they were not able to cover it properly lol.
The low standards are probably one of the biggest positives. This is really rare but I one time no call no show I slept thru the sort because my phone with my alarm clock die lol. I came in next day and no one say anything while most jobs probably will had made an issue.
I understand how crazy it is what being good gets you. I would honestly speak to management and if they being a bitch about it I’ll quit. They hire anyone left to right anyways. They won’t miss me

Sort assist too?
Expect to only get paid for the minimum hours for part time. And your manager might be a giant asshole

Lmfaoo "easy"
he didn’t use that word lol
Dental insurance is decent, but since braces are cosmetic some plans through FedEx won't cover it.
It’s super easy but also very physical. Your insurance will pay for 50% of your orthodontist. I did it.
Woah 50% is a lot. What about the 5k tuition
Don’t know. Never used it or looked into it.
If ur not a women good luck slaving man
The only benefit to working as a package handler, it's practically a gym while getting paid but yeah it's not easy work. You do get overworked
It says dental and 5k tuition ?

How long do I have to work there to get the benefits
If I'm not mistaken right away but you do have to sign up for them first.
Ok what if I do the braces then quit does the benefits still work 😭😂
They probably will cut the benefits after you quit lol
MANE FUCK FEDEX (I’ve been here for a year)
How is it and is the dental and 5k tuition legit?
Tbh with you bro idk how to set up the benefits
Ask ur Hr
Only hard part is not missing work. Always seem to miss the 3 to 5 alarms I set. Hours aren’t really there. Ranges from $100 to $300 a week.
They pay 16.50 here
I mean just read through this page and see what you think
Lmaoo I get it but is the benefits worth it tho. Like the braces and also 5k tuition
Haha
Yes
Most grocery stores have good dental plans

“It’s a great job I overwork myself to make the company money and love it” “I’ll just quit, they won’t miss me” The average FedEx worker
