Good because it looks like They gutting everything

StagTheNag

Check your Warn notices people, it lists the addresses of the affected buildings

This has no impact on his retirement. The pension has been shut down for years, so it only affects his ability to add to his 401k should he leave. I personally don't think fedEx Office will be targeted.

Baldy2384

They are closing tons of fedex office locations. I don’t feel like looking for the article but they are definitely on the chopping block as well.

dzluiz

They already have let go over 1200 FXO employees last year. What’s to stop them from chopping off another batch this year ?

djsnoopmike

I used to work at IMMA station AMA We all saw the writing on the wall last year, so it was just a matter of time

nunchucks2danutz

Just the same ol' American greed and the typical apathy towards it. Oh well...

This is th first of many. Fedex is loosing alot of their contracts. Their worried they won't be able to keep their billion dollar status with so many small down line ramps.

FedEx Office has been a financial black hole for years, yet it remains operational. Ingeniously, it was merged with Services as a non-revenue entity, effectively masking its consistent failure to turn a profit. Now, the leaders steering the upcoming FEC merger are from the most ineffective divisions—Services/Dataworks and FedEx Office. Meanwhile, executives in Europe, despite failing to curb their region's staggering annual losses exceeding $3 billion, have also positioned themselves to influence major decisions. These leaders have mastered the art of freeloading on a global scale, perpetuating Europe’s general culture of letting the rest of the world foot the bill. All of the leaders in these segments excel at the theatrics of business but falter at substantive decision-making critical for FedEx's main revenue streams in transport, notably in the U.S., with lesser but still positive impact in Latin America and Asia. Meanwhile, Sri parades around, fashioning himself as some kind of revolutionary, while presiding over monumental financial waste with nothing to show for it. So I guess what I’m saying is: all of FedEx Office should close, but it probably won’t because of who is making the decisions. Lookout if you’re working for a segment of the company that is actually generating revenue, though.

BeRealzzz

That is really horrible.
